Tonight is my first night back after an atypical week of non TV. To say I’m excited for TV is a bit of an understatement because hello we have a bunch of season finales. It’s bittersweet because we have to say goodbye to some of my favorite shows but I have high expectations of the great television we are going to get tonight.

Gossip Girl | 8pm on The CW | Season Finale
“Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing”
In the first-season finale, Blair comes to Serena’s defense and faces off with Georgina, while an emotional Serena finally comes clean to Dan about her past. Elsewhere, Lily continues planning her extravagant wedding to Bart.

The Big Bang Theory | 8pm on CBS | Season Finale
“The Tangerine Factory”
In the first-season finale, Leonard asks Penny out on a date after she breaks up with her boyfriend. To prepare for the big night, Leonard practices the date the day before with the guys.

Bones | 8pm on Fox |Season Finale
Bones“The Pain in the Heart”
In the third-season finale, a human jawbone appears at the Jeffersonian, looking like the work of the Gormogon. Meanwhile, the silver skeleton disappears from the lab, suggesting that one of their own may be working as the serial killer’s apprentice.

How I Met Your Mother | 8:30pm on CBS| Season Finale
“Miracles”
In the third-season finale, Ted has an accident, and his close call with death finds him reevaluating his life and his relationship with Stella (Sarah Chalke). Nurse: Taira Soo. Customs Officer: Anthony Palermo. Bob Hewitt: John Getz.

House | 9pm on Fox | Season Finale
“Wilson’s Heart”
In the conclusion of the two-part fourth-season finale, House remains held back by his bus-accident injuries as he struggles to recall the symptoms he noticed in a rapidly deteriorating fellow passenger just before the crash.

One Tree Hill | 9pm on The CW | Season Finale
One Tree Hill, James Lafferty “What Comes After the Blues”
In the fifth-season finale, Brooke must give up her foster baby and Lucas has to deal with what happened on game night. Meanwhile, Haley’s music career takes a positive turn and Peyton hears news about someone from her past.

  • Dancing with the Stars | 8pm on ABC: The tenth and final round of competition for the sixth season includes Kristi, Jason, Cristian and their partners each dancing the cha-cha in quick succession. Also: a freestyle routine.

    I hope you’ll all be watching tonight; it’s going to be amazing, good and bad, probably.
    Also Big Bang Theory sounds great.

    Ditto! I think I’ll be doing the Bones/House combo and DVR-ing GG, HIMYM and Wildfire. Is it just me or did every network feel the need to move all the shows I watch to Monday night? Monday is the new Thursday. Ugh.

    I will be watching Big Bang and HIMYM and Tivo’ing Bones, House, and Gossip Girl for future rewatching.
