BIG BROTHER 9 Recap: Josh vs. Allison

Big Brother 9 Recap

You know it’s sad when I begging for the days of Evel Dick and Jen to be back in the BIG BROTHER house. What’s up with this season’s houseguests? They are sooo annoying. I like a little drama in the BB house, but it seems that’s all there is this season – drama. Is anyone even having any fun? As of late, I know I’m not.

I don’t blame the houseguests as much as I blame the Big Brother producers. They knew what they were doing. They knew that pairing up the couples was going to lead to conflict and sex – both good for ratings I suppose, but not so fun for those of us watching at home.

Josh was once again at the center of another house fight. Now that Amanda is gone, it seems that his target is Allison. I guess he’s pissed that she changed her eviction vote and that she was part of the fake lesbian alliance with Sheila. Doesn’t matter that Ryan also had a say in the vote or that Sheila was equal in the lie about being a lesbian couple with Allison. Nope, the target was all on Allison. Someone needs to settle that boy right down. And this coming from someone who isn’t even a fan of Allison.

There was actually more drama that went down that Big Brother decided they didn’t want us to see. Supposedly Josh made a threatening hand gesture to Allison (akin to I’ll cut your throat), and Allison claimed she was threatened by him. Come on. In a house where you are surrounded by camera 24/7 you feel threatened. It was just Allison’s ploy to get Big Brother to oust Josh from the house. At one point in the week, BB invoked a kind of restraining order against Josh stating he has to stay so many feet from Allison. Again drama…but not the good kind.

Josh and Sharon held the cards at HOHs this week, and it certainly went to their heads…well at least Josh’s. Josh called a house meeting, which Allison and Ryan were told they weren’t invited to, during which the house agreed that Allison and Ryan would be on the block. That left another couple as the pawn. But who would it be.

In the nomination ceremony, Josh & Sharon made good on their promise to nominate Allison & Ryan, and a move not surprising to anyone, Matt & Natalie joined them on the block.

Were the right couples nominated this week? Should the POV be used to save your favorite couple from eviction? Share, share, share!

Is it just me or was that episode not as good without Alex/Amanda?
