Straight No Chaser Takes on Washington

The 10 men who have commanded my attention this holiday season just took over Washington.  Straight No Chaser (my recent musical obsession) performed at this week’s Christmas in Washington which aired Wednesday night on TNT.

They performed ‘Carol of the Bells’ as well as their version of ’12 Days of Christmas’ (which started it all).

And in this video, the SNC guys sing a little ditty for Wolf Blitzer.




SNC will be performing on The Today Show on Monday, and on Fox on the 24th (details after the jump).

SNC on The Today Show
December 22, 2008 at 8am – New York Straight No Chaser will be performing on The Today Show. They will perform 2 songs. 1 in the 8:30 -9am half hour and then again in the 10-11 am hour.

December 22, 2008 at 12:30pm – J&R Free event!

SNC on “Fox & Friends”
December 24, 2008 at 8:45am – Fox News Channel SNC performs around 8:50 AM live. Fox & Friends airs nationally on the Fox News Channel.

Cleveland Cavaliers Game
December 25, 2008 at 8pm – Quicken Loan Arena National Anthem and Half-Time Performance

Will they just come to Boston already?!

    Oh – on the second video, I love the old guy with the plate off to the side… he’s dressed like the group, but doesn’t have nearly the enthusiasm needed.

    On a sadder note, I can’t believe I watched a lame-o Lifetime movie last night instead of these guys! I didn’t know they were on! Waaaahhhhh!

    Oh, you’ve totally gotten me hooked on these guys! It’s ridiculous – when you posted a few weeks ago about them I watched the 12 Days video and loved it beyond all reason, and promptly watched every YouTube video of theirs, then bought their album! Now I’m rabidly converting all my friends to their awesomeness.
    So, thanks GMMR, I love these guys and it’s all your doing!!
