What to Watch…Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Happy Tuesday!!  I’m back from vacation and I’m woefully behind on TV.  I’m talking hours and hours of TV to catch up on today.  It’s almost overwhelming but if anyone is up to the challenge it’s me.

In addition to catch up on shows from this past week there’s also a lot to watch tonight.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
The six remaining finalists perform songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber. For a Broadway geek like me I’m super excited about tonight’s theme, but I also fear that this could go horribly wrong. Song selection is really key tonight – but I guess that’s true of every week.

Big Brother 9 | 9pm on CBS
The Power of Veto competition is held and a houseguest is evicted, leaving three players in the game. From what I’ve been able to gather, Ryan is the HOH and it seems he’s interested in taking Adam to the end. But I really don’t know what’s going on in that crazy house.

Reaper | 9pm on The CW
“Rebellion”
Steve (Michael Ian Black) and Tony (Ken Marino) want to lure the Devil into a trap by exploiting Sam’s relationship with him. Elsewhere, Ted asks Sock for permission to ask Josie out on a date and Sock doesn’t believe she’ll say yes, but she does.

Boston Legal | 1opm on ABC
“The Court Supreme”
It’s a lawyer’s dream come true for Alan when he presents an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court in a case involving a mentally challenged man who was convicted of statutory rape. Meanwhile, Lorraine shares startling news with Katie.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
“Closet”
An investment banker’s murder reveals his secret affair with a pro quarterback, who has an agent willing to do anything to protect his client. Elsewhere, Benson starts dating a newspaper editor (Bill Pullman).
