For this season i predict the youngest wife to become less naive and want to hold some power in the family besides being the baby maker.

I love the dynamics of this show! And i love how it depicts women to be powerful in a lifestyle where people stereotype that they hold no power.

  2. BK on January 17th, 2009 12:51 pm

I predict even more tension between Sarah and Heather. I think Heather will stick around, but there will be huge turning point in that relationship.

  3. Zoe on January 17th, 2009 1:29 pm

I haven’t seen the show, but I’m planning to watch when it returns. A bunch of my friends are into it, even my advisor at school is! (Basically, I feel like I’m missing something).
I’ve got a question for those people who do watch it: What makes this show different and unique? (I.e. Why should I start watching?)

  4. Michelle on January 17th, 2009 1:29 pm

I predict that Margene will get more power in the family. And that Sarah will gain more independence.

  5. Diana on January 17th, 2009 1:40 pm

I think that this year we’ll see more fallout from Bill having such high ambitions personally and professionally. He’s constantly trying to expand his business and his family and it will be interesting to see what this does to his existing family. I especially like to see how Ben and Sarah handle everything.

I’ve never seen the show since I don’t have HBO, but its been on my list of TV shows to catch up on with DVDs. I want to know how this guy makes it work. So many of the people I know can’t make marriages with one spouse work, let alone 3.

  7. Alyssa on January 17th, 2009 5:38 pm

I think Bill is going to try to marry that woman he wanted for his 4th wife (can’t remember her name!)

  8. maggie on January 17th, 2009 5:47 pm

I predict Nicki will FREAK OUT about Bill dating Ana… Similar to the stunt she pulled when everyone found out about her credit card debt. Ooh, and maybe Barb will discover that Nicki was never really trying to conceive! I love this show!

  9. maggie on January 17th, 2009 5:50 pm

Zoe, you should start watching because of the relationships between the characters. The family dynamics in this kind of setting? That’s something we’ve never seen before. It’s so intriguing. And it’s a great show to catch up on with DVDs — I always want to watch more than one episode at a time.

  10. Natalie on January 17th, 2009 6:09 pm

I watched the 1st season and felt soo bad for Barb at Mom of the Year. I promised I would watch 2nd season but have not been able to. I have seen the trailers for season 3 and I wish I had found time to watch season 2. But I predict Bill will get his 4th wife…and the drama is going to be great!

  11. Megan on January 17th, 2009 7:15 pm

I predict I am going to start watching this show as it airs, rather than later on Netflix!

  12. Trish on January 17th, 2009 7:30 pm

It’s been so long I had to read the last ep synopsis to catch up. I think the compound will be more in the news and we’ll see reaction of the community to the Henricksons. Maybe the store will suffer. The daughter, Sarah, is out of there. Hopefully Roman goes to jail. Hopefully Margie is in every scene. I love Ginnifer Goodwin 🙂

  13. Courtney on January 17th, 2009 7:51 pm

I’m new to the show. I saw part of one episode at the beginning, but I really haven’t seen it since. The show’s got a great cast, so I’d really like to get into it now.

  14. Alison on January 17th, 2009 7:58 pm

I have never seen this show, but it sounds really intriguing. Living that sort of life sounds impossible, but they make it work? I’ve gotta see it!

  15. Alex on January 17th, 2009 11:47 pm

I predict that Bill will use the drama at the compound to his advantage to gain even more power. So excited for the premiere!

  16. Beth on January 18th, 2009 12:38 am

I predict that Barb, Ben, and Sarah will all wander from the family as Bill becomes more and more focused on his business ventures and it will take quite awhile for Bill to realize that his singular focus on “getting ahead” is sacrificing his family.

I also predict that the tension will continue to build in all the interpersonal relationships in the way this show only can portray!!

  17. Jessica on January 18th, 2009 11:13 am

I believe that Bill will add Ana to the family, against Barb’s wishes. While Margie thinks she wants a 4th, I think once there is one, she’ll wish she there wasn’t, and she’ll regret the part she played in bringing Ana into the family.

  18. Mohammad Mirza on January 18th, 2009 1:16 pm

I’m new to the show, I really want to catch up and watch the show because it’s something original and different. Plus all the actors are great!

And several Veronica Mars veterans are on it! (Mac, Beaver, Lilly)
If that’s not reason enough I don’t know what is 🙂

  19. Alyson on January 18th, 2009 1:23 pm

I think we’ll see Margene assert herself more in the familial power struggle between wives. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her wish for a fourth wife convince bill to bring Ana into the family.

  20. Liz on January 18th, 2009 8:12 pm

I think that Nicki’s debt problems will escalate and cause a big blow-out. And I seriously doubt that things will work out with Ana, as much as I’d like them to.

  21. Erica on January 18th, 2009 9:31 pm

I predict that during this season of BigLove, Barb will become a bit unhinged, NIkki will get herself deeper into debt/family trouble before eventually becoming a mature adult, Marg will gain more power in the family dynamic and Bill will finally get a glimpse of how his choices affect his family, especially his children.

  22. Kathleen on January 18th, 2009 10:00 pm

I haven’t seen the show, but have wanted to because I’m intrigued by the polygamist theme and I’m also a fan of Chloe Sevigny.

  23. Tyler on January 18th, 2009 11:33 pm

I have not been able to watch this show due to my lack of HBO but I have heard brilliant things about it. I’m going to be staying with my friend for about a month and a half while her husband is out the country and since Big Love is her favorite show I need to catch up so that we can enjoy the show together. The fact that this show has brought my married friend to say “polygamy doesn’t seem so bad” has shot it to the top of my must see list.

  24. ann on January 19th, 2009 2:46 am

never seen this show, but i’ve heard great things about it & it looks pretty interesting. i like chloe as well! i don’t have cable so i’ll probably not get the opportunity to watch it other than through dvd. thanks for the great contest!

  25. Scooter McGavin on January 19th, 2009 10:09 am

Ben is gonna start hanging out with Roman, get himself a couple of girlfriends and try to take Margene from his dad.

  26. Stacie on January 19th, 2009 4:44 pm

I haven’t watched the show but I wanted to. I just didn’t want to start mid season when I had missed a bunch of episodes already. I love Bill Paxton and I have heard great reviews on this show.

  27. ck on January 19th, 2009 10:20 pm

Heather is going to come out to Sarah. She’s been bottling up her feelings for a really long time and seeing Sarah with Scott is going to push her over the edge. You heard it here first, booya!

  28. Cindi on January 20th, 2009 2:03 am

To be honest, I have never heard of this show until about a week ago! Now, I have been seeing ads for it everywhere and it sounds intriguing. It even talks
about an upcoming scene where they are all sitting at a table as if they are in the clouds. Please enter me in your drawing so I could see it from the beginning. Many thanks, Cindi

  29. Kaycee on January 20th, 2009 2:05 am

I have this odd feeling that Margene will leave the family. She may be tired of being the bottom of the totem pole. Excellent giveaway!!!

  30. MD on January 20th, 2009 3:49 pm

I think that something big is going to happen to Margene!

  31. Geri on January 23rd, 2009 9:18 pm

I’ve never gotten a chance to see this since I don’t get HBO so I have to discover their shows via dvd. I still haven’t even seen The Wire, even that’s near the top of my “Need to See” list. I think I’d enjoy this even though the concept is kinda out there because the actors are solid and it has great word-of-mouth.

It was just LOVE at first sight between me and this show. And you know what they say about LOVE……
After they stopped showing it in UK I felt heart broken, but recently I could join up with my love on Graboid and I don’t even feel like sleeping until I’ve caught up with the episodes I had to miss!!!
by the way how many episodes does season 2 have ??and what about season3??
