What to Watch…Tuesday, July 15, 2008

July 15, 2008 by

Tuesdays make me happy. Tuesday is WIPEOUT night. I’m a simple girl with simple tastes. Give me a pair of big balls and I’m happy. Um, yeah…well – just watch WIPEOUT. And I guess it’s a good thing I never got into that Japanese game show because BB10 is on tonight. Yay!

And a little FYI…Benjamin Bratt’s new show THE CLEANER premieres tonight. I didn’t get the pilot so I really don’t know much about it. Maybe I’ll check it out.

Wipeout | 8pm on ABC
Contestants include a flight attendant, a pro-poker player, an orchestral musician, a rock singer, a mother, a DJ, a surfing instructor, a nutritionist and a valet-parking attendant. Obstacles featured: Flaming Killer Surf, Tumble Tubes, Wall Swing.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager | 8pm on ABC Family
Ben continues to fall hard for Amy, and the two share their first kiss. Elsewhere, Amy tells her sister (but not her parents) about her pregnancy; Grace uses Ricky as a cover to sneak around with Jack.

Celebrity Family Feud | 8pm on NBC
Comedians Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy do battle with their clans in tow. Later, Vivica A. Fox’s and Mo’Nique’s families go head-to-head.

Big Brother 10 | 9pm on CBS
The houseguests compete in the very first Golden Power of Veto competition of the new season. Will Jesse or Renny be able to use it to save themselves from the chopping block?

I Survived a Japanese Gameshow | 9pm on ABC
Contestants dressed as babies are spun around to make them dizzy, then must pour milk into a giant baby bottle after maneuvering through an obstacle course while carrying the milk.

America’s Got Talent | 9pm on NBC
Judges David Hasselhoff, Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne continue to rate an array of eclectic entertainers in Week 5 of competition. Sharon Osbourne will be taking copious notes for her new variety show kicking off later this year on Fox.

Deadliest Catch | 9pm on Discovery
The Northwestern and Wizard are forced to battle freezing ocean spray and dangerous Arctic ice sheets; the men aboard the Cornelia Marie suffer from the affects of “Bering Sea dementia”; the Time Bandit’s crew begins to crack under pressure.

The Cleaner | 10pm on A&E | Series Premiere
While fighting to save a former high school athlete from his crippling meth addiction, William (Benjamin Bratt) uncovers a death in their family and a secret drug-fencing operation; William’s best friend Mickey struggles with his own drug addiction.

Flipping Out | 10pm on Bravo
Noticing that work around the house is not getting done, Jeff becomes increasingly suspicious of his workers and will not listen to reason even from Ryan, who has a different approach when it comes to handling employees.

Kathy – Thanks for pointing out that Hell’s Kitchen has ended. That’s me being lazy and reusing last week’s Tuesday watch list.

No problem. I was actually a little bit excited at first thinking it was one of those rehash-the-season specials. (The Bravo ones disgust me, and yet, there I am, tuning in: “Work Out” Watch-What-Happens Special. “Top Chef” Watch-What-Happens Special. How dare they waste my time.)
