THE AMAZING RACE: Dan Can’t March

November 24, 2008 by

Since last night’s episode of THE AMAZING RACE was a non-elimination leg, there’s not much to speak of. But am I compelled to share with everyone the clip of Dan of Team Superbad trying to march alongside the Russian Army in one of last night’s Detours.  The kid says he has no rhythm.  I don’t think it required any rhythm to walk.  Just a teeny bit of coordination.

This was so funny.

It still cracks me up… I didn’t realize it was even possible to be that uncoordinated.

Totally hilarious. I could have watched that over and over. In fact, thanks to Tivo, I did. What a total goofball.

At one point, Dandrew said “people like to see underdogs win”. But these two clowns? Sure, I’d like them to stay in the game for as long as possible, if only for pure amusement… but to win it all? No way in hell.

It was actually painful to watch it last night. The more he talked about how he doesn’t have get musical rhythm, etc., the more I cringed. Does he not get that marching is the same as walking? You just do it to a certain beat? Yikes.

Dude, i always tought Dan was smarter but, that march was so retarded..it reminds me of when a robot is stuck against an obstacle…i wonder how much he can score on an IQ test…?

That was seriously the best thing I’ve ever seen. I definitely watched it over and over, and laughed harder and harder each time! What a goofball! I’m so glad you posted this because it totally brightened my Monday!

And I totally agree with Brad about the ‘underdog’ statement…Poor Andrew!

My husband and I laughed hysterically while Dan demonstrated his overwhelming lack of coordination. We tried to replicate his failed march but had great difficulty.
