VH1’s SCREAM QUEENS Creepy Ass Clip – “Say Cheese”

I’m the first to admit that I am a B-A-B-Y when it comes to scary stuff. Books, movies, TV – no matter the genre – if its intent is to spook then I’m walking (or most likely running) in the other direction. I have way too active an imagination to deal.

I needed to share that info with you before I posted this truly horrifying clip from VH1’s “Scream Queens”. A little background – “Scream Queens” is a new reality show that pits wannabe actresses up against each other for a role in the next installment of the “Saw” franchise. Each week the contestants take on acting challenges to prove who has what it takes to be the next leading lady of the horror scene. Judges John Homa, James Gunn and Shawnee Smith* decide which actresses move on and which one get ‘the axe’.

Ok, now that you know all that, here’s the aforementioned clip that will surely be the cause of my nightmares tonight. Here the remaining contestants get info on their next challenge, courtesy of a special friend. It’s hella creepy.

I’m not usually a fan of VH1 reality shows. I probably would have never even bothered to check this one out if it wasn’t in support of James Gunn. But I actually kind of dig it. The challenges are really interesting, and I like the behind-the-scenes glimpses of the movie making process that we get each week. So far, the only stand out contestant to me in Tanedra – she’s the one with the least amount of experience and the most natural talent.

* Who knew Shawnee Smith was a big horror actress? Yup. She’ll always be pregnant teen, Rhonda, from “Summer School” to me!
