“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” Teaser Video

Can’t wait for the much anticipated online mini-musical from Joss Whedon? Yeah, me neither. Lucky for us a short teaser video was just released giving us a first look at “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”.
If that word floating around your head is “huh?” then let me explain. “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” is the brain child of Joss Whedon. While on strike, Joss and his brother’s Zack and Jed, along with Jed’s fiance Maurissa, wrote a 3-part musical internet series. Each “episode” will run approximately ten minutes.In Joss’s own words, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is the story of a “low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.”
The series stars Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible. Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer. And Felicia Day as Penny. Crazy cast, right?
There are rumors floating about that there will be a “Dr. Horrible” panel at Comic-Con. That’s one that I’ll be getting in line for….early. (And it will be my first chance to meet the man who has moved to the #1 spot on GMMR’s ‘Must Meet’ list – Neil Patrick Harris.)

Awesome. I’m in with any Joss Whedon project, like most of his fans. This one looks like a classic.
There is definitely going to be a panel on Friday. Joss confirmed it and said that Darkhorse was kind enough to let Dr. Horrible take over most of the Buffy season 8 panel. Can’t wait to be the same room as Neil and Nathan. I imagine there will be much hilarity.
