Tomorrow I’ll be talking with Craig Thomas and Carter Bays, the creators of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. I know there are a lot of HIMYM fans here on GMMR so I thought I would open it up to YOU. What questions would you like to ask the creators?

Heh… you should totally ask about a musical episode. It can’t be done with my other favorite shows (Office, Lost, Chuck, etc.) so I would love HIMYM doing it. 😉
Anyways, my question: With Ted’s 31st birthday coming up, will the story of the goat finally be cleared up? 😀
I absolutely love How I Met Your Mother! It is definitely my favorite show out right now.
Ok…I’m going to have to decide wisely as to what I want to ask…oh boy.
Was the plot line of the Season 3 finale (Ted getting into the car accident and proposing to Stella) written for the purpose of providing closure, on the chance that the show might have been canceled? Would Stella have been the mother in that case?
In the first season, Ted was supposed to meet his “dream girl”, but he backs out of the date because he thinks Robin is the one for him. Will this woman ever re-enter the picture?
It’s been over a year since the last slap in the Slap Bet! When can we expect the next one, and will it be as awesome as it was in Slapsgiving?
The show has so much great music. How do you go about choosing songs and pairing them up with scenes?
How is the return of Ted’s ex-girlfriend Karen going to play into these next several episodes?
I’m loving the progression of the Robin and Barney romance. Are we going to see some sort of resolution at the end of the season? What do you think about their dynamic?
Ok, I know that was a lot of questions, but I reeeeeeeally love this show…if that wasn’t obvious, lol. Can’t wait to read the interview!!!!
sorano916: I heard that the goat will be dealt with in the finale, or at least near the end of this season. Crossed fingers, I see the episode being awesome and legendary!
I’d like to know how they’re going to deal with Cobie and Alyson’s pregnancies the rest of the season. Are they really going to keep avoiding the issue?

Last season, I loved the episode where Barney was trying to figure out who his mysterious stalker was, but was a bit disappointed when it turned out to be Britney Spears. Since Britney was originally only scheduled to be in one episode, I would like to know what their original plan for the resolution of that story was.
How long do they see the show continuing once we have officially met the mother? Do they want to go through an entire courtship and end with the wedding, or birth of their first child?
