—–

Sarah and Casey put their lives on the live everyday in order to protect the Intersect, but today it’s YOUR turn to save CHUCK.

If you are a fan of CHUCK I’m going to need YOUR help in order to help save the show. No, I’m not asking you to send any miniature Buy More dioramas to NBC (although if you’ve made one I’ve love to see it). I’m just asking that you simply take a minute to tell others why YOU love the show and why they should give it a shot.  What the show needs more than anything right now is an increase in the viewership. Let’s recruit a few friends to watch the show during these last three episodes of the season.

Inside the Intersect
To help you spread the word, TV bloggers from all over the Web are their thoughts on CHUCK this week. Check out what they have to say about CHUCK and then pass on the links to your friends (and foes – we are equal opportunity around here) and encourage them to watch CHUCK at 8pm on Monday nights! I’ll be adding new links to this page daily so keep checking back for the latest. Click here: Inside the Intersect

But Wait There’s More…

There are a few simple things you can do right now to help spread the word of CHUCK. Consider me General Beckman…here’s your assignment.

Please save this show. I don’t watch a lot of television, but this show is one I have suggested to friends to watch. Don’t ruin the only good thing about Mondays!

Chuck is what gets me through Mondays. It is the perfect mix of comedy, action, angst, and topped off with the adorkable Zachary Levi. I LOVE it!

This was the first episode I’ve watched of Chuck, even though I’ve heard nothing but praise for it….I’ve had no good excuses for not watching before now, but I can tell you I will be squeezing it into my already overburdened schedule…I cannot get enough of Buy More and the Nerd Herd! Hilarious!” – Wally on “Chuck vs. The Broken Heart”

Read and then pass on all the wonderful CHUCK articles written by TV bloggers all over the web this week.  I’ll keep a running list of the shows all throughout CHUCK week.  They can be found here: Inside the Intersect

Thank you for this! 😀 I love Chuck as well and I’ll be doing my part to help it get a renewal. I’ve already converted most of my friends to watch the show and they all love it now. I hope more people will do the same.

  2. Sara on April 6th, 2009 10:21 am

C’mon. This show doesn’t even need words to be described!
    It’s freakin UNIQUE!
I don’t watch a show like Chuck in AGES! Centuries!
Canceling Chuck, besides being crazy, it’s totally unfair and a huge waste of talent.

Give it a chance, change the slot and promote more. Fans advice to NBC and Chuck has a big possibility of having another hit show!

Crying for an end to a TV show it’s ridiculous maybe. And I don’t mind being ridiculous if Chuck isn’t renewed.

I’m from Portugal and I watch it every week.. how obsessed am I?

  3. Emily on April 6th, 2009 10:53 am

    Thanks for doing this!

  5. Kelly on April 6th, 2009 11:22 am

Thanks for doing this, GMMR! It was because of this site that I decided to tune into Chuck when it first premiered and I’ve been hooked ever since. The past few episodes have gotten even more wonderful (more funny, more action, more drama – everything!) and I would hate to see it disappear just when it’s really hitting its stride. It would be devastating for this TV fan to lose another fave so soon after Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone. (C’mon NBC – be the better network!)

I’ll be doing everything I can to get people to tune in! This week’s episode seems like it’s going to be a great one for people to give it a shot.

  6. Todd on April 6th, 2009 11:46 am

It’s a no-brainer, This show MUST go on. I have watched every original airing since this show began, and I don’t do that for many shows. I have also held quite a few eps on my DVR to watch them again, and I don’t do that for ANY other show. Chuck has the perfect combo of Everything. If NBC can do anything to make up for good shows that have been cancelled, it would be to leave CHUCK alone.

  7. Joe on April 6th, 2009 11:47 am

GMMR – It was because of you I started watching CHUCK in the first place. I don’t know if you remember me but we met in the airport and you were watching it and we started talking about it. Now I watch all the time.

Yvonne is hot and the guys are really funny. I think the show is really cool too. Lots of action but really funny.

  8. shannon on April 6th, 2009 12:01 pm

I started watching Chuck recently because of GMMR. I trust Kath’s opinion and you should too! It’s a great show with heart, comedy, action, and the adorable Zach Levi. How much more could you ask for. I watched one episode and I’m hooked. I’ve been watching it all weekend just trying to catch up. My favorite part is Bartowski’s relationship with Sarah, his sister Ellie, and his best friend Morgan. Chuck is such a great guy who always tries to do his best and be there for them, even though being the intersect often gets in his way. So everybody needs to give it a chance, I guarentee you will love it!

  9. bubblewrap on April 6th, 2009 12:36 pm

There’s no doubt that Chuck is one of the best shows on right now. I’ve watched it from the very first episode and loved it ever since. I’m always amazed this show didn’t become a huge hit- whats not to like?! Chuck has to be renewed- my Mondays would be so empty without it

  10. deMarreis on April 6th, 2009 12:56 pm

Only 9 (10) now comment’s ?!?!?!? Ok you guy’s this ain’t good, Chuck and The Big Bang Theory are the Best 2 shows on TV imho!
So wheres the support people? How could anyone not like Chuck? It has everything, as previously stated by other’s here > “the perfect mix of comedy, action, angst” and beautiful girls, really cool tech devices, I could go on and on, its The Show the WWW should get behind!
    SAVE Chuck!!!!!
Oh and why don’t they use thebuy more to advertise products? seems like a perfect setup for ad dollars!!

  11. Marianne on April 6th, 2009 1:11 pm

Thank you, thank you for doing this! It’s heartening to know that other fellow Chuck fanatics love this show as much to get behind it to try and get a renewal.

The writing is sharp and funny, and the cast are wonderful in their respective roles. Chuck has been my lifesaver on Mondays, and I agree, that if people just give this fantastic show a chance that they will become fans. With the last few episodes of the season coming up, it would be a great time to tune in and check out what Chuck has to offer.
    Viva Buymoria!!!

  12. masarath on April 6th, 2009 1:15 pm

I love that you made this week “Chuck Week”. Chuck is a great show and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure it gets renewed.

  13. Kaci on April 6th, 2009 1:33 pm

I’ve been in love with Chuck since I first saw the leaked pilot online. It’s the only TV show I’ve ever bought off iTunes, the only show I cannot miss when it first airs. It’s a show that speaks to me, thorugh all it nerd-speak and great inside jokes. It introduced me to Zach Levi, who I might just have to hunt down and marry, because he’s just so darn adorable. Plus, it gave a Ryan McPartlin a return back to my TV screen, where I had missed him since his departure on the soap Passions.

    Awesome/

  14. RC on April 6th, 2009 1:45 pm

Chuck is the only one of my favorite shows that my husband is actually interested in watching with me. For that reason alone, it must be saved.

  15. KeyofG on April 6th, 2009 2:11 pm

Please do not cancel Chuck. Chuck is the only thing that can bring peace to the middle east.

  16. Jackie on April 6th, 2009 2:12 pm

This is one of my favorite shows..I would cry if it went off the air. This show must go on!

  17. StephanieP on April 6th, 2009 2:16 pm

I cannot imagine what a world without Chuck would be like! It always helps me to get through Mondays.

Using word of mouth IS an effective way to get people to watch Chuck. I started watching last year after a friend of mine told me about. Then this season I got another friend interested. Now all three of us get together every week and watch.

  18. Heather on April 6th, 2009 2:23 pm

Fact: Tere is no show on television that is more fun that Chuck. None. It’s funny. No, it’s hilarious. It’s also got drama, romance, action, sci-fi – pretty much every genre jammed into one amazing hour every week. The premise of the show may sound completely ridiculous to the Chuck virgins out there, but the characters and their relationships are just SO real. That’s what really seals the deal. Oh, and the music’s awesome, too.

Also, for those trying to convince others to watch Chuck – I recently lent a co-worker my season 1 DVDs, and he loves the show now. He told me that the reason he’d never watched before because he was always under the impression that Chuck automatically just knows every government secret (as in, not prompted by flashes, just always having every bit of info available to him at his convenience), which my co-worker understandably didn’t think would be that interesting. Other people perceive Chuck as a “poor man’s Jim Halpert”, to quote a friend, which really just goes to show that NBC doesn’t do the best job advertising. All I’m saying is, if we’re going to get more people to watch, maybe the most important part is to make sure people know what this show is about!

  19. Philboy on April 6th, 2009 2:31 pm

WE NEED TO SAVE THIS SHOW, PEOPLE! Like Kath said, Chuck is one of my bright spots and one of my can’t miss shows. I’m working on my heartfelt letter to the powers that be right now to get it saved, but until then, Herders like me need your help to keep it going! DO IT!

  20. Emily on April 6th, 2009 2:41 pm

I absolutely love that your dedicating a “Chuck” week. It makes me so gosh darn excited! I gotta say, I’ve been a devoted “Chuck” fan from the beginning of the show itself, and I’ve not missed an episode on TV. Ever. Which makes me sad to think I may miss next Mondays due to travel…BUT I will have it DVR’d and believe me, it’ll be one of the first things I watch.

The writing, the humor and the acting are all phenomenal for this wonderous piece of Monday. It definitely makes my Mondays a little brighter, and it helps me get through the rest of the work week to know a new episode is coming the following Monday!

And I totally agree, a re-run Monday, makes my life a little darker.

Can’t wait to curl up with popcorn, a blanket, and some “Chuck” tonight.

  21. Mandy on April 6th, 2009 3:05 pm

“Chuck” is a fantastic, hilarious show. Monday nights would not be the same without “Chuck”. I hope that it is picked up for another season. SAVE CHUCK!

  22. SB on April 6th, 2009 3:17 pm

This is definitely in my Top Five of TV shows on the air right now, and I watch a good amount of TV. I do usually DVR it but I watch it on Monday nights because it would hurt too much to wait for Tuesdays. I will DIE if it leaves me.

  23. Rich on April 6th, 2009 3:20 pm

I love Chuck, It is the best show on television. It has drama, comedy, romance spy action what is not to like. Sarah is the hottest woman on the planet and Chuck the everyday hero who is love with her sets this show apart. The writing and acting is top notch.

Give Chuck a chance. Soon you will be chatting on the boards with fellow Chucksters about the characters and the storylines. I am proud to say I am a Chuckaholic.

Please don’t let DWTS kill this show. Watch Chuck.

  24. Casey on April 6th, 2009 3:21 pm

From the very beginning, I knew Chuck was different from most other shows. It has the ability to be incredibly funny for half of a show and still be full of drama. The characters make you want to root for them (or against), and the plot lines never stray extremely far from what is reasonably possible (i the realm of the show). Chuck must be saved!!

  25. Phyllis Vance on April 6th, 2009 3:26 pm

Chuck is such a silly, sweet, lighthearted show that makes me happy on Mondays. Don’t take that away from me, NBC!

My roommate and I have invited friends over to watch tonight’s episode, and one of them has never seen the show before. I hope we get her hooked! Seeing as how I turned all my friends into Office-loving freaks, NBC should give me a little more time to work my magic on this show.

  26. Mel on April 6th, 2009 3:26 pm

Right on, GMMR! If only we could get every TV blog to devote a week to promoting Chuck! It’s such an amazing show – action, drama, comedy, romance. There’s nothing else like it on TV.

  27. Ashlee on April 6th, 2009 3:51 pm

“Chuck” is my favorite show because it has something for everyone. I can watch it with my husband, my little sister, and my parents, and in fact, sometimes we all get together to watch. Name another show that can intrigue people from the ages of 18-63 with its action/romance/comedy combo.

  28. Michele on April 6th, 2009 4:21 pm

I’ve already emailed NBC, but I will definitely step up my efforts a bit. Great chemistry, great acting, drame, comedy, action, romance, hotties of both sexes. What more can a tv show ask for? Seriously???

  29. celtic_gal on April 6th, 2009 4:21 pm

“Chuck” is absolutely one of the best shows of all time. I like a lot of TV shows, but knowing that “Chuck” will be on is what gets me through the week…

Please, make sure everyone you know is watching Chuck – everyone in my family ages 16 to 73, loves “Chuck”. Let’s get more people watching!

If NBC cancels “Chuck” because they think that they can find something with the “potential” of getting more ratings, then I’m going to be VERY upset. “Chuck” is the best.

  30. Laura on April 6th, 2009 4:22 pm

Chuck is one of two shows I watch consistently every week. It is one of the most unique shows on television. Not only that but the story and acting are superb. It can make me laugh one second and have my heart pounding the next. The story needs to continue another season! Please don’t cancel it.

  31. Josh on April 6th, 2009 4:24 pm

This is the best show on television. Even the shows that win all the awards sometimes have a bad episode. There has never EVER been a bad episode of Chuck. I’ve recently rewatched the series, and there really was not one bad episode. I would sacrifice every NBC show I watch for Chuck. Even 30 Rock and The Office. And that’s saying a LOT.

  32. Jeremy on April 6th, 2009 4:29 pm

There are few TV shows that are must-sees for me. In fact, right now it’s just “Lost” and “Chuck,” and it looks like the latter is in danger of not being picked up for a 3rd season. If you’ve never seen “Chuck,” check it out. It’s equal parts high action and sharp comedy — kinda like the love child of “Alias” and “Friends.” Above, all it’s escapism that’s both crazy fun and smart, making it infinitely more deserving of renewal than most shows currently littering the TV landscape (I’m looking at you, reality and scripted shows featuring over-privileged pretty people.)

  33. GG on April 6th, 2009 4:31 pm

SAVE CHUCK!!! This is one of the best shows!! It is a funny version of Alias and totally makes my Mondays. Pleae don’t cancel this great show!

  34. SaschaW on April 6th, 2009 4:40 pm

Thank you for those ideas. I`am from germany and there is a huuuge Chuck Fanbase over here. I really hope that the show will get a season 3 pickup because Chuck is funny, smart und has great Storylines.

  35. Lila on April 6th, 2009 4:43 pm

Believe it or not, Chuck has surpassed Lost, 30 Rock, and even The Office (gasp!) as the brightest spot on my TV horizon. I am garaunteed at least 7 LOL moments every episode, I am so wrapped up in the love story, and the action keeps my stomach in knots the whole hour. Not to mention the music. Oh, how I love the music selection on Chuck. I PROMISE that if you give it a chance, you will fall for this show!

  36. Sommer on April 6th, 2009 4:47 pm

Everyone should watch Chuck. It’s one of the smartest, funniest shows on TV. It has action and comedy. Chuck is a TV show that I’m excited about every week.

  37. CandyMaize on April 6th, 2009 5:07 pm

I heart ‘Chuck’!!! ‘Chuck’i s such a great show. It has a little bit of everything in it – comedy, action, drama. The show is very well-cast, including use of guest stars. The characters are all so likeable (even the love-to-dislike ones lol).

And even when the show ends on a note that gets me *right here* .. I’m still in a much better mood for having had my dose of ‘Chuck.’

  38. Anna on April 6th, 2009 5:12 pm

I came for Adam Baldwin, I stayed for the show. I love this show. Every Monday I am so glad to be able to sit down on my couch and watch Chuck. It’s funny and sweet and has a good story and the actors are wonderful in their parts. I LOVE CHUCK. NBC must pick it up for season 3.

  39. palais on April 6th, 2009 5:26 pm

I have been juggling my Monday tv all season, but I cannot live without my Chuck! NBC, you have saved 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights despite low ratings- you can save out show, which is more awesome than either of those ( ps- I watch Chuck live and save it to DVD- everything else I can find elsewhere.)

  40. reen426 on April 6th, 2009 5:27 pm

i’m not being bias when i say this show is very unique and great!…i’m an huge tv watcher…so, i seen almost every genre that’s been aired on network tv…but i’ve never seen a show quite like CHUCK…this show possesses all the right elements for a hit!…it’s got action, comedy, drama, romance and pop culture references for everyone…and the show actually pulls it off with all these elements!

to most viewers the cast might be unknown to them, but you’ve got to give this amazing and diverse cast a chance!…i’m pretty sure that this show can satisfy everyone’s taste because it doesn’t concentrate on one thing!…most viewers have never heard of the show or has a preconceived opinion on it…the basis of this show is that a nerdy guy gets sucked into the spy world accidentally…which results in a stunning CIA agent and a tough NSA agent to protect him from baddies…this is one of the toughest show to promote since it’s got such a huge basis to cover…it’s pretty hard to cover all these aspects in a 15-30 sec commercial…here’s a small preview of the show’s concept: http://chuckychuck.magnify.net/video/CHUCK-Fall-2007-avi

PLEASE—> if your one of the many people who’s heard of the show or seen all these “Save CHUCK” campaign on blogs, forums or reviews in the recent weeks…PLEASE JUST TUNE-IN TONIGHT OR THE NEXT THREE MONDAY’S AND SEE WHY WE’RE SO PASSIONATE FOR THIS SHOW 🙂 …it would really be unfortunate for this show to get cancel and then have you tune-in and realize what a great show this is…thank you for reading 😉 …and fellow chuckaholics keep spreading the CHUCK love!!!

  41. Anna on April 6th, 2009 5:31 pm

Chuck is the BEST. Hilarity, hijinx, action, gadgets. The world needs to know what happens to Chuck and Sarah. What happens to Ellie and Awesome. What happens to Morgan. What happens to Casey. These are the best, most relatable characters on any TV network, anywhere. Let’s face it, Monday’s already suck, but if NBC doesn’t renew Chuck, Mondays will be absolutely unbearable.

  42. fior on April 6th, 2009 5:34 pm

CHUCK MUST BE SAVED! It is one of the few shows that I sit down and watch, rather than on my DVR!

  43. Brenelz on April 6th, 2009 5:36 pm

This show has a great mix of everything the family needs. Everyone thought I was a geek for watching the show, but now my whole family watches it. Even watching repeats is enjoyable!

  44. Kristin on April 6th, 2009 5:43 pm

Please, please, please save Chuck! I watch this show EVERY week. It is not to be missed. Funny, sweet, and filled with adventure? What more could you ask for in a show. Chuck/Zachary Levi is adorably and is one of the best characters on TV. And Sarah and Casey? They rock…not to mention the rest of the cast. I look forward to this show every week and I really hope that the network people are not too stupid to realize that they should not cancel this show. (I tried to think of a nicer word than stupid, but canceling this show would be just that – stupid).

  45. Beena on April 6th, 2009 6:02 pm

Chuck is one of the only shows that every member of my family watches, and its one of the best-written shows on television. We’ve enjoyed every single episode, and I think everyone would find something about this show to love, from the action to the plots, to the amazing cast. Watch tonight’s episode, or go to hulu.com and watch all of the episodes. Chuck is a show worth saving.

  46. Jessica on April 6th, 2009 6:10 pm

The theme song is my cue to get up and dance. Does NBC want to take away my only guaranteed exercise?

  47. JennyL on April 6th, 2009 6:23 pm

CHUCK is a funny Alias, with more heart, and more characters to love. SAVE CHUCK!

  48. savina on April 6th, 2009 6:23 pm

Please save this show. It’s creative and original and probably one of the best shows on TV at this time. There is so little to watch, please renew this one.

  49. anu on April 6th, 2009 6:43 pm

Chuck really is one of the best shows on TV. I don’t watch many shows live anymore. Chuck and Lost are my must see live TV shows. Chuck is perfect TV for Mondays, as you try to get excited about yet another work-filled week. It has brilliant writing, great characters – both major and minor, and wonderful actors. I mean Zach Levi, Yvonne and Adam Baldwin are so great. It has heart, humor, drama and that genuine nerd/geek quality that makes you root for Chuck through it all.

I too have seen too many of my favorite shows killed thanks to network bottom lines. Veronica Mars and Pushing Daisies are the most recent. We can’t let that happen to another great show.

  50. PamelaJaye on April 6th, 2009 6:44 pm

I can’t even explain why I love Chuck so much.
    It’s my brother’s favorite show.
It’s y best friend who doesn’t watch Primetime Network TV’s favorite show (only thing she watches – and with her whole family
And for the next 4 eps, it’s got Scott Bakula too! (aforementioned friend and I are in heaven!)

Did you want that male 18-35 tech buying audience – this is it!

I’m a big fan of House, The Big Bang Theory, & HIMYM. I got an extra tuner card for my DVR to be able to record Chuck – and even then I watch it live, cause my DVR doesn’t do Digital but my TV does (wasn’t till last Thursday I found out a presidential news interruption hosed my recorded ep of Chuck from analog TV last week. good thing I checked)

There’s barely anything worth watching on NBC anymore – other than 30 Rock, this is it.

    SAVE CHUCK
(and then move it to 9pm please?)

  51. Jenna on April 6th, 2009 7:14 pm

BEST SHOW ON TV…PERIOD. I COULD NOT agree with your assessment or heartfelt seniment more when it comes to CHUCK. It is the ONLY show I WILL NOT miss. I have not watched a show regularly (I mean like HAD to watch a show regularly) since…man…probably since Friends! I WILL NOT MISS IT. I watch it live AND DVR it (although my roommates tend to stop the DVR often because they have another show that they want to watch and they know I will watch it live).

That’s presisely the issue. SO MUCH IS ON! Mondays are so full. Almost every show I watch is on Monday in the same, or close to the same, slot. It’s brutal. Chuck is the best, and most FUN, show on TV and there is NOTHING out there like it. It is so underapreciated it’s not even funny! NBC will break my heart (and MANY others) if they cancel CHUCK. WE LOVE CHUCK!!!! Don’t let CHUCK get away NBC!

For those of you who have yet to check out the show. DO IT. You won’t regret it. If you like fun, well written, well acted television there is nothing better out there! It has moments of laugh out loud humor, endearing characters, suspenseful moments, drama, romance, and great fight scenes. It has it ALL.

  52. petr on April 6th, 2009 7:16 pm

I love this show. It’s a love story (and I’m a cynic), its a spy story, its a comedy. Its not a cop show and its not a reality show. Somehow you want to take it seriously and yet the great thing is that you don’t have to take it serious. Its just plain old “Great Entertainment”.

    I’m in my 50’s – I love this show.
My daughter is in her teens – she loves the show.
My son is 21 – he loves the show (I still don’t believe it but he does).

Its truly a unique show that makes you laugh and look forward to Mondays. How often do you get that on TV?

Oh yeah, for any of you guys who may be undecided about watching, this show may be the only chance you get to use the words super hot, super sexy, weinerlicious, really sweet, reeeeaalllly gorgeous and Yvonne Strahovski in the same sentence. Trust me, she’s awesome.

Renew this show NBC! Shows like this don’t come along very often.

  53. clara on April 6th, 2009 7:26 pm

Why I love Chuck? Well, first of all because it’s REALLY fun. Why is it fun? Because of the brilliant mixture of comedy, action, drama, romance and thriller. Seriously, this show has it all. The characters are beyond lovable and the actors who play them are not only really good with the drama (Yvonne Strahovski’s face when she thinks Chuck blows up: genius!) but are great comedians too! Credit should go to the writers too for coming up with the most hilarious one-liners. Above all I think the show’s got a lot of heart. The characters and the relationships between them are interesting and compelling to watch, which is rare in TV nowadays with the invasion of reality shows.
Last but not least I think Chuck (and its fans) deserves another season because it’s a show with a lot of potential. Anyone who’s seen it from the beginning will admit that it’s gotten a lot better with time and I trust it will continue to grow. The story is not nearly done being told. The true reason behind Chuck being the Intersect, the development of the different relationships and the real story of Fulcrum, Bryce, Jill and Chuck and Ellie’s father among others provide enough material for a lot more episodes. And most importantly, we fans CARE about what happens so… give us a third season!

Simple recipe for a great TV show…..Action, comedy, romance, and 1 hour!!! I completely stopped watching network TV because so many shows were shoved at me in 22 minutes (sans commercials). When I watched Chuck I couldn’t help but enjoy the amount of time each episode had to develop. Been hooked ever since and you will be too. I know there isn’t much time but I got hooked by renting Season1 on Netflix and watching the whole thing in one weekend. Do it, and you will watch this show over and over again!

  55. Joyeful on April 6th, 2009 9:09 pm

This show is perfect. The comedy is hilarious, the action is great, the drama is nail-biting! The actors are all fantastic – and they’re all gorgeous! Chuck is the only reason I turn my TV on…SAVE CHUCK!

  56. Shannon on April 6th, 2009 9:21 pm

This show seriously needs to be picked up for another season. It blends comedy, drama, action and nerdiness to make one awesome package that is Chuck. Please please renew it!

  57. Amanda on April 6th, 2009 9:26 pm

PLEASE renew Chuck!!! I barely watch anything on TV anymore….but I NEVER miss an episode of this show. It is amazingly funny AND smart. The cast is terrific and loaded with talent. It balances humor, drama, action, a little bit of angst… I love that each episode could sort of stand on it’s own but there’s still a great mythology and longer story arcs.

This show is just now really hitting it’s stride. Tonight’s episode must have been one of my top favorite TV episodes ever. I LOVED it. It would be such a shame to have such a wonderfully written and acted show canceled.

  58. Logan on April 6th, 2009 9:37 pm

I enjoy Chuck for its lighthearted, tongue-in-cheek humor. I watch it with my family religiously and I look forward to the next season!

  59. andrew on April 6th, 2009 9:38 pm

Chuck is the best show on television!! I don’t have cable, but I go downstairs to the rec room in my apartment every monday to watch it!! its gotta get renewed…

  60. Rebecca on April 6th, 2009 9:46 pm

Chuck always makes me laugh. It’s not stressful or depressing like most other hour shows, and it’s something my boyfriend and I can watch together. There aren’t many network shows we both like to watch! We have the first season on DVD and really enjoyed it — it’s one of the last shows I watch on NBC (in fact, the only other NBC show I watch is The Office.)

  61. AstronomySnap on April 6th, 2009 10:00 pm

First of all, thank you for doing this. There are so many fans out there who feel like we’re not being heard just because we don’t have a Nielsen box!

Chuck is everything. Chuck is addictive. Just watch ONE episode and see if you can keep yourself from not watching another. All you need is 43 minutes out of your day. Pick any episode and watch it.

To those who have never watched: I know there has been some tv show, movie, band, food ANYTHING that you’ve thought you wouldn’t like, but you gave it a shot and loved it. Same with CHUCK.

It is a pop-culture nerd’s dream. And Im not talking overt family guy references. Like Adam Baldwin’s character Casey picking up a dvd of DC Cab for a second. Genius.

Comedy, romance, action, drama. This is one of those shows that when’s its gone and you discover it years later you are going to wonder why you were wasting your time watching DWTS and not supporting a RARE show that deserves to be recognized.

  62. Kimmy on April 6th, 2009 10:09 pm

I didn’t even know Chuck was in danger! This is really upsetting me!

Why do I love Chuck? Where do I begin?
    – Chuck is a great guy. Simple as that. And I want to marry him. Sarah who?
    – Casey can kick Chuck Norris’ butt any day.
    – Captain Awesome is AWESOME.
    – To get all mushy, the relationship between Chuck and Ellie is sweet. And ditto with Chuck and Morgan.
    – Nerds rock. And I love weirdos like Lester and Jeff.
    – The show has substance as opposed to all those crappy shows they call “reality tv”.

I wish I had some amazing philosophical thing to say about how much I love Chuck. All I know is that after watching it, I feel like all is right with the world. It’s a great escape!

  63. Cathy on April 6th, 2009 10:10 pm

I have loved all things spy since Alias, but this show is very different. I love the light heartedness of it all. it’s sweet, HILARIOUS, and smart. Mondays are a tough day to get through for everyone, and this show definitely helps me get through the day. I think Zachary Levi is adorable, Yvonne is a great actress, and the rest of the cast are spot on. I have recruited many-a-friend to this show and I know many people who would be upset if the show went off the air. This is the only show I watch on NBC…

  64. Jane on April 6th, 2009 10:55 pm

When I first heard about “Chuck,” I dismissed it as a “Jake 2.0” ripoff. But then they ran that teaser with Chuck, Morgan, Sarah, and the MacPro, and I was sold. I, like I’m sure many out there, hoard DVR episodes and re-watch them. I’ve got the first season DVD. “Chuck” may just have passed “Supernatural” as my favorite TV show currently on air (a tall order, to be sure). I definitely think the show deserves at least 1-2 more seasons to show us where they’re going with all this.

Oh, and I need my weekly fix of Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin.

    Unleash the Casey!

  65. Nx on April 6th, 2009 11:19 pm

I have to say this is the best show since Firefly…. We need to keep this show from going away, like Firefly did. This show is funny, cute, awesome and awesomer….

  66. CYNTHIA DRAN on April 6th, 2009 11:28 pm

I love the show ‘Chuck’, it’s such a fun, wonderful show, Zachary Levi is soo
delightful as Chuck, you should renew for a 3rd season, I look forward every
Monday for it to come and to have alot of fun watching Zachary Levi, so
pleeeaaase renew for the 3rd season!!!!

  67. SB on April 6th, 2009 11:42 pm

WOW, you guys! Great outpouring of support, keep it coming!

  68. Rabid rabid fan on April 6th, 2009 11:58 pm

Please renew Chuck NBC! It is the only show I watch on your network. And the only show I watch on TV. I used to be hooked to Gossip Girl until I stumbled upon my sister’s Chuck DVD and planned to watch it 1 episode a day (as my breaktime). By the second episode, I was hooked and watched the rest of the episodes in one sitting…I searched the net (youtube, comic con, zacharylevi.net, strahotski.com, sepinwall, televisionwithoutpity, chucktv.net), grabbed onto all the Chuck related things I could find….and lost my sleep and a huge part of my sanity to Chuck. Oh Well, those were the happy days!

The cast is amazing. Zachary Levi is so funny and i love that he is the only really sane person who kind of holds the Buy More together. And I heart Adam Baldwin… who plays the no-nonsense grumpy but also versatile (as in choir boy, salesperson, bonsai tree, 90’s DJ versatile) John Casey. And of course, I am just absolutely smitten with Yvonne Strahovski who is super beautiful and amazing as top CIA agent Sarah Walker. Morgan, Ellie, Awesome, Jeffster, Roan Montgomery, Gary Cole….Everyone is just awesome in this show!

It just sucks that I am not from the US and I don’t have that Nielsen box! Hell, I can’t even watch the latest Chuck on their NBC site or HULU! No way for me to show my support for Chuck except in this site.

Please renew it NBC! You made the right decision by picking up the full 2nd season…and it has been getting better and better. Please promote the show more, show those quirky and funny ads like in the first season (Chuck sandwich and Chuck-in-training). And, please, no more interruptions from Mr. President! My heart is so sad as it seems that everything has been put together to beat up Chuck in the ratings. Well, good thing my Chuck is such a great little fighter that it manages to stand up on it’s own…and yet, it hurts, it hurts me so bad 🙁

Okay, I hope I’ve done my part and I’ll be looking forward to doing more…more efforts, more begging, more drastic measures….I’m looking at you, NBC.

    HUgs and Kisses,

    Rabid rabid fan

  69. Crystal on April 7th, 2009 12:02 am

Chuck has wiggled its way into my heart. It is by far the most ADORABLE SHOW on TV. It’s hilarious and witty, but touching and relatable–even if a main plot point invovles is an intelligence agency built into the basement of a yogurt shop.

This show is unique and wonderful and it DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE. (Well, a third technically.) Everyone I know that watches Chuck loves it and everyone I know that doesn’t watch Chuck wants to. I have never heard a bad word about this show, and I doubt I ever will.

If it’s canceled, I will be beyond devastated. Please!

  70. Rabitongue on April 7th, 2009 12:12 am

Me like Chuck. Me Save Chuck. Me also like Sarah a Lot…

  71. Kacey on April 7th, 2009 12:57 am

Creative and hilarious — it’s the perfect balance of good ol’ fashion action and clean humour! The actors are fabulous and the show’s plot never lets me down. It’s really the only reason I can find to be giddy at the beginning of each week and my psyche dearly depends on it’s renewal. Please, save Chuck…

I’ve converted as many people as I possibly can to watch the show (though it’s a downer that the NBC site doesn’t work for us Canadians). We’re praying for a renewal but deep down inside we all kind of have a gut feeling that we’ll meet Chuck again next fall. It would be a crime to axe something this unique…

  72. Laura on April 7th, 2009 1:28 am

My boyfriend HATES almost all TV, and when I first started watching Chuck last year, I absolutely knew he would love it. And I was absolutely right. We never miss it, and it’s great knowing that I can share my love of TV with him during at least one hour each week. If someone who hates TV (for being what he thinks is a waste of his time) thinks Chuck is brilliant and worthwhile, don’t you think you would too?

  73. Alex on April 7th, 2009 2:29 am

We’re also working on getting a 3rd season from Spain!
    Best show now so far!.

  74. Alice on April 7th, 2009 2:42 am

I’m from New Zealand, where we have barely any local programming or quality imported shows due to a lack of funding. As a result, we are constantly bombarded with rubbish American reality TV and out of date scripted shows which have usually been canceled before we even get them. The only shows I have ever bothered to watch over the last six years have been Bones, NCIS and Cold Case.
So imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to turn on the telly one day and see Chuck – a brilliantly funny, well written piece of entertainment! All the elements of my favourite shows are there – well-developed characters, fun, romance, excitement, thrills… I can hardly contain myself until Wednesday nights – and yes, I’ve recorded every episode for future reference. 🙂
For the love of every New Zealander who ever thought reruns of The Simpsons and Dawson’s Creek was all we would ever get on our paltry 3 national channels – please, please, please don’t can Chuck!!!

  75. Seraphim on April 7th, 2009 3:35 am

I kinda made the same experience as some of you. When you only describe what the story is about all my friends said that it didn’t sound interesting at all. However after lending season 1 to them it only took them less than 1 week to see the entire season and to ask for more. So 2 of my freinds are Chuck-addicts like me as well now – still there are some more to go >:-)

The show itself is just fantastic and I would be very sad to see it canceled.

  76. Shauna on April 7th, 2009 3:49 am

    SAVE CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the good shows always get taken of the air. Everyone that I know that watches loves it. If it’s the time slot, which i know it is because i have to watch it because i’m dvring 2 other things, then just move it to another slot. It’s such a great show it’s followers will stay with it. My mom and i are going through a very hard time right now and Chuck is the time we can sit together and laugh and relax. Please save it!!!

  77. Vanessa on April 7th, 2009 4:23 am

    SAVE CHUCK!!!
This is one of the best shows on television – it has it all: comedy, action, drama, and REAL character development. There is still so much that could be done with this show and it’s amazing characters. Compared to some of the other shows out there, I just don’t understand why Chuck hasn’t been renewed yet!
    TO NBC: SAVE CHUCK!!!

  78. nick on April 7th, 2009 10:14 am

  79. dri on April 7th, 2009 11:08 am

what is nbc going to replace chuck with? ANOTHER cop drama, oh no, wait, that’s southland on thursday. i can’t think of a better lead-in to heroes on monday nights, and it’s the one thing i look forward to on mondays.

and it’s refreshing to have josh schwartz write a non-stereotypical/rich people/hipster show (ie. the oc, rockville, gossip girl). i prefer his witty banters and awkward chuck situations with blowing up cars, hot chicks, and can’t beat big mike!

    i <3 nerd herd.

  82. Vanessa on April 7th, 2009 12:28 pm

After years of being a complete nerd, I actually got up the guts to go to my first con because of Chuck (T1, which is partially a Chuck con anyway). I would be devastated if we lost it, there’s nothing quite so much fun around these days. If they can keep bringing back reality crap and stupid one joke sitcoms, why can’t they bring back something as incredible, original and fun as this?

  83. AgentPhunk on April 7th, 2009 12:46 pm

I watch exactly 1 hour of TV per week. Guess which show? CHUCK is awesome, PLEASE PLEASE pick up Season 3. My only concern is how fast the plotline is moving – I hope they don’t burn out the Fulcrum or Orion angles too quickly. Keep up the great work!

FWIW: Male, 35-40, Boston area. I sometimes watch online but usually its on WHDH.

  84. keg711 on April 7th, 2009 1:48 pm

Chuck is one of the few shows on TV that both my husband and I agree to watch together. The characters are so likeable and despite the same premise week after week, the stories are still compelling and make us watch religiously. This show has been a sad victim of scheduling (what show can survive against DWTS??!!). Please don’t kill the Intersect! Just move it to a different night! SAVE CHUCK!

  85. anne on April 7th, 2009 2:55 pm

In a world of doom and gloom, it makes no sense for NBC to cancel a bright, sunny, funny, optimistic show like CHUCK. People need some ‘feel-good’ shows and if we dont find them on NBC,we’ll have to go elsewhere.

  86. PamelaJaye on April 7th, 2009 2:57 pm

just now I took all my bravery in hand and posted my very first post to the you-better-get-it-right place: Whedonesque

  87. Graham on April 7th, 2009 3:01 pm

Chuck is upbeat and funny! It has action and comedy with plenty of nerd fare. I love the pop references.. Star Wars, Indian Jones. This show reminds me of Remington Steele another classic! We love you Chuck!!!

  88. eukey on April 7th, 2009 3:22 pm

CHUCK is one of the few shows I make sure I’m home to watch live. And I save it on my DVR to watch over again. Please renew this show!

  89. Carissa on April 7th, 2009 3:44 pm

I love this show! I don’t want to lose it. I can’t watch it at the time it comes on, because of work, but I always watch it later on hulu.com. I hope that isn’t affecting any decisions that might be made.

    Please save my show!

“Chuck vs. the Dream Job” legt die Latte hoch…

  91. duceolsen on April 7th, 2009 4:35 pm

This is practically the only show my wife and I bear with the commercials to watch on tv, because my wife always wants to know what happens next as soon as possible.
Anything else we watch is generally downloaded so we don’t spend an hour watching a 35 minute show.

  92. sully on April 7th, 2009 7:10 pm

Chuck (along with another NBC show, Life) is the only show that I watch live. I settle in at 8pm for an hour of fabulous television. This show is the perfect mix of comedy, drama, action and adventure. The characters are well developed, the plot line moves along and the comedy is perfect! It would be such a shame to lose this gem…

  93. Karina on April 7th, 2009 7:19 pm

SAVE Chuck! It is a fantastic hybrid of comedy, action, and heart with a zillion great little movie reference jokes to enrich the proceedings. Also: WHAT A CAST!

  94. @chiniehdiaz on April 7th, 2009 7:30 pm

Chuck is by far one of the most entertaining TV shows of all time. Here’s a thought. Why don’t we ask the big guns at Twitter to help us get it renewed? Let’s start a contest to see who can come up with the most persuasive tweets. 🙂 Here are a couple for starters:

@aplusk Pls help us get #Chuck renewed. If you do, we’ll re-watch all your movies – even “Dude who stole my car”

@jimmyfallon Pls help us get #Chuck renewed. If you do, we’ll stop comparing you to Conan.

    You get the drift. LOL!

  96. buymore_comedy on April 8th, 2009 12:07 am

I don’t even know where to begin in explaining my absolute obsession with this show!!! I will tell you that however fun the Wii is to play, when I have friends over, I eventually make them sit down and watch parts of Season 1 with me. And they are hooked almost instantly!
This show is one of the most interesting and well written and “plotted” shows I have ever encountered. But, it’s not as serious as your typical James bond spy work. Its full of Buy More comedy featuring the absolutely hilarious characters Morgan, Jeff, Lester, Emmett, Big Mike, … And somehow they always manage to tie Chuck’s cool missions into the goings-on at the buy more. The reason the show is truly struggling to get viewers is because it is competing with House, Gossip Girl, Big Bang Theory, Himym, and DWTS. I mean what a line up!! On ANY OTHER night, Chuck would be performing phenomenally. It just needs a little nudge to a wider audience who will truly fall in love with the show.

  97. Jason on April 8th, 2009 1:01 am

Chuck must be saved, this is one of the unique shows out there with a fantastic cast and superb acting. Chuck saved Monday nights, now it is our turn to save Chuck. Season 3 must happen, this is one of the best shows on tv right now.

  98. Simon.N on April 8th, 2009 2:00 am

  99. Jamie on April 8th, 2009 8:27 am

SAVE CHUCK! Although the ratings are great now… I challenge anyone who haven’t seen the show before to try it out and not love it. It has a compelling storyline, a unique blend and balance of comedy and action, and a great cast. I think that this show has a lot of potential and would be able to grow to “great heights (in the nielsen ratings) if not for the situation it is in (it’s in the single most competition timeslot in tv)… so NBC… please listen to us and renew this AWESOME show!

For all the people out there: BE A NERD, JOIN THE HERD! SAVE CHUCK!

  100. Josh on April 8th, 2009 3:33 pm

THEY CANT CANCEL CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!! That is all i have to look forward to on mondays! I watch it EVERY monday that it is on! And i watch it on line all the time. After i watch it on tv on monday, i watch it online tuesday! I LOVE this show! It is BY FAR my favorite show on tv!!!
If they canceled it my Mondays would be ruined!! and then i would have a crappy week…because all weel o look forward to seeing Chuck on Monday!
Chuck is the only reason i watch NBC. If chuck wasnt on NBC then i wouldnt watch it at all. Sometimes i watch hero’s and Medium, BUT i wouldn’t if Chuck wasnt on there!!

  101. Liddy on April 8th, 2009 3:37 pm

I will be brokenhearted if NBC doesn’t renew Chuck. Seriously, Chuck and The Office are my appointment television. I don’t answer the phone, don’t even move during the commercials. I watch my S1 DVDs over and over again. My parents are even hooked on this show. I swear to god, if NBC doesn’t renew Chuck, every single piece of copier paper at NBC/Universal will have the F word. The F word. You have one day.

  102. Karen on April 8th, 2009 3:42 pm

I am also in my 50’s and have never loved a show ,ever, like I have Chuck. My whole family gets together to watch it every Monday and they all would be disappointed if it got cancelled. I would be heartbroken. The writers are amazing and the cast does such a great job bringing to life the writers visions. Zachary Levi is Chuck, I can’t imagine any one else doing the character justice. Hope we get to see what they can create together for many, many years.

  103. Ron Aaron on April 8th, 2009 3:48 pm

I love Chuck! It’s one of my favorite shows on TV. I’m in my mid 40’s and my teenage kids love watching it with me. It reminds me of Get Smart with a modern twist. The writing is amazing, and I love the music choices for the show. Whoever finds these songs is a genius. I bought season 1 dvd set. Please keep Chuck going, and going…..

  104. GFlynn on April 8th, 2009 3:53 pm

I so enjoy this show. A far cry from all the non-reality “Reality” shows. It’s fun to watch the action and romance. Give them another season to grow!

  105. Mary on April 8th, 2009 3:55 pm

Please don’t cancel Chuck!!! It is one of the coolest shows on TV. I am a crime show junkie (ususally CBS) but I totally blow CBS off for this show on Monday nights. Why would you take the only good thing that NBC has going for them? That would be suicide. Advertise it more and maybe more people would watch!! It is a show that I love to watch with my son. More kids would get hooked if they advertised on some kid channels. What would an ad on Nick or Disney hurt???? KEEP CHUCK AND KEEP YOUR VIEWERS HAPPY!!!!

  106. Dio on April 8th, 2009 4:48 pm

Chuck is indeed the best show on TV. It’s sweet, funny with bits and pieces of action, suspense, drama but above all great characters and a good story. The acting is top notch and so is the writing. Oh and the music is awesome. I think just by watching this show I got into at least 5 new bands eh! It’s a show that seems to be for the whole family and I think it’s rare for a scripted show these days. Eh, a show that good is rare period! This show is UNIQUE.

    Please keep Chuck going! 🙂

    Thanks!

Is there anyone else that thought of the city in the clouds [bespin] when Chuck was sneaking into RI . Even his hair made me think of Luke getting ready to walk into a trap at the end of empire . The outfit too . That’s a small part of what makes this show great . I know some people see some of the pop culture references as copying , but i refute that by saying that they are simply paying homage to not only the writers and actors who helped define their vision , but also to their fan base who enjoy “catching’ those references to movies and shows that we have all seen and love .references like “those seven years of mcguyver finally paid off ” , or just before it when chuck can’t reach his phone [chuck vs the sensei] and says ” use the force Chuck”

Chuck has an intelligent fan base and that’s a good thing because the show is so smartly written , that some dummy could never follow it . This show likes to plant a seed in one episode and let it sit till u just about forget about it and then boom ! You are sitting there completely shocked until u think back a couple of eps and realize that they told u it was going to happen in a very vague way . Just like I believe that Chuck will find his dad on that private island that rourke bought and followed that announcement with “don’t visit” . Just a guess .

If u haven’t seen chuck I highly recomend it , as it is the best written acted and scored show on television currently , if not ever ! Viva La Buy More

And the music covers as much ground as the show itself , it is so diverse and ranges from the 50’s to tomorrow , also has a great score .

  108. MstHuntr28 on April 8th, 2009 7:56 pm

Chuck is show that just needs to stay around. On top of the fact that Chuck is unique, its actually fun to watch. In a world of doom and gloom, everyone needs a little more fun. So keep Chuck around.

  109. PJ on April 8th, 2009 7:59 pm

Chuck is without a doubt one of the best written shows, best shot, and has the best actors out there. Its fan base is one of the most passionate people I have met. The premise of the show is completely new and speaks to a wide range of demographics. Chuck should stay on the air!!

  110. chuckfan11 on April 8th, 2009 8:36 pm

They can not cancel this show!! I have not missed an episode and i have been watching ever since the very first episode when the Nerd Herd car was racing through the streets of Burbank. My theater teacher told us about Chuck before it came out because she worked on the set. So please do not cancel this show or i will boycott NBC!!!

  111. Hayley on April 8th, 2009 9:10 pm

Please please please save the show! I absolutely love the show!!! Granted, I only just got into it this weekend, but it was a full chuck weekend (as in total immersion, watch all episodes back to back weekend), and oh my god, it is such a fantastically written show, great character development, a little bit of everything for everyone, and if they don’t renew it, it will be a terrible waste and proof that networks don’t know what good tv is. Not too mention an extra hour of terrible reality TV every week. SAVE CHUCK!!!!!

  112. Thom on April 8th, 2009 9:28 pm

This is a must see for both me and my wife and she hates spy shows. I’m not allowed to watch it with out her, which means on board meeting nights, which are Mondays, I have to wait until she gets home and watch it on the DVR when she gets home. They can cancel Medium, and although I’d be upset I could even deal with loosing Heroes but leave me my Chuck!

  113. palais on April 8th, 2009 9:35 pm

No dioramas, but a lot of heart and love and my own constant blogging a tweeting. Chuck is the best one hour on television, and I can’t imagine not getting my Zac and Adam fix every week.

NBC- do the right thing. You saved Friday Night Lights and gave it two more years. This show is way cooler and better.

  114. Rachel on April 8th, 2009 10:56 pm

My boyfriend randomly picked up season 1 of Chuck a few months ago at Best Buy (tee hee) and we’ve been hopelessly hooked since then. We’ve managed to catch up through season 2 and just cannot imagine Mondays without Chuck/Sarah/Casey/Morgan/Ellie/Awesome. Not to mention Big Mike and the rest of the Buy more. This show is original, has snappy writing, even snappier music and is one of the best shows out there. We gave up watching (and DVRing) House because of Chuck. Considering we’ve been faithful to House all these years, that says something! The week just won’t go as smoothly if I don’t start it with Chuck!

  115. Mandy on April 8th, 2009 11:01 pm

I love Chuck. I don’t even watch much TV but this show is great. I can’t see why NBC wouldn’t renew it. Please don’t cancel Chuck!

“Chuck” is one of the best shows on television. Why? Because you go away with a smile on your face, that’s why. The writing is smart, the casting is perfection and the cinematography rivals films! Save Chuck!

  117. Boyd on April 8th, 2009 11:13 pm

Hello, I would just like to share a small portion of the speech I delivered to my college class today on why I believe everyone should watch Chuck:

I think a lot of the show’s charm comes from how relatable the characters are. Despite saving the world on a weekly basis, Chuck is just a normal guy who loves video games, is really into music, and reads comic books. He tries to do the right thing in every situation and saves the day in his own unique, nerdy way. Additionally, there is something in the show for everyone, with elements ranging from action to comedy to romance. “Chuck” holds a special place for me personally because it is high quality, good natured fun that gives me something to look forward to every time a new episodes airs. If anyone decides to give this show a chance, I hope that you come to love the characters as much as I do and can share in my passion for “Chuck.”

  118. Give Me My Remote on April 8th, 2009 11:15 pm

WOW! They let you say all that in math class, Boyd?!

Ha ha. Thanks for the comment – what class was this?

  121. Nick on April 8th, 2009 11:59 pm

When Chuck first started out 2 years ago, i viewed it nothing more as a filler until Heroes, but that view has changed. Since then it has become my absolute favorite show, with an amazing cast and an interesting plot its my favorite show on TV right now. Please save it America!!! Also NBC if your going to cancel a show like Chuck, why dont you just finally cancel SNL, and whats next 30 Rock the following season? Sorry to go a little off track, but please SAVE CHUCK AMERICA!!! It’s funny, unique and very refreshing.

  124. Kristina on April 9th, 2009 12:09 am

I am a fan of television and I have to say that Chuck is most definitely in my top 3. I’m very nervous at how long NBC is taking on making a decision to keep this show for next season. So decision makers at NBC if you’re reading this:

In my short 23 years, I have watched my fair share of television. I tend to like the more unique shows, the underdogs if you will, so I’ve seen many shows I love end far too soon. But I don’t think any show’s fate has affected me as much as Chuck’s has. I go to EW.com each day expecting to hear news on the show’s progress, and with each passing day of not learning anything, I first sigh in relief that there’s still a chance and second get really nervous because there’s an equal chance I won’t be watching Chuck, Casey, Sarah, and all the other fantastic characters in the fall.

This is one of the few shows on television where I watched the very first episode and kept watching. I have never missed an episode of Chuck. I always try to watch it live on Monday nights because I don’t own a TiVo. And if I miss it, I always catch it on Hulu. And if Hulu doesn’t work because sometimes it doesn’t at my house, I’ll go so far as buy the episode off iTunes. I bought the Season 1 DVD, and I eagerly await Season 2 (I love the commentaries). I am not a Nielson viewer and I fear that many Chuck fans aren’t and that’s why the ratings are low.

I really enjoy every single character on the show, even Emmett. The chemistry between the three main actors is amazing to watch and the show has one of the best supporting casts on television. Every character is worth the air time given to them. I’m hopeful that you at NBC will listen to the fans of this show. Because we may not seem like a lot but I believe there are more of us out there than you know. We are a devoted group and we hope that you take us into consideration when deciding Chuck’s fate.

    Hoping for a third season,
    Kristina M.

  125. Boyd on April 9th, 2009 12:23 am

It was for a general education speech class. Our assignment was to give a persuasive speech on any topic, so I decided to go with the noble and worthy cause of supporting Chuck.

  126. James on April 9th, 2009 12:32 am

I really wish that NBC would have gave Chuck an early renewal and canceled their disaster of a show they call Heroes, Seriously why is Heroes still on TV?!?!
    Chuck is awesome!!

  127. Gordo on April 9th, 2009 2:34 am

NBC made a major faux paus by not putting CHUCK on after the Super Bowl w/ the 3D episode. They had a chance to market the 3d w/ the episode, and follow it up with an episode the following night as well. On top of that NBC needs to put Chuck in a better time slot.

Chuck is a unique comedy that has really hit its stride this season. Not giving it another season would be a major shame. At the very least, I would hope that NBC could try to arrange something like they have done w/ Friday Night Lights so that maybe DirectTV can help w/ costs and continue the show longer. NBC is already throwing in the towel by giving up the 10 o’clock hour. To give up on good shows is just poor management.

  128. Lucila on April 9th, 2009 3:18 am

Chuck is so great because he really is like a regular guy thrown into a very freaky situation – something we can relate to! Ok, ok, I’m not saying all of us have intersects in our heads, but it does show what happens to a regular Joe when his life is completely changed – and how he, himself, remains unchanged. He still is the sweet, caring guy he was at the beginning.

Plus, they just CANNOT end the series after this week’s episode 😉 There is still SO MUCH that needs to be told!

  129. ShutUpRob on April 9th, 2009 3:43 am

Since Warner Brothers produces Chuck, it would probably help to send letters to Peter Roth, president of Warner Entertainment at

    Peter Roth
    President, Warner Brothers Television
    300 Television Plaza
    Burbank, CA 91505

And, perhaps stick a “Save Chuck” sticker in that letter-strip lettering that’s the logo onto the letter that you send them.

    — Rob Jensen

PS: Since this is a Warner-produced show, I wonder if this could be one of those rare shows that could be ‘ported over to the CW. Seems to me that, with its high romantic-comedy quotient, it’s a better fit for The CW than the vaguely-similar-but-increasingly-vulgar Reaper ever was.

  130. Emlyn Freeman on April 9th, 2009 4:32 am

CHUCK is one of the best shows currently airing. It’s smart, sexy, funny, with great action and great surprises. The cast is impeccable — unlike most shows, there isn’t a weak link among them — as well as their use of guest stars. I’ve been in love with this show since BEFORE it aired, when the pilot leaked onto the internet, and I never miss a week. It gets better and better, with deeper mythology (while never going so far as to alienate the casual viewer), smarter jokes, more tightly-woven A, B, and C-plots, and better fight scenes — who didn’t love seeing Yvonne Strahovski fight inside a car? Give CHUCK a chance, and it will grow… and grow… and grow…

  131. Paul Fisher on April 9th, 2009 6:17 am

    SAVE CHUCK!!!!

    Best show on TV period.

Best of all – Chuck and Sarah – a will they/won’t they relationship thats probably the sweetest, most honest on TV. My view – Chuck is the new Buffy – don’t let it go away!

  132. Greg on April 9th, 2009 7:14 am

I cannot believe, once again, that NBC is considering killing another fantastic show! It started with Studio 60, and now they are considering Chuck? In this age of reality shows (pretty much all of which are terrible), they found a unique idea. On top of that, it has a great cast, particularly Levi, Yvonne, and Adam, and is extremely well written. It creates the old “Moonlighting” tension between Chuck and Sarah. It is funny, it has moments of great drama, and is absolutely the best show on television.
I hung in after the cancellation of Studio 60…I even hung in when they let Scrubs go to another network. If NBC cancels Chuck, I can’t imagine I’ll ever watch anything on the network again.
Thanks for allowing us to post…..

  133. Nicki on April 9th, 2009 7:40 am

Cancel Chuck? They just can’t!! I love Chuck, Sarah, Awesome and the whole gang. But to do without Casey’s cracks every episode would be something I’d miss badly!!! He gives me that LOL moment every week. This is one of the few shows on TV that I even care about watching. I currently have 4 episodes saved on the DVR for re-watching. I don’t do that for anyone else.

Can someone tell me why they keep canceling good shows? There have been several that had so much potential these past two years. And Chuck has so much more to explore!!

  134. Gary on April 9th, 2009 8:57 am

Chuck is one of the best shows on tv right now. It’s actually funny, compared to other so-called “comedies” airing these days. There’s never a bad episode. The writing is also pretty clever. It’s not your run of the mill cop/lawyer/doctor show. Plus, for the guys, Sarah and Ellie are hot. For the ladies, look no further than Devon Awesome. If NBC can (waste) give Leno 1 hr 5 times a week (to do what?), then it can give Chuck the Monday night time. Chuck is funnier than that other late Thursday program the so-called “critics” claim is great (rhymes with Dirty Hawk). Action! Spies! Drama! Romance! Laughter! NERDS! Chuck’s got it all! give Chuck a chance!

  135. Jack Straw on April 9th, 2009 9:09 am

Chuck is the best show on tv! It is funny, original and dramatic all at once. It is the only show I can get my husband to sit down with me and watch. He loves it to. Save The Herd!!!!

Chuck is an AWESOME show and Monday nights wouldn’t be the same without it. It’s different, and has the perfect mix of something for everyone. Love story for the girls, hot women for the guys lol…techie stuff…spy stuff….everyday idiot comedy….What’s not to love?? PLEASE SAVE THIS SHOW!!!

  138. Jessica on April 9th, 2009 9:30 am

Chuck is my favorite show on TV. If it’s not renewed, I don’t know what I’ll watch anymore! Probably not NBC. Please renew Chuck!!! The last episode was such a gamechanger. I can’t even imagine what happens in the last 3 or 4 episodes left! I can’t wait! And I can’t wait to see where this will lead for Season 3! As far as I’m concerned there IS going to be season 3. Got that network?!

  145. Carson on April 9th, 2009 12:43 pm

Chuck is a great show! It’s time slot is horrible (between Big Bang Theory, House an Dancing they are splitting the same demographic too much) but the show just gets better and better. I know Leno’s show is sucking up 5 important hours of prime time, but losing Chuck will be a terrible blow to the line-up. Quality needs to be supported! MASH, Cheers and Seinfeld were not hits for the first few years, yet they stayed on the air because the were quality programming – and that is unfortunately uncommon even (especially!) today. With the money you make from product placement, it can’t be that expensive to produce. NBC, keep Chuck!

  146. Kelli on April 9th, 2009 1:02 pm

Chuck…Casey…Sarah…Morgan…Ellie…the Captain…Big Mike…Lester…Jeff… General Beckman…. they bring people laughter and happiness week after week. In these sad times, isn’t that what we need?
    Bring back “Chuck”!! Please!

  147. rbb0420 on April 9th, 2009 1:17 pm

I just read this whole list and if the NBC and Wb execs could be sent a copy of just this web page they would instantly change their position of “i don’t know” to full bore CHUCK mode . There is a hit about every ten minutes during daylight hours , and it is only chuck fans [no detractors] , my guess would be that very few of us actually know of this post , so to have this kind of input and outcry is pretty “AWESOME” to say the least .

  148. Sarah on April 9th, 2009 1:17 pm

Most of what my husband and I watch on TV is stuff that he loves first and then I get into. Chuck is the one show that I demand that he DVR for me every week.

I need my Chuck fix. I can relate to him in that I have bigger dreams but I feel I’m constantly stuck in a rut. It’s good to see a fictional character that I can relate to. I love the plots of each episode so far and the plot twists.

This show is laugh out loud funny and I think it would be unfair to cancel. Please don’t take Chuck away from us!

This is the one show that I watch live, then end up buying on iTunes anyway. Hilarious, heartfelt, and a killer soundtrack to boot. Tune in, people! This is as much fun as you can possibly pack into an hour of television.

  151. Connor on April 9th, 2009 3:33 pm

I had never heard of this before this past weekend. My brother came down and showed me the whole first season. And after that first episode i was hooked. After school i would get home and watch all the episodes on the internet until finally i caught up and saw the monday night episode.

I think the main problem is the time slot. My parents always watch dancing with the stars and im sure thats similar for many other people. The show was so great that when i started seeing that there might be a possibility of it ending i was shocked. I never believed that a tv show that could hook me so deep in one hour could be going down. But i am assuming that the reason is, is the same reason i had. I had never heard about it. If we can spread one episode of Chuck to everyone, this would be the most popular show on tv.

Chuck has a wonderful, talented cast, funny writers, and me as a loyal viewer! I discovered the show late last year but caught up by buying all the episodes on iTunes. Stop the senseless canceling of great shows! Chances are the replacement you choose for it will suck anyways!

It’s bringing great publicity for them and if they stopped production of Chuck, they would lose sooo many viewers!!!!!!!!! 166. Tiffany on April 9th, 2009 11:35 pm

I’m going to admit that I watch a lot of TV shows, and Chuck is BY FAR my favorite show (out of all those past AND present). The scripts are so well written each week, the acting is superb, and it just keeps getting better and better! Most shows seem to deteriorate each season, but Chuck is amazing every time. Every time! I love Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin and Yvonne Strahovski. Zachary is perfect – he makes the show. But Adam and Yvonne are also brilliant. Please, I’m begging NBC not to cancel the show!

  167. Jazz on April 9th, 2009 11:56 pm

Out of all the shows i watch (which are a lot!!), Chuck is the only show i look foward to the most. My Monday’s are not complete with Chuck at 8 pm to suck me into the life of Charles Bartowski and won’t be if this wonderful show is cancelled!! Zac Levi is hilarious, Yvonne Strahovski is brilliant, and words cannot describe Adam Baldwin’s performance. Every week, the episodes are funnier and more clever than the last, which I didn’t think was possible. I already lost Pushing Daisies, if I lose another show that has so much talent and potential, I don’t know what I will do with my Mondays… If the heads of NBC have brains, they will realize that we need this show!!

  168. Kris on April 10th, 2009 12:20 am

This a creative, drama and comedy. It’s smart and fun. It is so rare to find smart and fun in one show on TV. Chuck is worth your time to renew. In fact, NBC, you have 2 of the smartest and fun shows on all of TV and you treat them horribly. These are the only 2 shows I watch on NBC . . . Chuck!!! and Life.!!

  169. Chi on April 10th, 2009 12:33 am

  170. Jon S. on April 10th, 2009 12:48 am

Chuck is an amazing show. It’s smart, fun, creative, and so much more. In my opinion, Chuck is the best show NBC has, and if they were to lose it, many viewers would jump ship. The characters are creative and fun, what other show has a Captain Awesome, Casey, or Morgan?
I’m very disappointed in NBC for choosing to put Leno on primetime, forcing them to cancel 3-5 shows. I’m especially angry with NBC for saying that it’s either Life or Chuck that gets the axe, seeing as those are my two favorite shows on the network. I’d probably jump ship if even one of those gets cancelled.

  171. Sara on April 10th, 2009 9:54 am

“Chuck” is one of the best shows on TV, bar none! It’s got action, romance and suspense… every week. Zachary Levi and Co. have great chemistry, and the will they or won’t they of Chuck and Sarah has not gotten old for me yet. With a major character slated to be killed off before season’s end, things are just starting to get juicy. What would Mondays be without Awesome, Ellie, Morgan, Lester, Jeff, Anna and BIg Mike – not to mention Chuck, Sarah and Casey??!!? Save this show and help us continue to want Monday to come sooner rather than later!

  172. KB on April 10th, 2009 11:30 am

It saddens me that so many great shows get cancelled while there are about 50 crime scene dramas on air. Don’t we need some variation? Chuck is such a great show! It has everything…adventure, comedy, sexual tension, drama. It is one of only 3 shows that are on my “must see” list (and its my favorite of the three). Plus, its a show that I know appeals to men and women. Adam Baldwin is a hilarious character actor and Zach Levi has created such a warm and lovable hero in Chuck. I love the fact that show interweaves Chuck’s “real” life with his adventures as an unwitting spy. The show is so well written with great pop culture references and even better sci-fi tie-ins! NBC would foolish to cancel this great show. There is nothing left on TV but lame reality TV and serial crime dramas. BORING!

I can’t stand reality television shows, and it seems as if the quality of scripted shows has declined sharply over the years in an effort to remain a relevant genre…and then, there’s Chuck. 99% of the TV shows out there can’t hold my attention for more than an episode or two, but I anxiously await the airing of each new Chuck episode. Please don’t cancel one of the last remaining well-written shows on TV!

  183. simmer on April 11th, 2009 5:14 am

Chuck is the best thing on television right now. This show brings something no other show on today can claim to and thats originality and genuis. NBC please save Chuck it has so much potential if you would just give it the tools it needs to succeed.

  187. T on April 11th, 2009 1:22 pm

Please NBC don’t be dumb to cancel a show like CHUCK. You managed to renew FNL for it’s quality why not CHUCK? Chuck has been the one consistent good show on Monday. It has the whole package, it’s nothing like any other shoes on TV. I don’t even get why people watch such crap shows like DWTS? There are many writers working their butts off to create a unique and good show and to be sidelined by a reality show. The show has been consistently VERY GOOD!! it never missed a beat, it even came back with a bang.. PLEASE, Chuck has been critically praised everywhere, just give the renewal already.

  188. Jon on April 11th, 2009 3:29 pm

CHange the time slot rather than cancel it – or cancel one of the rubbish shows instead!

And if you have to cancel it why not just close the show down with a proper final episode rather than the normal cliffhangers…

I am so glad I found this link (thanks EW). I love Chuck and have since Season 1, Episode 1. It is the only show I make a point to watch. I am not a huge television person to begin with, but if there was more quality like Chuck out there, I could be. This show manages to make me cry, laugh, and think all within the space of an hour. I adore each character’s wit and the actors are incredible. The storyline is exciting and thoughtful… Even my boyfriend likes it — and he watches less TV than me! Please keep Chuck on the air or I’m going to have to give up on TV altogether.

  192. Takara on April 12th, 2009 12:32 am

Chuck is such an awesome show, DO NOT CANCEL IT! It is starting to get REALLY good right now (not that it hasn’t always been awesome!). Who doesn’t want to know what’s going to happen between Chuck and Sarah, and with Orion and the new Intersect? I know I do! SAVE CHUCK!

    Save Chuck!
Chuck was robbed it’s first season because of the writer’s strike. Cheated out of a full season, a proper season finale, and fragile viewership ratings of a new show. Luckily it was able to bounce back and rally for a second season. Don’t kill Chuck just when it’s finally able to hit its stride!

  198. Cricket on April 13th, 2009 2:14 pm

Save Chuck please!! Last weeks episode was a perfect example of how wonderful Chuck is.

  199. DJ Bali on April 13th, 2009 3:41 pm

Chuck is a multi-story show so there is always something to watch in each episode. You have romance (Chuck and Sarah), spy action, pop culture send-ups, and loads of comedy. And talk about great guest starts – Scott Bakula, Chevy Chase, Dominic Monaghan, Nicole Richie, … with a great cast! I gave up House to watch Chuck. So cancelling Chuck means – bye, bye NBC! If the ratings are down, why don’t they put it in another time slot!

  200. Madison Ruppenthal on April 13th, 2009 4:33 pm

I was first introduced to this show at my friends house back in 2007… I remember the first thing I thought when they had finished showing me Chuck vs. The Wookie was “Where has this show been all my life?” After that, we continued to watch every single Chuck episode that they had recorded until there was no more and I remember saying, almost tearfully, “That’s it?”… thus marked the beginning of a new obsession. Since then, I have been completely faithful to this show, watching it every night and recording it, buying Season 1 on DVD, and now, writing about how great it is. Chuck is the perfect combination of drama, suspense, action, romance (Charah!), and comedy. I live for this show!!! NBC, if you’re reading this, you would be making a mistake if you canceled this show… so please, SAVE CHUCK!!!!!

  201. Hannah on April 13th, 2009 5:23 pm

    I. Love. Chuck. It is the only TV show I routinely watch, and my whole family gets together to watch it. We laugh, we cry. It moves us, Bob. Seriously, I look forward to the next episode of Chuck all week. I have never been this attached to a TV show. Chuck is the perfect mixture of believable and hilarious characters, action, romance, drama, and comedy. IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN CHUCK. I bought Season 1 for my mom for Christmas and I plan on buying Season 2 for my dad’s birthday. I honestly think I’d cry if Chuck got cancelled. And then I’d probably never watch NBC again. 😀 I’m so glad there are others out there who share my undying love of Chuck!

Hi GMMR, I just got back in town, so I haven’t been in the Save Chuck loop and therefore don’t know if this has already been mentioned. Anyway, for those newbies who want to catch up on Season 1 & 2 while watching new episodes live, season 1 is available on thewb.com (it alternates each half of the season every 2 weeks). And, as I’m sure y’all know, old episodes of Season 2 are still posted on hulu. So, even though I don’t think you need to see all this to start watching asap, you can play catchup at your leisure this way.

  206. Katherine on April 14th, 2009 11:43 am

Chuck is now the only show I watch every week on tv. Other shows I watch sometimes or online, but every Monday I am there watching Chuck live. It is a superbly clever show with a lot of heart. It has been years since I followed a show religiously and if Chuck is cancelled I refuse to watch ANYTHING else on NBC. I’m proud to Nerd-out and support the herd – save Chuck!!!!!

  207. Amy on April 14th, 2009 11:54 am

Save Chuck – its just a great show and one of the only good shows left on NBC.

  210. Kathi Girard on April 14th, 2009 5:26 pm

Save Chuck please. It’s funny, suspenseful, and just all around fun. The actors do a tremendous job from the Nerd Herd, to Chuck’s family, to the CIA operatives. There’s a lot of dreck on TV, but Chuck is not one of them. It rises to the top every time.

  211. Caitlin on April 14th, 2009 6:19 pm

I watch Chuck every Monday, I was so said to hear that it might be cancelled. It’s one of my favorite shows on TV now. I think it’s funny and the characters are great! Save Chuck!

  212. Rory on April 14th, 2009 6:58 pm

I have created a .torrent file with a Chuck video in. The video isnt anything special. But the point is. If we can get more seeders than the episodes do then it will make a big statement about the support of the internet as a whole.

    Download it at: http://isohunt.com/download/76279957/

(you also needs something like utorrent) AND KEEP SEEDING IT!!!

  213. Brian on April 14th, 2009 7:12 pm

“Chuck” is one of the shows that I watch religiously, every week. It’s got a great sense of humor and a healthy geekiness you don’t find in a lot of shows anymore. Anyone who hasn’t watched it should at least give it a try. The writing is good, the acting is good, and the humor is great. 🙂

  214. Kathleen on April 14th, 2009 7:20 pm

Being a full-time graduate student and working full-time has been very stressful for me over the last year. I’ve been an avid Chuck fan since it’s birth, but it wasn’t until I started graduate school that I became obsessed. Chuck doesn’t just get me through Monday, it gets me through the entire week. It is my source of sanity in this crazy world.

  215. Lynn on April 14th, 2009 8:03 pm

I enjoyed Chuck the first season… it was an interesting concept with great potential. Thankfully it was renewed for a second season in which this potential was realized. I can only hope for a third season to see what Chuck has in store.

Chuck is definitely must see TV for me!

  216. Art on April 14th, 2009 8:28 pm

  219. Daniel on April 15th, 2009 4:25 pm

Chuck has to be saved. I’ve watched every episode on t.v. since it came out. Monday night has become my therapy for what happened the past week. At 8:00, Chuck comes on and I don’t change the channel. Chuck has given meaning to Mondays. It is a funny, thrilling, action-packed show. And who can forget the actors. I don’t think there is a better cast on t.v. Also I, like many others, have found myself saying catch phrases from the show; I always say “Awesome” now. It’s addicting and by far the best show to watch. I have never seen something draw my family together like Chuck does; we might not be talking to each other, but we’re in the same room. So, please, Chuck MUST be saved, because we NEED Chuck whether or not Chuck needs us.

  220. Anne on April 15th, 2009 4:32 pm

  222. Gama on April 15th, 2009 5:33 pm

Damn, when I saw the news about Chuck going to end, I couldn’t believe it.
Why should this show be canceled? I mean, it has a much more able cast, the script is far more funny, interesting and unique then any other show, and this is the most addicting show I’ve ever seen. You won’t find one, that offers so many as Chuck does, good humour, exciting actions and a display of true friendship that all family can watch.
This show has everything the others have, and way more!

    PLEASE, don’t do that.

Thumbs up for Chuck from a sad fan from Portugal \o/

  223. Pat on April 15th, 2009 10:45 pm

I have been watching Chuck from the beginning and have gotten my kids and friends to be fans. What I like the most is the evolution of the characters and the way the writers resist going for easy stereotypes and caricatures-like Awesome. Most important though: we all know a Chuck and probably have a little of Chuck in each of us…being paralyzed by life’schoices and ending up doing nothing…and wouldn’t we all love something totally dramatic to come into our lives, shake us up and give us a chance to show the courage we all hope is inside?! And to show it with grace, caring and humor is what we allwant to be. I hope the word spreads and we can save Chuck!

  224. Anthony Luett on April 16th, 2009 1:16 am

This show is unbelievable. It has drama, comedy, and Sarah. She always makes the show interesting with her skimpy outfits. Chuck and Casey’s comradery and then theres Morgan. He is the lost sidekick. Even Awesome is pretty cool. Its now more interesting than ever with Scott Bakula. I cant get enough of this show. There is only a few shows I watch besides sports, and this is one of them. I love it. You have to renew or I may never watch a new NBC show again!

  225. weiqian on April 16th, 2009 6:03 am

I’m from Singapore, and I don’t get to watch good shows very often. Chuck is one of the few fantastic shows that caught my attention. Unlike other fantastic shows, Chuck don’t get boring with each ongoing episode and I don’t find myself growing sick of it. Instead, I find myself looking forward to the next episode just to watch how the characters are doing.

In conclusion, Chuck is the best show ever. It is my #1 favourite show.!!!

  226. cha on April 16th, 2009 7:18 am

Massive yes to Chuck season three!!

  227. Tina on April 16th, 2009 12:33 pm

Save this show! It is a great family show, of which there are fewer and fewer of this quality. It just needs to find a good time that stays stable, and it will find a strong audience. My three girls love watching this show, and so does their grandmother – so what other show can span that age span? Keep Chuck Alive!!

  228. Josh on April 16th, 2009 9:09 pm

SAVE CHUCK!!! I make it a point to watch Chuck. Its a great show and my wife and son love to watch it. It makes Monday a family night. I bet if they move it to Wednesday, NBC with get the ratings they are looking for. There is really nothing on Wednesday. I usually watch Chuck and Heroes on Monday, Reaper on Tuesday, Nothing on Wednesday, Smallville and Supernatural on Thursday, and nothing on Friday. Wednesday would be a good spot but I would watch Chuck any day of the week!!!

  229. Jim on April 16th, 2009 10:59 pm

I love the show probably too much. I discovered it on Hulu a few weeks ago and have finally watched every episode thanks to Hulu and Amazon’s on-demand video.
I intend to make a bumper sticker “Chuck Mon. 8pm NBC” over the weekend. Who knows if it will do anything…can’t hurt?!

  230. Ken on April 16th, 2009 11:48 pm

Chuck wouldn’t even be in danger if it got a better time slot from the network. Seems all the good shows are stacked together on Monday when there is plenty of “dead air space” other times in the week. My wife and I both love Chuck and it is one of the few shows that we always sit down and watch together. Go Nerd Herd!!!

  232. Katie on April 17th, 2009 1:52 pm

Please save Chuck! I loove this show! It’s the only thing on at this hour that is decent to watch. It has a great plotline, enough adult humor and innuendos to satisfy any 8pm hour viewer, plus enough comedy and fun stuff that teens (let’s face it a huuuge drawing crowd) can enjoy it too. I love this show and watch it every single week – sometimes twice a week if I can! (Yeah for the internet showing full episodes!) This is truly one of the few shows that is entertaining every single week, every single show. Even juggernauts like Heros and Lost have their slow, complicated weeks – but not Chuck! It is simply great TV and I for one would be truly sad to see it go.

Also, the writing is clever to boot! Chuck is part of what gets me through my crazy hectic week because I think hey, it could be worse, I could have the intersect in my head 24/7…..

  236. trisha on April 19th, 2009 7:42 pm

I have to tell ya, i have gone from having lots of “favorites” on network tv to not watching much at all.

Chuck is one of the few shows that can bring me back to the tube to enjoy a well acted, action packed, funny, show that has real heart.

I can’t believe it is even a consideration to cancel this show when there is very little on network television that is even on the same level of Chuck.

CBS executives, please reconsider whatever plan there might be to phase out Chuck. This would be a major blow to everyone that enjoys a great show with great actors.

  241. Miriam on April 20th, 2009 1:28 pm

Chuck is a great show. It’s well written and ALWAYS makes me laugh. In fact, I think it’s really the only thing that gets me through Mondays. When I’m sitting in class at my university, rather than thinking about witch hunts or 19th century novelists, I’m thinking about what hilarious things Chuck will say in the next episode. I love this show more than anything else that’s on TV right now, and I strongly believe that it has the potential to become something great. Chuck is a refreshing new kind of hero.

Please don’t cancel the show. There are many shows on TV that don’t have what Chuck has. Chuck has heart. Please don’t break it.

I will lose total faith in the TV industry if NBC does not renew CHUCK. My wife and I have enjoyed every epidsode from the very first, and they seem to be getting better and better. The storyline has developed into a great one and there is so much potential that CHUCK offers.

I, for one, use a DVR which helps me watch my favorite programs whenever I want. For what it’s worth, CHUCK is the ONLY show that my wife and I watch “live” because we don’t want to wait another minute without it – which means that we have to watch all the commercials during the show – and NBC, isn’t THAT what you want in a show??

Please save CHUCK! Or else the intercept will be making a call to you!

Thank you for trying to save Chuck, our favorite family TV show this season. My daughter and her friends have named Monday nights “Chuck Night,” and they all gather together, order some food, and turn off their cells! I honestly don’t know who enjoys it more-my kids, or my husband and myself. It is smart, funny, fast-paced, and romantic. It has something for everyone- part spy thriller, part romantic comedy, part bromance, etc. The characters are endearing, from handsome Chuck to quirky Lester to beautiful Sarah.

If NBC is foolish enough to give up on Chuck, I certainly hope one of the other networks picks up this gem.

If Chuck goes. I go. I’m not sure where….probably to Big Bang. I’m the geek in the house and my wife was the cool high school cheerleader that didn’t know what a wookiee was until we married, but we both love it. In my opinion, it has two -maybe even 3-stand alone shows wrapped inside of it. The Buymore comedy quick wit is definitely funny enough to stand on it’s own – throw in some spy action – some forbidden romance..

Time to take it to a new level.

I started watching Chuck this year, half-way through after my dad nagging me since it first came on. The moment I saw it, I could not believe what I had missing. Chuck truely makes my Mondays and I always make sure I don’t miss a moment of it. After my first episode I went online and watched every single one. I then convinced a friend to watch it an she’s hooked as well. Without a doubt, a shining star among drab, meaningless, overused reality shows.

  258. Claire on April 20th, 2009 10:48 pm

Thanks for everything you’re doing to save the show! I really can’t believe such a smart, funny, entertaining show is in danger.

Another thought: What if we picked a time to all tweet NBC (http://twitter.com/nbc) with the message “Save Chuck!” or something like that? It might be cool if we got a ton of people to do it at the same time; they would be flooded with tweets.

I love this show and I would be so sad if it got cancelled. I really hope that they decide to renew chuck and let there be a season 3. I have watched this show since the first episode, and have been watching it ever since. How would I survive Monday’s if Chuck doesn’t come on at 8:00 every week? I would be bored out of my mind if it wasn’t for chuck, and I would have nothing to look forward to every week. So PLEASE don’t cancel Chuck!!!!

I love Chuck and have never missed an episode. Until Chuck, I only watched sports and stupid adult cartoons (: Chuck allows people to really identify with the main character, Chuck, himself. He is just an average guy who gets his entire life flipped upside down. When this happens Chuck gets to kind of escape his boring life and swap it in for an action-packed life of espionage. Once a week viewers get to escape with him and in times like these many people need an escape. Please keep the show!!! I love and from just looking at a few message board so do many many others.

  264. PJ on April 21st, 2009 12:07 am

Chuck is so great! I just started watching it this season and I can’t get enough. I watched the entire season online and am caught up. Don’t let it get cancelled!!!

  265. Jessica on April 21st, 2009 12:10 am

I never miss an episode of Chuck – I think it is hands-down one of the best shows on TV today. It has a perfect mix of talented actors, chemistry, witty dialogue, and action. The show appeals to a broad cross-section of people because we can see ourselves in Chuck.

  266. Nicholas on April 21st, 2009 1:14 am

I hope NBC would give Chuck a shot. I love the romance and action in this series. Please don’t cancel it. This is the only series that i would rather spend my time watching it. Also, i want to see more of Sarah walker when she with Chuck. Their romance is so interesting to watch. Just as they are building up their relationship, the season ends. How sucks is that. c’mon people. support Chuck. I want see more of Yvonne in this show. At least give it another season to consider.

Recently I had the “opportunity” to attend the Air Force SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) course for 19 days. Conditions were tough as we were surviving in the woods and evading the notional enemy. We had little food, water, or any common pleasures we take for granted in today’s world.

    The one thing I missed?

CHUCK – save Chuck! Despite hunger, thirst, and the extreme need for a good shower I would had given it all up to watch some Chuck out in the field!

  268. Ryan on April 21st, 2009 1:20 am

I have never ever ever liked a show as much as I like Chuck. Wait let me rephrase that I LOVE CHUCK!! This show blast’s every other show out of the water. It’s got a great cast, writing, storyline, and the suspense and comedy are well balanced. This show just needs some breathing room. Put it on a different night other than Monday so it’s not competing with other shows that have gotten the breathing room. CHUCK is worth renewing and if Chuck doesn’t get renewed I’m going to want to boycott NBC.

  269. Jon on April 21st, 2009 1:53 am

Chuck is the best show on network TV right now. The cast is the tightest ensemble and the writing is excellent. NBC would have to be out of their minds to cancel the best show they have had since Friends.

  270. Cody Chen on April 21st, 2009 2:05 am

Chuck is the best. Theres NOthing else better than Chuck. Chuck is funny. Chuck is action packed. Chuck is smart. Chuck has Yvonne Strahovski( Sarah ). Chuck defines mondays. Chuck is NOT going to be Canceled. Chuck is season 3. =)

  277. Jesscia on April 21st, 2009 11:41 am

Chuck has definately become one of my top shows that I watch. I do not watch alot of tv and its one of about three shows that I love. It has interesting plots, the characters are lovable, and it adds humor with drama. Altogether its my favorite. I would hate to see this show cancelled becasue its one of the few shows on today that is enjoyable to watch. Keep Chuck around its a fantastic show!!!!

  278. JM on April 21st, 2009 12:04 pm

Chuck is my favorite show right now, and I hope enough people write NBC so it gets to continue. Maybe Scott Bakula as a series irregular would help, and maybe more guest stars? That worked to keep other shows on the air. Hopefully NBC already knows what’s great about the show, and how a family can watch it together- very rare on TV these days. Maybe another network can pick it up if NBC doesn’t? Please network execs! Watch the show, and feel the love!

  279. Grant on April 21st, 2009 12:52 pm

I watch everything. Non-scripted, showtime, hbo, networks, sports, you name it I watch it.

Chuck is everything good TV should be. It is the only show on NBC i watch anymore. Even The Office is stale. Chuck is fresh.

I know its a tough show to market, but they’ve got it where it needs to be. They can NOT give up on this.

    SAVE CHUCK! We need him.

  280. AB on April 21st, 2009 12:59 pm

Please keep Chuck on air! it’s a great show that has everything you need, comedy, romance and action! When the show first started I said I was not going to add another show to my line-up but one show and I was hooked and have not stopped watching since. Please don’t take Chuck away!

  281. John on April 21st, 2009 1:11 pm

Let’s Save CHUCK! We’ve seen Sarah, Casey, and even “The Morgan” save CHUCK numerous times. I hope that NBC gives the show a chance to blossom like some of the other shows. I will be honest, I was skeptical about the show when it first started. A friend of mine told me it’s a great show and I should watch it. I gave it a chance and I have been watching since. Please keep CHUCK! There are very few shows that have the humor that CHUCK has. If you’re gonna do something, put them on a timeslot where they will blossom. How about a Tuesday or Wednesday show? Do you know that after Monday nights, my tv is practically off because we do not have good shows to watch? So please, save the show. Thanks.

  282. RC on April 21st, 2009 1:22 pm

This show is so cleverly written and is so well acted by all the cast members. Why is it that they cancel all the entertaining programs and replace them with programs that do not hold the viewers interest. DON’T TAKE OFF CHUCK!!!!!!!

Keep the best show on TV! Save Chuck!

  287. J. on April 21st, 2009 2:55 pm

    Dear NBC,

“Chuck” is the best thing on prime time TV right now — and the only prime time network show I consider “must see” TV. And I write that not as a teenage or a twentysomething boy but as a 35+-year-old woman who despite some nerd-like tendencies is not a nerd or a computer geek.

What makes “Chuck” great? The chemistry among its cast members. Sure, there may be other shows out there with better writing or better special effects or more recognizable, more glamorous actors. But none of them has “Chuck”‘s cast. Yes, the story lines and dialog are good, often funny and sweet, but it’s the cast — that particular group of actors — that makes “Chuck” great. Every week, I find myself rooting out loud for Chuck, and Sarah, and even Morgan, and Casey. Because I have come to know and care about these people. Last night’s penultimate episode indeed had me cheering and near tears. And I am not an emotional person.

Please NBC executives (if you happen to read this), DO NOT CANCEL CHUCK. At least not now. Just give us fans one more season, or at least another 13 episodes. Please.

    With thanks,

    J.

chuck is by far the best show on TV right now.
it’s upsetting just to THINK it might not get renewed.

  289. Angie S on April 21st, 2009 5:18 pm

I have been a watcher of Chuck from day 1. I think it’s so funny and smart and witty and any other adjective to describe how great it is. Season 1 was awesome but I think Season 2 is just amazing! So many hilarious moments. I love the interaction between the characters. You can tell they really have the chemistry. They get it and we can see it. I am really in shock that we are having to go to these lengths to save this show. I mean, what is NBC thinking?!? It’s so good, I was totally floored that they were even thinking of cancelling it. They gave The Office a chance (probably several) and it was good from day 1 and it gets better every season. Why can’t they give Chuck that same chance. I can think of other shows out there that just suck that they aren’t cancelling. There is no other show out there with this kind of funny. Please don’t cancel this show. Thanks!

  290. michael wilson on April 21st, 2009 5:38 pm

Chuck is easy the most light hearted fun tv show on at the moment everything on tv lately is al serious and mostly to do with death….this is fun and personally gets me through my week.

unfortunatly i am from engalnd so my percentage to the tv rating means nothing jus like the people in other countries around the world who have to catch chuck late on in the year rather when it is initaly aired so i hope nbc takes the other countries view-age of chuck in concideration because this kind of dismissal could upset many people whos votes are not concidered.

if chuck is cut it will be a yet another kick in the teath jus like the cancelling of firefly way…hopefully the mistake isnt repeated twice!

Chuck is the best show on TV. Smart, genuinely funny, well-acted, and NOT reality TV. Which in the minds of NBC executives, is like, 4 strikes against renewal.

Why can’t TV executives be better judges of excellence and taste!? I guess we’ll find out on/before May 5. GMMR, thanks for letting us join the Herd!!

  294. Luke Miller on April 21st, 2009 8:15 pm

I think that Chuck is one of the best series on TV right now. Chuck is one of the only few TV shows I watch. I have watched every episode of Chuck, some multiple times, and I still can’t get enough.

I know that everyone is basing this on very inaccurate ratings, but look at the quality of the show. There are many TV shows that are much worse than Chuck, but they are still on the air.

    SAVE CHUCK!

  295. Cheryl on April 21st, 2009 8:39 pm

The body of the letter I mailed to NBC today:
    Dear Sir and/or Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. I know you are a very busy person, and therefore I will get straight to the point.
My husband and I are fans and watchers of several shows in your primetime lineup, including The Office, 30 Rock, and Heroes. There is one NBC series in particular that we both consider “must-watch-live, never miss, no DVR delay”, and that is Chuck. The series is inventive, humorous, and action-packed with just the right amount of geek-culture love and ‘80s nostalgia for our enjoyment. It is one of the most creative and enjoyable shows on TV, and it clearly is not even close to running out of gas quite yet. Should it disappear from your lineup, it would be sorely missed in our household.
My DVR records several other shows on Monday nights on other networks, but Chuck has my eyeballs (and those of my husband) glued to the screen as it airs, much to the benefit of your advertisers. Since I understand demographics may be important, I am 25 years old (him, 26) and we live in Jacksonville, Florida. We are not Nielsen viewers, but believe our viewership matters.
We support the show in any way we can. We own the first season on DVD, and have pre-ordered the second season. Most weeks we watch the latest episode again on Hulu.com. We have encouraged several friends and family members to tune in Monday nights at 8:00 pm Eastern. In short, we agree wholeheartedly with the numerous TV critics and thousands of fans alike; please renew Chuck for a third season today!
In closing, I’d like to tell you that I have enjoyed NBC’s programming for several years. Friends was the first show that I ever made a point to watch every week, and Thursday has always been “must-see TV” on NBC for me. In all my years of TV viewing, this is the first time I have ever been compelled to write a letter to a network, nevertheless one concerning the renewal status of a TV show. Please consider my request in that light, along with that of the several other Chuck supporters you have heard from in the last month. Please renew Chuck.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

  298. DAWN on April 21st, 2009 9:42 pm

Ok, let’s be honest. It’s a silly show.
But we need more silly shows.
My life is not nearly silly enough.
So help me out here! Cancel it, and I return to this ornately boring guy who sits around picking at his toe cheese and wondering why flies land on guys. I mean really, here, folks.
NBC, have mercy on me. Please. No cheese. CHUCK me!

My wife is going nuts saying that this isn’t forceful enough. (She is going crazy here.) SO SAVE MY POOR PATHETIC EXISTENCE (i.e. Chuck-less) AND KEEP THE SHOW. Ok?

Chuck makes my week. Every week.

Chuck is an intelligently paced and plotted program with actual characters that have dimensions and *gasp* development! Week in and week out, the writers display their skill in what has easily become my favorite television show available. I love the cable shows that have surpassed network TV, but Chuck is the exception to that rule.

If NBC drops Chuck it would be a massive blow… don’t do it!!

  308. Karina on April 22nd, 2009 12:24 pm

I wrote my letters and mailed them on Saturday (4/18)! I hope you guys do as well. I addressed the good business of the broad demographic appeal, the uniqueness, previous risks NBC has taken that paid off (and how Fox blows it and who wants to be like Fox, right?) and also they have plenty of product placement revenue to pay for this very expensive show and also WE LOVE IT!
This week’s episode (4/20) was frustratingly “wrapping up” and we must act NOW! Not later! Save Chuck!

Don’t you dare take this show away from us!

    Chuck Bartowski:
“Oh, and, uh, just so you know. I am going to get this thing out of my head one day. I will. And when I do, I’m going to live the life that I want with the girl that I love. Because I’m not going to let this thing rob me of that. I won’t.”

    Major John Casey:
    “We’re dead…Bartowski’s got a gun”

  312. Eric W. on April 22nd, 2009 3:21 pm

Chuck is one of the few shows that I can watch with the family!, we love it!

  313. R P on April 22nd, 2009 4:34 pm

I have a pretty typical busy family. Two teenage boys and a wife who works full time as well. That’s why we struggle to have meals or do anything else together as a family. But we don’t have to struggle on Monday nights. All the homework is done, all the trash is out, all the dishes have been cleared, because nobody wants to miss Chuck. Oh yes, we do record every episode so that no one misses out but that’s hardly ever an issue. Why? Because watching it TOGETHER is so much more fun than watching it by yourself (and oh yeah, doing your algebra homework while listening to the rest of your family laughing in the next room… torture). It’s the only show on TV that we all care about seeing as soon as it airs. It’s the only thing I can tell you we will be doing together every week.

A lot of people have written about the elements that make this show great, the writing, the talented actors, the upbeat tempo and hopeful trajectory of the story line. Those are all important parts but they are just parts. This show has come together in a way that makes it greater than the sum of those parts. It doesn’t just have good chemistry, it has HEART. That’s why it has earned a place on ours. Please think again before you cancel a quality show for another hour of reality junk or another murder drama. I can only take so many corpses and coniving game players. I’d rather invite Chuck into my living room.

PS: Hey Subway, want to sell a LOT of Teriaki sandwiches? How about giving me some way to vote for this show when I do.

  314. Dmarkel on April 22nd, 2009 7:47 pm

I have loved “Chuck” ever since the first episode. I couldn’t believe there was something this entertaining on regular TV. It’s got a little bit of everything – action, humor, romance. And the balance of elements is amazing – the show has NEVER gone too far in any one direction. I can always depend on a few LOL moments and few heart tugs and some excellent action scenes. The acting is first rate as well. I’ve been amazed at the talent in this show – the writers as well as the actors. There’s not a character you don’t genuinely like in one way or another.

There’s something uplifting about watching “Chuck.” It always leaves you feeling good. I used to be devoted “House” fan and never missed an episode. But when I had to choose between the two, I went with “Chuck.” The characters are more likable, the show is funnier, and it always leaves you feeling good.

  315. Laila Gudrais on April 22nd, 2009 8:20 pm

CHUCK HAS TO BE SAVED!!!! It is actually the BEST show on TV! Its good for every single generation and ANY type of viewer. It may not be your favorite show (its definitely in my top 4 favorite shows of ALL time), but it is the best script/acting/plot. I’ve heard from many different people that they think it is just the PERFECT show/perfect formula. We CAN’T let this go to waste; it would be ridiculous! Everyone in my family watches it, and I even watched the first season 3 times each time with a different member of my family, and I never got bored of it. I don’t think there are many shows that you can HONESTLY say that about. If it is cancelled, I don’t know what I’ll do. It has to be saved period.

This show is the bright spot in my tough work week. After a incredibly full weekend followed by a depressing Monday, it sure is fun to come home and make popcorn and snuggle up with the wife and watch the show and laugh. My daughter is in charge of the remote and she is a master at setting it up for viewing. We have to time delay it due to our hectic schedules so that we can enjoy it together. I think that the interaction between the different characters in the show is a wonderful mix and it has become a source for much discussion between my family members. If we could only watch one show a week, this would be it. Sometimes it is the only show we can watch. The writers have a very funny outlook on the seemingly normal lifestyle of the average worker. The mix of “normal” and “oddball” characters provides an eery comparison/transition between our lives and the ones of the characters on TV. It is very easy to place yourself in the episode to escape life’s monotony for an hour and leave feeling rejuvenated. Yvonne is fresh and a delight to watch. Adam is hilarious. Zach is charming and Josh is a kook. I love all the characters in the show and think that the writing has gotten even better. I beg the powers that be to please continue this show. I am recommending it to everyone I know in the hopes that the viewership will increase. Please don’t let such a funny show go by the wayside. I would gladly pay for this show. Please SAVE CHUCK!

I rarely get involved with a Tv show but Chuck has been one of a kind for me. I know perhaps this words won’t help at all saving the program but at least i want to let people in charge of this campaign to know that here there is an other fan that doesn’t want to see such a wonderful show replaced by some violent or drama tv show that doesn’t unplug you from reality…

  325. CHRIS on April 23rd, 2009 5:51 pm

Watch chuck! I gave it a try at the beginning of Season 2 and have yet to be disappointed. The show is AWESOME! It could/should and can be the new “Sienfield”/”Friends”/”E.R.”/etc if NBC wants it to be… I agree the show needs a better day of the week/time slot maybe Wed. after Idol or Thursday but no matter what they need to keep this show, it’s the only NBC I watch… If they take this show away I’ll likely only watch ABC/CBS.

    NBC you MUST renew chuck!!!

  326. Autumn on April 23rd, 2009 6:01 pm

I read an interview that Josh Schwartz had done and he said the fans of Chuck should send Nerds (candy) to NBC. So maybe if everyone sends a couple packs of nerds to the network it might help save the show.

  327. Alice Cheshire on April 23rd, 2009 7:35 pm

I love this cast, all the way down to the minor Buymorians, but the chemistry between the three main characters is something you can only hope for. The writing is so good… I enjoy the wackiness, but then they can just turn on a dime and break my heart. I didn’t think they could do any better than what they already had, and then the added Scott Bakula. I wondered who they’d get to be Chuck’s dad, but the moment I saw Bakula I couldn’t imagine it being anyone else. Aces. Seriously.

I already lost Pushing Daisies; they just have to keep Chuck on, or what’s a tv for?

  328. samsouma on April 23rd, 2009 8:00 pm

I freakin’ love the show!! i can’t believe it may be cancelled!! it’s with no doubt one of the top show on tv right now!!
the spies stories are always great, and the buy more plot are always hilarious, and devon&elli are cute!! hope ‘CHUCK’ will get a season 3…cuz it’s just AWSOME!!!

  329. Cyn on April 23rd, 2009 10:14 pm

Every year, I have a handful of new shows I’ll start watching, and eventually, but the end of the season, I’m down to one, maybe two that I’ll watch faithfully. Chuck was last season’s lone survivor. It’s funny, it’s quirky, there’s action, drama, romance. The pop culture references alone are stellar.

Please, NBC. Don’t let such an enjoyable show slip through the cracks. SAVE CHUCK!

  330. Rachael on April 24th, 2009 1:34 am

I just discovered Chuck about 2 or 3 months ago … I had been watching Heroes this entire time and ignoring Chuck … what the hell was I thinking???? Once I finally watched Chuck, I realized that it’s WAAY more entertaining than Heroes and I’ve been missing it this whole time!! I have now caught up on all the back episodes through iTunes, DVD, and nbc.com. And it’s basically now my new fave t.v. show. I’ve turned my husband onto it too, and now he also loves it. PLEASE SAVE CHUCK!!!! DOWN WITH LENO … what the hell is NBC smoking??

  331. Brad Hammerson on April 24th, 2009 1:47 am

Please keep the episodes of chuck coming. I’ve been worried so much lately with all the plot lines and the lack of the official pick up for season 3. I’ve managed to keep up with it live virtually every week since it started, and I’ve gone back and seen every episode I missed. I love this show, the dynamics between the characters, and the writing is done so well.

    PLEASE RENEW CHUCK!!!!!

I’ll be watching the finale, and I’ll let others know to watch it too.
    -Brad

  332. Elena on April 24th, 2009 8:17 am

I don’t understand how NBC can renew a show like Kath and Kim and NOT Chuck.

I’ve watched A LOT of television shows and Chuck is up there as one of the best.

My heart broke from the loss of Pushing Daisies, please NBC, don’t take Chuck away from me too.

  333. Alison on April 24th, 2009 4:14 pm

PLEASSEEEE renew Chuck!! It’s one of the most creative shows on tv and it deserves a 3rd season. The cast is awesome in real life and I don’t know how else to say it other than that! It’s so unique RENEW CHUCK!!!

Chuck is hands down, one of the best well-written shows on TV right now and i don’t think theres any other show that has a better and talented cast than Chuck does!
Chuck is a perfect combination of action, drama, comedy and romance and it certainly deserves another shot to show the world what it has to offer.
As an Aussie lover of the show, I don’t know if my contribution counts in ratings but I’ve clearly converted my mates & family in the States to watch it!

So NBC, CAN YOU BE AWESOME? Save Chuck!!

  338. daniel on April 25th, 2009 1:37 am

    chuck is ridiculously awesome.
come back for another season PLEASE!
i think theres so much in this show that so many people can relate to. perhaps not the spy part, but the little relationship, work, family, goals, dreams stuff…
    GREAT SHOW.

  339. Dan Walston on April 25th, 2009 11:12 am

  340. Heidi Sanger on April 25th, 2009 11:43 am

LONG LIVE CHUCK!! LONG LIVE CHUCK!!!

We have also watched this show from the very first episode and we never miss it!! Its nice to have a show like this that is funny and has action without the other garbage that other shows have in them. Please don’t take this show off the air, if you do you will be taking away another choice for people to watch. Not everyone likes the shows with the crude comments, etc. This show is good clean fun!

  341. Juan Pablo on April 25th, 2009 11:51 am

This shows remind me when Keen Eddie was on the limb too, a great show, with humour beautiful girls, action and drama. Why Chuck is even considered to cancel? I don’t get it.

  342. Jillian on April 25th, 2009 2:35 pm

Chuck is not just a TV show. Oh no. Chuck is a man who gives normal people hope, hope that someday they will do something to change other people’s lives. Forget your typical “too hot to handle” TV star, because Chuck is the essential perfect guy that everyone loves and admires. Charles Bartowski has not only influenced the lives of Agent Sarah Walker, John Casey, and Morgan Grimes, but has made me fall in love with him episode after episode with his wit and charm. Watch out ladies, Chuck is the new 007.

  343. Jillian on April 25th, 2009 2:39 pm

Also, NBC should do a Chuck promo like through a contest or something because that would definitely promote the TV show and gain a ton of viewers. Maybe like “Win a date with Chuck Bartowski” or Enter and win to appear in an episode of Chuck!
I was only kind of kidding about the first one…
But either way, I would pay to enter.
    JUST SAVE CHUCK PEOPLE!

  344. Max on April 25th, 2009 6:13 pm

Oh boy, if they cancel it, I’ll come to the US and start a killing spree. I’m German (living in th UK) and of all the shows we get here from the US Chuck is the most positive exception. The whole thing has so much potential, all that 80’s stuff, the geek references, how can they even think about cancelling? Keep it nerdy and we’ll be watching it!

  345. Julie on April 25th, 2009 8:43 pm

I hope Chuck does not leave the air.
I am not into Dancing with Stars and rather watch Chuck, Sarah,
Casey and Morgan. Fun plots, action, and the ever wondering of
a romance between Chuck and Sarah.
I think it just is in a bad time slot and would survive for sure,
    in another time slot.

  346. Brittany on April 26th, 2009 2:51 pm

The idea of Chuck getting cancelled seriously depresses me. There are only two shows I watch on tv right now: The Office and Chuck. Chuck is too good for it to go off the air!

  347. huzyb on April 26th, 2009 4:53 pm

but i don’t mind too much as there are better shows

    and of course
    fringe

For 15 years there has only been one show that I have faithfully watched on Monday nights and that has been WWE wrestling. That is until I started watching Chuck. It is the perfect show. It has everything; comedy, suspense, action and most importantly the hottest woman on TV. The funny thing is my kids love it just as much as I do. To take this show off the air would be a tragedy and I would no longer have anything to look forward to watching each week. Please do the smart thing and renew Chuck for another season or better yet how about another 10 seasons.

Please don’t cancel Chuck! It’s the only show I make sure to sit down and actually watch anytime it’s on. I’ve watched many of the shows over again. It’s so much better than all the “Reality” fare that is so common now. I like the premise of the show, the action, the suspense, the comedy, the personal relatuinships, the family relations, and Chuck’s geekiness. I especially like the development of his relationship and promise of romance with Sarah.

I would really like to be able to look forward to continue watching this great show every week!!!

Please don’t take this show away from us!!!

  372. Mike on April 28th, 2009 3:34 am

Chuck is easily the most well-written show on television. It has better wit than House, better action than 24, and is funnier than just about any sitcom out there. NBC is easily my favorite channel on TV, but I may stop watching it so much based purely on principal if Chuck is dropped. NBC has had success with keeping shows they know to be good on the air and waiting until they get big, i.e. 30 Rock and The Office. If they are smart, they will renew Chuck until it inevitably gets big next season.

Please NBC, keep Chuck on the air. If not for your fans, do it to help out your own ratings. Don’t let us down.

  373. RR on April 28th, 2009 4:19 am

NBC, I remember when programs were valued based on the quality of entertainment, rather than mass marketability and greed. Don’t be an ass-man, be awesome and listen to your fans. Don’t cut the show.

Chuck is a great TV show. In an era when it seems like the only shows on TV are “reality shows” Chuck is a refreshing change of pace. It’s also the ONLY show I watch on NBC and the first one of the peacock network’s shows I’ve watched since the West Wing went off the air! I have to say I love House but when Fox moved House to Chuck’s time slot on Monday nights it was a no-brainer. Chuck won hands down!

There are not enough comedies on television right now, and that goes quadruple for one-hour comedies. Chuck offers a bit of everything, and I’d suggest to anyone I meet that it’s great. I know NBC’s a bit on the dumb side lately, what with the giving Leno the 10 o’clock slot and all, but come on! Don’t do something stupid!

  387. Jake A on April 28th, 2009 7:07 pm

From the very first episode of Chuck, I knew it was a show like no other. It wasn’t exactly a comedy and it wasn’t exactly a drama. The way they mixed those two elements has made it my favorite show on television. If you take away Chuck, NBC, you take away my Monday night TV. Please give Chuck another season. If you don’t, I will boycott NBC for the rest of my life.

  388. Courtney on April 28th, 2009 7:25 pm

  389. Jeff W on April 28th, 2009 9:38 pm

Chuck is one of the freshest shows out there, and it keeps my interest.
There seems to be a glut of “reality” shows (how real can it be with cameras on you?) and mediocre shows that lose my interest halfway through the season. Chuck has consistently delivered a product that keeps me coming back for more! To end the show now would be ludicrous. Maybe they do need to move it to a different day to garner a larger audiences. It’s a pretty sad commentary on the US audience that shows like The Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars are renewed season after season and a show like Chuck could get the axe. Come on people wake your brain cells and boycot mindless drivel and support original and entertaining shows like CHUCK !

  390. Team Charah on April 28th, 2009 10:13 pm

Why Chuck needs to be saved:

Like what Chuck told Casey in vs the Ring, “thanks for saving my life every week”. Chuck & Sarah moments, Casey’s one-liners & grunts, the great storyline & kick-ass action are the only things that I look forward to at the start of the week. Not since Alias has there been a more interesting & addicting scripted show on TV. It is a break from the stresses of reality-TV & reality in general, even if it is for 42 minutes, once a week.

The fans should not have to suffer from a Chuck cancellation just because NBC couldn’t find a proper timeslot for a unique series like Chuck. IMO, this show is their only real chance of coming close to the “Friends-Fraser” MUST-SEE TV glory days. Here’s hoping that Silverman & Bromsted do right by Chuck, us fans and its hardworking cast, writers & crew by giving all of us some more of Chuck.

  391. Erik on April 28th, 2009 10:19 pm

I’ve been remiss in starting out watching some fantastic television shows… Lost, Battlestar Galatica, House and Chuck. Chuck has by far kept my impassioned interest more than any show I can think of since I downloaded the episodes I initially missed and subsequently became hooked on. Cancelling this show would be foolish, I truly believe it is trying to carry one of the most challenging spots it can for the type of audience NBC seeks. Monday’s at 8 are frustrating when one wants to watch: Chuck, House, Big Bang Theory, Greek and even for some Gossip Girl. Please consider that I am forced to download Chuck due to obligations to my spouse and her primary interest in House and Big Bang Theory. We both watch Greek, I watch Chuck and she watches Gossip Girl later in the week online. DON’T CANCEL CHUCK!

I’ve watched “Chuck” from the very beginning. I never miss an episode. Even if I’m at the bar or working late, I make sure to DVR it. Given that NBC basically sucks and the only two things I watch anymore are “Chuck” and “My Name Is Earl” (although even that’s become less and less as it becomes dull), NBC ought to think twice about losing more viewers. CBS, FOX and ABC do more with hour long shows and have more than crappy diet shows and Howie Mandel day after day.

Hey, Silverman, you should be fired just like that crappy Trump show (you keep renewing for some god awful reason?!?!) says. You do not know what you are doing and if you cancel “Chuck,” then you will lose tons of viewers like me in the 25-50 demographic. The very demo you can’t afford to lose any more of lest your network completely dies.

Chuck is ALL NBC has, and if it cancels it, I hope Silverman and his sycophants rot in reality TV hell. They could even add that to the Fall schedule, but it would probably be as dull as everything else they have outside of “Chuck.”

NBC just has to, its fan-base is HUGE ! I want to see a third season, the show can’t just end like it did.

  402. Mike on April 30th, 2009 5:40 am

Chuck is the bomb!! Its an hour a week that will make you smile. SAVE CHUCK!

  403. Rose on April 30th, 2009 8:36 am

“Chuck’ is everything that is still good and right in network television–original, quirky, clever, intelligent, extremely talented cast and writers–this is THE MOST entertaining show on NBC (or any other network for that matter). What more could we ask for?!
My husband and I LOVE ‘Chuck’ and I’ve done everything I can think of to help in this campaign to save the show. I’ve sent hand-written letters to Ben Silverman & Angela Bromstad, ate Subway sandwiches (sent the receipt to Subway marketing with a letter too), and have commented on all the blogs & websites I can find. I am SO excited about season 3 after watching the incredible finale on Monday.
This loyal fan pleads with all due respect…..SAVE CHUCK!!

  404. Jonathan on April 30th, 2009 8:40 am

NBC; you cannot and must not cancel Chuck. Its the best show on TV. it has great writing, a fantastic cast and a blend of humour, romance, action and adventure like no other show. Be brave NBC and give it a third season…Make it and the ratings will come!! SAVE CHUCK!!!

  405. Colleen on April 30th, 2009 8:48 am

I’ve been telling friends and family to watch Chuck for MONTHS! Thank you for this blog, I love it! I don’t always get much time for TV – I have 2 small children, a husband, full time job and finished my degree in December. Now that I don’t have homework and can devote some “Quality time” to TV, they’re threatening to cancel the show?!? Say it isn’t so!! I look forward to Monday night every week – my 6 year old always wants to watch with me, but her bedtime is 8:30. My husband is an enbittered Jericho fan – don’t let that happen to ME! SAVE CHUCK!!!

  406. Kim on April 30th, 2009 8:54 am

I love Chuck! I have already recruited several new people to watch it and of course they love it too. Save Chuck!

  407. Frannie on April 30th, 2009 8:54 am

Thank you for helping to SAVE CHUCK!!

  408. Vic on April 30th, 2009 8:56 am

Save Chuck! When I found out one of my favorite shows was being canceled I was very upset! I’m thrilled to learn that so many others feel the same way. My Monday won’t be complete without Chuck in the mix!!

  409. Frannie on April 30th, 2009 8:59 am

My whole family watches Chuck–my husband and three children over 17 years old. We love it!! The network is so wrong in their thinking.

  410. BETH on April 30th, 2009 9:22 am

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS SHOW GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I look forward to Monday nights just so we can watch Chuck & Heroes. I haven’t seen a in a long time where we love every single character on it. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL CHUCK 🙁 :(:(:(

  411. Stacey S on April 30th, 2009 9:34 am

    SAVE THE NERD HERD!
this is my favorite show, its funny, smart, adventurous, family friendly without being goofy. The cast is amazing, they do such a great job. Please please please save CHUCK, the Nerd Herd, Captain Awesome and Ellie!

  412. Ashley on April 30th, 2009 9:45 am

I love love love this show! It’s my Monday night break from wedding planning. Please don’t take it away I’ll turn into bridezilla!!!

  413. Mike on April 30th, 2009 9:52 am

Chuck is one of the few shows we enjoy watching with our 6th grade daughter. It’s funny, well-written, and has plenty of humor for us ‘older’ folks. Cancelling this would be, what’s the word – stupid?

  414. Amanda on April 30th, 2009 9:59 am

chuck is the only show i HAVE to watch on tv.
    it is my favorite.
the reason why i love chuck so much is that is has comedy, romance, action, drama, and everything. it’s a great mixture of everything!

    PLEASE SAVE CHUCK!

    please…

    SAVECHUCK SAVECHUCK SAVECHUCK!!!!
I love this show – Monday nights would not be the same without the Nerd Herd, Buy More and Chuck. This show is good clean fun – makes me laugh (especially Casey’s growls and facial experessions). It is a fantastic combo of The Avengers, Remington Steele and Get Smart – please don’t cancel it!

  416. Johnny NerdHerd on April 30th, 2009 10:08 am

Say it ain’t so, Sasha Banachek! Buffy, Angel, Journeyman, BSG, Terminator: SCC, now Chuck? Hopefully cable can pick up Chuck and Terminator. Why give 5 nights of Leno in primetime? It just means 5 more hours of sleep a week for me. We’re witnessing the downfall of man. This is just another log on the fire.

  417. Kevin on April 30th, 2009 10:25 am

    Save Chuck!

My wife and I watch Chuck every Monday! It’s why I look forward to Monday nights. Don’t take it away!!!

  418. D.L. Shiloh on April 30th, 2009 10:26 am

CHUCK needs to be renewed…it’s funny, smart, and light entertainment all at once. Adding Scott Bakula recently to the mix as Chuck’s Dad was a stroke of genius. It’s something my wife (Oprah & The View fan) can watch with our 16 year old son (he’ sinto metal music)…the finale, where Chuck reloads the Intersect and learns kung fu, was hilarious.

Chuck is a story about an average guy. He dares to not just dream, but do – he has a good lesson for life to be bodacious. Be Bold…be daring…

so NBC, your call letters need to be changed to:

    NEW
    BODACIOUS
    CHUCK

  419. Kim on April 30th, 2009 10:33 am

    CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watch this with my family and we all laugh. I find that it one of about three shows I watch religiously. NBC has been a wasteland for entertainments over the past but now has become one of the most viewed stations in my home. Chuck is the main reason!

Save Chuck, Sarah, Colonel Casey and the crew our nation is experiencing desperate times and we need the Intersect to secure our future!

  420. Matt on April 30th, 2009 10:33 am

    Save Chuck…..
It is the best show on TV these days….

  421. James on April 30th, 2009 10:41 am

Chuck is the reason I look forward to Mondays. It is by far my favorite TV show and it has revolutionized what I expect from a quality show. I can’t remember the last time a show made me laugh out loud as much as Chuck does.

I can honestly say this will be my first & only show that I’ve ever wanted saved. SAVE CHUCK!

  422. Brad Engler on April 30th, 2009 10:52 am

NBC cares abut profit – everyone should go online and buy Chuck gear…I’ve included the link. And no I don’t work for NBC or GE or any affiliated company…if enough people buy Chuck gear in the next couple days, NBC may be more inclined to bring it back. If not, you can always return it, right?

  423. Winnie on April 30th, 2009 11:03 am

I love Chuck! It is by far my favorite television show on the air and I hope it will continue to entertain the masses for at least another year!

  424. Shannon Cummings on April 30th, 2009 11:11 am

I’ll quit watching NBC shows altogether if they cancel Chuck. It’s one of the only shows my husband and I watch together and can’t wait to see every week!!!

  425. Sandra on April 30th, 2009 11:12 am

I watch almost no live TV, but I do watch Chuck every week on my DVR. Are the ratings taking into account those of us who watch our favorite shows from DVR or online?

There is so little enjoyable programming on network television right now that I can’t imagine NBC even considering the cancellation of a show that attracts an intelligent, educated, spending demographic.

    Be smart, NBC. Keep Chuck!

  426. Hector on April 30th, 2009 11:13 am

PLease save chuck… i love this show..

  427. Martin on April 30th, 2009 11:17 am

    SAVE CHUCK!!
This is one of many shows that I DVR every week, but the only one that I get exited about during the day.
Great mix of comedy, romance and action. After every episode I get upset I have to wait a whole week to get more!

  428. Sam on April 30th, 2009 11:22 am

Save CHUCK, I love those nerds!

  429. Randie on April 30th, 2009 11:23 am

If NBC decides to cancel this show, I will ban them in my house. They have no other decent programs on TV to watch, most of their shows seem to flop. My kids and I sit down every Monday night to watch the show, they are 11 and 8. Both find it hilarious and enjoy the action & drama that goes with it. There is nothing remotely close to this kind of show out there.

I had hope that NBC would maybe listen to the fan base after they butchered Knight Rider, a show I loved as a kid. They took my memories of a great show and make it ridiculous. Fan’s tried to explain to them what they could have done to the show to make it more enjoyable, but they didn’t listen.

Please NBC listen to your fans…for a change.

  430. Scott Sullivan on April 30th, 2009 11:35 am

Chuck is really the only show I DVR religiously. I actually schedule my house’s ironing to fall into the 8-9 PM hour so that I can watch and DVR. That way, not only can I watch it then, but I can rewatch it 2-3 more times.

Chuck has some of the wittiest dialogue I’ve ever seen on TV. And you can’t go wrong with a show involving Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin.

Please, let us have more Chuck!

  431. Jon G. on April 30th, 2009 11:38 am

I honestly can’t believe we are having to save Chuck. I thought Chuck would have been up for a NBC Thursday spot (especially when I have heard such negative comments from the Parks and Recreation critics. I can’t imagine what Monday nights would be like without Chuck. NBC is in trouble and needs to realize Chuck is the “Seinfeld” to the Office’s “Friends”!!!!!!

  432. Tom Irish on April 30th, 2009 11:39 am

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but Monday seems to be my night for it when I do and Chuck is a big part of the reason for that… I hope they don’t cancel it.

  433. Brad on April 30th, 2009 11:45 am

I can’t believe that a great show like ‘Chuck’ has been put in such a compromising situation. This show is the perfect blend of comedy, action and even a fun romantic plot line. It is a breath of fresh air from the usual over the top action(24), over dramatized (grey’s anatomy, Private Practice, southland), reality giants(American idol, Dancing with the stars), and typical gritty crime drama (law and order).

It such a unique show and it’s a shame is it overshadowed by some of prime time tv’s giants(House, How I met your mother, two and a half men). They all share the same fan base and since chuck is the youngest out of these shows it is hard to pull the ratings that NBC is looking for, however the dvr, downloads and hulu numbers are through the roof. NBC should find a new time slot for this show so it actually has a chance to survive, and it can pull the great ratings that it deserves. A thought is maybe cut their loss with Heroes and give Chuck that time slot. The season finale for chuck was liked more than the heroes one by a good margin, and the ratings numbers were very close(while there were new episodes of HIMYM, Two and a half men and House airing on other networks)

NBC don’t make another mistake and kill a show that has such a huge fan following. Scrubs on ABC did very well for the 8th season you weren’t interested in, and as a fan of the show it was one of it’s best seasons to date. So how about figuring out a new time slot, renewing it and give ‘Chuck’ a chance to thrive.

    -Brad

  434. Paul on April 30th, 2009 11:46 am

There is no reason Chuck shoud not stay on TV. It is one of the more entertaining shows on NBC, along with Medium, Life, Heroes. There is just something about the characters and the setting that make this show always fun to watch and I make sure I never miss it.

  435. LW on April 30th, 2009 11:47 am

Chuck is an awesome show! Haven’t missed an episode. Need to be renewed for a 3rd season. DO NOT CANCEL!!!!

  436. PandJ on April 30th, 2009 11:48 am

We don’t watch TV but we’r now looking 4ward to Chuck’s night. Chuck lures us back to NBC. We even dutifully record the show if we have to leave the house at 8:00pm monday night. We love Chuck & Sarah ofcourse, but we also love his cool buddies at BuyMore & Casey too. Actually we love everyone showed up at the show. Even Chuck didn’t want to go back to a normal life so he can be w/Sarah. Chuck shows us the friendships that we thought only exist in “Friends” . So we must save Chuck!!!

  437. Brad on April 30th, 2009 11:50 am

I also like the idea i just read up there about throwing it on the Thursday line up. My name is earl is on it’s last leg and parks and recreation is a horrible rip off of the office. I think that is a great idea!!!

Chuck, The office, and 30 rock. It would truly be in i’ts element there and would see great ratings!

    Brad

  438. Mark Andrews on April 30th, 2009 11:51 am

I love CHUCK! This is a totally great show. How can they even think of cancelling it? Can we get an email address of these network folks to bombard them with emails?

  439. Charles on April 30th, 2009 11:52 am

Chuck is a great all around show. The blend of humor, action, and romance is perfect. Please save one of the top shows on TV now.

  440. allchuckedup on April 30th, 2009 11:52 am

  441. Ben W. on April 30th, 2009 11:55 am

Chuck must be saved… Orion said so. Seriously this is an awesome show with great writing and clever jokes and allusions. I hope NBC sees the light on this one.

    -Ben

  442. Michael Vayder on April 30th, 2009 11:55 am

This is by far the best show on television. NBC would be a fool not to renew it, and they would lose a lot of viewers.

    SAVE CHUCK!!

  443. Luke on April 30th, 2009 11:59 am

The only tv show I watch is Chuck…great story lines, good characters, and some funny stuff that goes on…It would be a mistake if NBC does not give Chuck at least another season to grow/develop and capture more fans…I hope to see new episodes of Chuck next fall…

  444. Bob on April 30th, 2009 11:59 am

They will cancel it and put another garbage reality show in its place. Its really too bad that the networks do business like this. Its no longer about entertaining the masses as much as how much can they profit. I for one love watching Chuck, its fun, humerous and requires a brain.

  445. Matthew on April 30th, 2009 12:00 pm

Please save this show. Its one of the few shows my girlfriend and I both agree on and love. We’ve both recommended it to friends and haven’t had a negative response back yet.

  447. AJ on April 30th, 2009 12:07 pm

One of the only truly great comedies on TV right now that have action, drama, suspense and comedy all rolled into one. In a world of reality TV and supernatural sci-fi, Chuck is a welcome breath of fresh air. They simply can’t cancel this one!!!

  448. Daric S. on April 30th, 2009 12:07 pm

I love Chuck, if NBC cancels this show they would be crazy, it is a great good clean entertaining show. I’m sorry but I do not like to watch 9 thousand reality TV (Dancing With the Stars/American Idol) clones, I actually like a storyline to my shows!!!!!!

  457. Doug Koch on April 30th, 2009 12:31 pm

I have watched this show since the beginning and find it to be one of the most entertaining shows on television. I only watch it on HULU so if they are not counting HULU watches then I am failing CHUCK in a big way. I hope they are counting it…if not, they need to wake up…as it is wave of the future. Especially for future Nerd Herders!! LOL! SAVE CHUCK!!!!!

  458. Mike on April 30th, 2009 12:32 pm

Chuck is a great show. It is funny, intriguing and suspenseful. But something that the whole family can watch. The ending was great. I called it Chuck 2.0. I can’t wait for the next episode.

  459. Ronald on April 30th, 2009 12:34 pm

People say I watch too much t.v., and even I admit this is the only show I actually tune in to watch. If there’s one reason this show has to be saved, it’s this:

I really, really, really, REALLY want to see Chuck and Sarah get together. If that happens, I’m happy. If not, I’ll never forgive NBC. I’m pretty sure everyone else won’t either.

  460. Jerry on April 30th, 2009 12:35 pm

I love this show. It is a great mix of action, romance & humor. Now that they have added “programmed talent” into Chuck’s new intersect I think it can be even better.

    SAVE THIS SHOW.

  461. Rick on April 30th, 2009 12:38 pm

Please save chuck. It is my favority show on T.V. right now. The writing is very smart and very funny. The music is great and you instantly fall in love with all of the characters. NBC please do not cancel Chuck, I know a ton of college kids who watch this show but they watch it on-line, not on Monday nights. Im sure there is a very large fan base for this show.

  462. Mike on April 30th, 2009 12:38 pm

  463. Wormy on April 30th, 2009 12:40 pm

Best show on TV and the only good thing about Mondays. It would be a complete shame to cancel this show. Cheers and Seinfeld were almost cancelled…I wonder if the network would have regretted those decisions.

  464. Darryl on April 30th, 2009 12:40 pm

Can’t believe they would cancel so a good show. Its the only one I watch. Chuck goes I not watching that station anymore.

  465. Tim on April 30th, 2009 12:40 pm

Please Save Chuck. It is the show I look most forward to watching each week. As the CNN article reports, it takes me away from the mess of life and I get to enjoy great entertainment for an hour on Monday nights! Great way to relieve the case of the Mondays!

    SAVE CHUCK!

  466. Bryan on April 30th, 2009 12:43 pm

    S A V E Chuck!

Ellie is all married and stuff.
    So come on SAVE CHUCK!!!!

  467. Cliff on April 30th, 2009 12:43 pm

They must keep this show, this beat out all the other shoes I have been watching on any network. This is one show I can truly say has got better each episode and each character is important. It mixes drama, action, comedy in perfect harmony. Now the intersect knows kung fu! This mixes all kinds of old movies and makes a very unique show.

  468. DD on April 30th, 2009 12:48 pm

I love Chuck and would hate to see it go away. But the BEST way to save the show is to stop watching it …

    … on TV.

Watch it on Hulu or NBC.com. Boost viewership online, where NBC can track it. The only way it matters to watch it on TV is if you happen to be one of the five geezers with a Nielsen box.

  469. Allen N. on April 30th, 2009 12:49 pm

  473. Jeff on April 30th, 2009 12:55 pm

I rarely watch shows on the major TV networks. I’m convinced that cable channels are the only ones investing in interesting storylines and engaging characters. The standout exceptions have been NBC’s Chuck and Heroes. Maybe Chuck isn’t a particularly deep show, but it has a solid everyman character (numerous everyman characters!) that people relate to. The show touches on important and timely themes like self-sacrifice and duty to one’s friends. And you can’t beat the sweet way the main characters embody the concept of unrequited love.

Chuck is genuine! NBC should be trying to attract viewers like me back to their network with such quality shows. It would be a shame to replace a star like Chuck with yet another amoral reality show.

  474. Adam on April 30th, 2009 12:57 pm

Chuck is one of THE funniest shows on TV and one of the very few shows I make a point to watch each week. Cancelling Chuck would truly be a tragedy. Why would you throw away one of your best shows NBC?!?

Keep it and I’ll buy a footlong from Subway or maybe even 10!

  475. Michael on April 30th, 2009 12:59 pm

Chuck is one of the freshest new shows with a plot that actually works each week. It blends comedy, drama, mystery, and intrigue perfectly. I have this programmed each week and actually don’t mind Monday’s because of it. Monday’s right now have a perfect 2 hours of Chuck and Heroes. Taking Chuck off the air just tells me the networks are afraid to keep shows on the air too long so the cast can’t get the upper hand due to popularity. Note to NBC, if your going to end shows then stop leaving the final episode open. I’m tired of watching good shows ends without closure. Chuck though should go another season at least. That last episode gives them “so” many directions to go and have a lot more fun with this. Pefect writing, perfect cast, love the show!!!

  476. Steve on April 30th, 2009 1:06 pm

Are you kidding me????? Canceling Chuck would be the most boneheaded corporate decision since Fox canceled Futurama and Family Guy. The Chuck episode, “Rush is the secret to Missile Command” was the best 60 minutes on TV of the entire decade.

This from the network that shot down “Top Gear: United States” because, paraphrasing their words, “Knight Rider was not a success, so obviously people don’t want to see shows about cars”.

NBC: For once, I need you to be awesome. Can you BE awesome???

  477. Jimmy Dunn on April 30th, 2009 1:10 pm

I don’t consider myself a nerd. In fact, I am a 57 year old CFO of a manufacturing company. But Chuck is the only TV show I watch with any regularity (I don’t miss it). I loved the season final. Just what I wanted to happen. Yes, Chuck must stay! Else, I’m selling my TV.

  478. J Costello on April 30th, 2009 1:11 pm

This is such a feel-good show. The characters are so bizarre (Jeff, Lester) that they continuously crack me up. It’s just one of those shows that when it’s over you realize you have a smile on your face and can’t wait for next week to see.

  479. Deirdre on April 30th, 2009 1:14 pm

Chuck is one of the few shows we can watch as a family. It’s hilarious, celebrates intelligence rather than insolence or a pretty face, and my 11 year old enjoys it as much as the adults. Please keep it around!!!

And Subway, if you’re listening, we’ll start a Monday night dinner ritual while we watch Chuck!

  480. Tory on April 30th, 2009 1:18 pm

Save Chuck! It’s the only thing worth watching on Monday nights. I love this show!

  481. Vino on April 30th, 2009 1:21 pm

Chuck has been taking care of my case-of-the-Mondays for two seasons now. NBC, if you’re listening, please renew Chuck for one more season…we, the fans, promise to deliver you the ratings. Cancel Jay Leno if you have to. He’s always sucked and I don’t think I can take 5 days of that idiot any longer.

  482. Erica on April 30th, 2009 1:21 pm

Chuck is one of the few shows that my husband and I can enjoy together. We each get someone cute to look at, and John Casey kicks butt! C’mon NBC…you’ll have Jay Leno on 5 nights a week in the 10pm slot (doomed to fail) but you’ll cancel this smart, funny show with great writing and acting? KEEP CHUCK!!!

I’m 60 years old, married for 40 years, and own my own business. I can think of only 4 TV Shows worth watching today, and Chuck is one of them. It is unique, fun, excellent characters, and cleverly written. Don’t get rid of a good thing.

  490. Ritter on April 30th, 2009 1:34 pm

Chuck is probably the best show on television. If NBC cancels Chuck, I will boycott every other show on that network. I’m not kidding about this.

I absolutely adore Chuck. There is so much garbage on television lately. I hate reality shows. I do not find the comedies that are on very funny. I look forward to watching Chuck. This is a wonderful show – it is funny, utterly entertaining and just enjoyable.

  493. Sue B on April 30th, 2009 1:41 pm

Quality entertainment for the whole family. It’s young and fresh with an interesting story line each week.

Please not another rerun of Law and Order or another reality show. Chuck and his buddies are nerds, underdogs. Many American can relate to him at this time in our history with our economy on a down ward slide. We need a little humor to put a smile on our faces at the end of the day!

Please save Chuck or CLICK I’ll have to switch the station.

  494. Greg on April 30th, 2009 1:47 pm

Chuck is one of the few shows that are can’t-miss each week with The Office and to a lesser extent, Heroes. I even relegated Big Bang Theory & How I Met Your Mother, shows I also really enjoy that were can’t-miss each week, to catching later because I make sure I watch Chuck first. It’s bad enough right now that the season is over and there won’t be any new episodes. It would be downright terrible if the show is cancelled and there are no more episodes ever.

  495. Cory forbes on April 30th, 2009 2:10 pm

I am a 37 year old with kids and no social life, I live for Chuck each week. SAVE CHUCK! This is best series in years and I have to admit I was shocked when I heard it might be cancelled, I assumed everyone was watching it.

  497. Stephanie on April 30th, 2009 2:20 pm

Chuck is such a unique show, very different from anything else on TV. It is consistently entertaining and fresh – unlike so many other shows these days. NBC would be insane to cancel such a great show!

  498. Jeff on April 30th, 2009 2:22 pm

I love watching Chuck. I did not start watching it regularly until the second season. I just did not have the time. I watch heroes so it has worked out to watch that while I wait. Now I actually can’t wait to watch Chuck and Heroes is just a bonus. There is so much great comedy and action in the show. I find myself laughing so loud. My wife gets a kick out of watching me. I think it is a great series and should be saved.

  499. Debra Williams on April 30th, 2009 2:26 pm

SAVE CHUCK! This is personal. Chuck is the only show that I must be at home to watch. This is the best show out there and I’m just totally blown away that the network might cancel the show. This is pure quality television at its best – great cast and content. There’s no show like it. This would be terrible. SAVE MY CHUCK!

  500. Lizzie von Kirk on April 30th, 2009 2:48 pm

Dear Jeff Zucker & the rest of the NBC family —

    SAVE CHUCK!!!!

It is the ONLY show my fiance and I live for each week — we DVR it, and get so giddy when we have an episode to watch. I LOVE it. Its a great combination of comedy, action, romance, family — its got a little something for everyone, along with a KILLER soundtrack. The dialogue is well-written (I don’t know how many times I’ve said “Unleash the Casey”), with dynamic characters who seem quite real despite unrealistic situations.

So, please NBC, don’t be hasty: give Chuck a chance!! What is Chuck’s life going to look like now that he knows Kung Fu? Will they keep Scott Bakula around to play the part of Orion (I sure hope so!)? What will happen to Jeff, Lester and the rest of the Nerd Herd? So many questions that NEED answers!!!

We don’t want or need another Law & Order or reality series. Chuck is what we need — give the people what they need.

Please don’t let the CW be the only place where one can get a peak into the mind of Josh Schwartz — I just can’t bring myself to watch “Gossip Girl”. By cancelling “Chuck”, you will leave me no choice. And I will have to turn my back on NBC forever.

    Sincerely —
One, of many, concerned “Chuck” fans

  501. DavidRF on April 30th, 2009 2:53 pm

I hate to say it, but if the network’s determined to axe the show, this effort will likely have no effect. When ABC announced Pushing Daisies was going to be canceled, the fans launched a HUGE campaign to try to save it by signing a petition, sending cards, letters, photos of the cast, pies, flowers, daisy seeds, etc, to the executives at ABC and Disney. Didn’t work, obviously. Unless NBC can be swayed whereas ABC was not, “Chuck” will likely be axed.

You want to try to save the show? Get the numbers up BIG for the next few airings. Unless there’s big ratings bump (and the Nielsen system is a god forsaken outdate piece of crap way of telling who’s watching a show),to justify keeping it around, nothing else will likely have an effect. They’re watching the numbers…and if the numbers aren’t there, any show in this position likely won’t survive. Daisies didn’t, and it was one of the best shows on at the time.

  502. Give Me My Remote on April 30th, 2009 2:57 pm

David – With all due respect to your opinion, the PUSHING DAISIES campaign had no where near the strength and organization as the CHUCK campaign. I was well aware of all the Daisy efforts and fully supported them. I think it’s a travesty that a show as special as PUSHING DAISIES couldn’t survive but I understood why. Many factors contributed to the cancelation of that show.

Please know that the foundation for the Chuck campaign which was launched a few week prior to you reading this was more about getting new people to watch the show. You and I are on the same page with that one – networks respond to ratings. Sadly, ratings don’t tell the whole store.

  503. Justine on April 30th, 2009 3:19 pm

I hope they renew this show for another season, it is one of the few shows I watch real time and look forward to seeing what happens every week. I always get a good laugh at the creative things they do.

  504. Carol Piza on April 30th, 2009 3:25 pm

What is left to say? You have a smartly written, well acted show and yet it is threatened with cancellation while we are bombarded with more and more Reality TV?? Are you kidding?

Chuck is one of the few shows on network TV that is worth watching! Come on, the networks have screwed us over with darned near every special show that has come along! HELLO… There really are people out here who want to see something fun and smart.

Please, please bring Chuck back! (and keep Scott Bakula on while you are at it – he is still adorable).

  505. DavidRF on April 30th, 2009 3:32 pm

“yet it is threatened with cancellation while we are bombarded with more and more Reality TV??”

This is because reality TV is cheap to roll out and the lemmings out there love to watch it. The Bachelor is a prime example of this. The show’s premise is idiotic, yet it keeps coming back year after year.

  506. Cindi on April 30th, 2009 3:37 pm

Please save Chuck! This is the one show that the whole family enjoys.

  507. Sarah Perkins on April 30th, 2009 3:46 pm

Chuck is that rarity in primetime television: a show that is action-packed, well-written, heart-wrenching, and hilarious, all in one shiny, lovable package. Give this show a chance!

  508. shaun on April 30th, 2009 3:51 pm

  510. Amy on April 30th, 2009 4:00 pm

I love Chuck and have been a fan since day one! It has something for everyone and I am shocked that it is even being considered for cancellation. I religiously watch every Monday, DVR it, and usually immediately re-watch the episode after it’s over to see it again. It has surpassed all other shows for me and is my hands down favorite. I don’t have a Nielsen box and don’t know anyone who does, but have plenty of friends who watch Chuck.
    Please NBC: Chuck me!

I’ll buy Subway every Monday too!

  511. Heather on April 30th, 2009 4:04 pm

I’m gonna be so ticked if the Subway thing doesn’t work. Ticked at NBC mostly. All networks have gotten horrible about sticking so doggedly to Nielsen when common sense tells them they no longer need to. There are so many more ways to judge a show’s popularity. Besides, even if Chuck isn’t getting the viewership they want–and I’m not saying it isn’t, just if–they still need to pay attention to the viewers they do have. Chuck watchers aren’t necessarily the same ones who make the top 10 or so shows so popular. If Chuck goes, that doesn’t mean we’ll automatically gravitate to the top 10 because ‘oh well, that’s just what’s on.’ Maybe we’ll surf the net a bit more. The point it, losing viewers is bad. Sure, maybe those top 10 will draw a good percentage of viewers still, but isn’t overall viewership still important? After all, a 20% share of 10 million viewers means more than a 20% share of only 8 million. (No, the numbers mean nothing–they just illustrate a point). I just wish all networks, especially the big 3–nbc, cbs, and abc–would wake up and realize Nielsen doesn’t work anymore. It is WAY past time to find something that does. Oh, and btw, product placement annoys the crap out of me, but at the same time, if it becomes a means of letting the powers that be know what shows we want to see AND they pay attention to that, I can live with it. Bring on more Subway at the Buy More. Have Sarah work for Dairy Queen. Have Chuck get down with some Axe deodorant. Whatever. Small purchases like that are worth the sacrifice to keep a good show. Just let us know you’re taking us seriously when your ad efforts work. Keep Chuck, or risk losing the faith of some viewers forever.

  512. scott on April 30th, 2009 4:05 pm

Best show on TV. Great acting and superb writing. Long live Jeffster!

  513. Stephanie Walker on April 30th, 2009 4:13 pm

    Save Chuck.
    We love Chuck.

  514. Davey Frost on April 30th, 2009 4:45 pm

I started watching Chuck at the suggestion of a friend a few months ago. After watching the show on Hulu I was determined to see every past episode I missed. It seems to me, like others have stated, it really started to find its place during season 2 and it is one of those shows that I MUST watch. I don’t watch much tv in the first place, but I have to watch Chuck. I agree with others, if NBC changed the time slot – say before or after 30 Rock – they would probably get a lot more viewers. How can they end season 2 so spectacularly and not give us a season 3?

  515. Amy Johnson on April 30th, 2009 5:07 pm

I LOVE Chuck! I will seriously stop watching NBC all together if they cancel the show.

  516. Tom and Lisa on April 30th, 2009 6:21 pm

Chuck is one of the shows my wife and I enjoy watching together and is certainly better than 90% of what passes for TV these days. I am not a fan of the so-called ‘reality’ shows and enjoy a well written, well acted comedy-adventure-drama-romance. Chuck has it all and is certainly worth renewing for another year. In fact, I was recently on a business trip that put me in a different time zone: I was talking to my wife on the phone and realized Chuck was on – I said “Chuck is on, I gotta go” and she totally understood, and watched it herself an hour later. SAVE CHUCK!

  517. carol ann on April 30th, 2009 6:32 pm

Having been given the job to maintain our network and 35 computers at work without ever having had a class (I had the office closest to the server) I am considered the Nerd Herd Department at my company. Go Nerds!!! Never knew I was but now proud to now be one. SAVE CHUCK – It helps me make it through an all IT Monday.

NBC ….. can you be awesome for fans of scripted, imaginative televion??
Please, bring back Chuck. I’m not in your main demo… I’m over 49, but I still spend lots of money – even went to Subway before the finale. I watch it live, then often watch it again on NBC.com

  520. Jack on April 30th, 2009 9:39 pm

This is really the only show worth going out my way to see. The writing is excellent, and they don’t have to resort to lame flashbacks/flashforwards to keep things moving.

Yes, I’m picking on Heroes, which has lost its way, but seems to be solid for renewal.

Given a choice, get rid of Heroes, and keep Chuck – easily the best show on TV.

Chuck is a great new show. I have watched it since the TV strike. Now since the second season has come about, it has gotten a lot better. It reminds me of how the show runs Like Best Buy & the Geek Squad but with a twist. I have not missed a sow yet. I also watch the show on the internet. With the last episode, Chuck now has a better computer in his head which in turn can help him kick some meager ass. Give the show more time to grow, with the stuff that’s coming up next season on NBC, with Leno moving to an earlier spot, NBC has to save some of its good prime time line up’s.

  524. The Intersect on May 1st, 2009 12:08 am

Proof again that network execs need to get out more rather than relying on those little boxes hooked up to a select few TVs. I think I am going to flash…yes I see me not watching NBC if they cancel Chuck.

  525. AJ on May 1st, 2009 3:03 am

Please don’t cancel Chuck! It is the best show on TV hands down! Great characters and the storyline line has everything from action to a love-story. I don’t watch a ton of TV, but Chuck is one show I MUST watch! Besides, what’s great about Monday except Chuck? If you want to move time slots or days, do it, just don’t cancel the show…. PLEASE!

  528. David on May 1st, 2009 10:03 am

They can’t cancel the show now! Chuck just got the new intersect in his head and “knows kung-fu”. This show is absolutely fantastic, with it’s mix of humor and action. It definately has my vote for renewal!

  529. Nick on May 1st, 2009 10:36 am

I would just like to say that I love watching Chuck. I had the first season on DVD so I could watch it again. Now me and my girlfriend are hooked. The only problem with the TV ratings, is that I am a member of the military and surprise surprise, I don’t have cable to watch Chuck, so I have to stream it which doesn’t go into the television ratings, BUT I STILL WATCH IT ALL THE TIME!!! I wonder how many other devoted fans watch Chuck on NBC.com because they can’t get home in time to watch it on Monday’s.

  533. BrandonC on May 1st, 2009 6:01 pm

Chuck is the best, if NBC cancels it I will take it personally. It is by far one of my favorite shows, I may even consider boycotting NBC period if this happens and I am a loyal follower of many of its shows including The Office, Heroes, Life and 30 Rock.

Just once I wish the networks would actually listen to its customer base instead of catering to the shareholders, eventually you will piss us off to the point you wont have anyone watching ANY of your shows including Hulu. Then what will your shareholders do?

Furthermore the Neilson rating system is archaic and needs to be overhauled.

Ok. I’m not all that fond of TV – can’t stand most reality shows and got sick of Heroes midway into the second season. I’m picky. But I am hooked on Chuck! It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure to enjoy a TV show – SO MUCH! Sophisticated, silly, sexy and sassy – all in one. Kudos to the writers of the last three shows on season 2 – truly some of the best TV ever. This is classic stuff in the making and it would be a top show if it had a better time slot. Too bad TV executives-like the MBAs who ruined the financial system-get so focused on the bottom line they are unable to comprehend quality and a program that could build an audience over time. With the new twist of chuck having real spy powers and a seque away from the BuyMore, It opens up a plethora of exciting international plots (I’m still digging on the nerd herd to become the collective Q for Our Man Chuck. It’s too good to fail!

I have pretty much given up on television all together, EXCEPT for CHUCK it’s the only show I found worth watching, SOoooo fed up with “Reality” TV!!

Chuck is a fantastic show. I look forward to it every week. It just seems like all the good show get canned. Why can a show with critical reception when you’re just going to replace it with a crappy show that will likely get canned after one season? There are so few quality shows left, and they all seem to be getting replaced with terrible shows. Take Pushing Daisies. Tremendous show. Got canceled and guess what replaced it. Better Offted. 10 mill says it gets canned this or next year. This always happens, so please, please. Do everything you can to save the show. I know I will.

There’s no way they can cancel Chuck. I mean, come on. Hopefully NBC isn’t that crazy (just imagine if Chuck were on ABC, though…we wouldn’t even be having this conversation because it’d already be canceled).

I’m cautiously optimistic that Chuck will be renewed, and if NBC has any idea of what they’re doing, they’ll tap into all this positive(?) publicity and make something of it.

    Don’t take Chuck away!!!

  548. Rachel on May 3rd, 2009 1:45 am

PLEASE SAVE CHUCK!!! TV is dominated by reality shows, more reality shows, and crime dramas. Although I enjoy dramas, I gravitate towards shows that make me laugh. There are few shows that I must see every week, one of which is Chuck. What sets Chuck apart from all the others is the clever, quirky writing; the combination of action, romance, drama and comedy; and of course, the actors and their characters. Each show pulls me in, makes me laugh out loud, root for Sarah and Chuck, and wish for more. I LOVE Chuck! It’s a refreshing break from other prime time shows, and you come away from it feeling good. How many other shows do that?
There’s not a single character I don’t like. Like, who in the world thought of Jeffster? You can’t help but laugh. And now they’ve added Scott Bakula and Chevy Chase to the cast—it’s fantastic! I was a huge Quantum Leap fan, and he’s the perfect choice as Chuck and Ellie’s dad. It’s also fun to watch Chevy Chase as the bad guy. All the more reason to keep Chuck.
Not all successful shows found their audience right away—Seinfeld, even 30 Rock. I fell in love with 30 Rock from the get-go. Critics recognized the original, off-beat humor, but it didn’t gain a wider audience until Tina Fey drew attention for her unforgettable Sarah Palin impersonation.
There’ve been some great suggestions: move Chuck to another, more prominent night; beef up the advertising (like the 3-D show after the Super Bowl or keep working with Subway); or run season two over the summer to snag more viewers into season 3.
I want to know what other skills Chuck gets from the new intersect. What happens to Morgan? Does he really move to Hawaii? What about the Buy More? Does Chuck become a full-time spy? There’s obviously a new enemy besides Fulcrum. Who are they? What about Chuck’s dad, who also has the intersect in his head? What will happen to him? I have to know!!!

  549. Lynne on May 3rd, 2009 7:51 am

  552. Ron on May 3rd, 2009 12:19 pm

Please don’t cancel Chuck. By FAR, it’s the best show on TV at the moment. I was into a lot of shows for a long time, but none have ever made me wish to rush my life ahead to get to the next episode. The writing for the show is beyond amazing. Actually, it’s one of the only shows that the writing is good. The emotional battles along with plenty of action scenes is a prefect mix for all viewers, all ages. I teach 5th grade and make my kids watch Chuck. And please, don’t forget about the amazing cast who obviously have such a chemistry together. I’d also like to complement all the behind the scenes people on the show too as the show couldn’t be as good without them. SAVE CHUCK, I need a good TV show to watch. Enough reality TV.

Chuck should definitely continue. Its a funny well made series filled with good looking, charming, smart, people. It is the show I most look forward too each week. The premiss of it isn’t even close to becoming tired, unlike say Heroes or Lost. Don’t even mention the never ending sameness of CSI xxxx or the American Idol/Dancing with Stars. Plus why do they Load the Monday/Thursday schedules and leave Weds/Fri way soft. Unlike many people I choose the nights to go out based on whats on TV. Oh plus with the economy being slow I can’t afford to go out very much so please spread out the good shows to at least cover Mon -Thurs. So I vote no cancell move to Tues/Weds but avoid Scrubs and House conflicts please.

What on earth is NBC thinking that they might not bring CHUCK back, oh right they aren’t thinking. CHUCK is original, bright, funny, good clean fun, exciting, interesting, sexy, what makes Monday night AWESOME. I watch CHUCK before anything else on Monday. We use to watch House, when NBC put CHUCK against House it is House that gets recorded on the DVR to watch later CHUCK gets watched live and also recorded on the DVR to enjoy again because you can never get enough of Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Morgan, Ellie, Awesome, and the whole Buy More Gang. If NBC doesn’t bring CHUCK back, I am done with NBC. I think NBC will be surprised how many CHUCK fans like me turn NBC off completely if they don’t hear the heart felt love we all have for CHUCK and renew CHUCK. No show that is this great should have to fight so hard to stay alive. NBC has already canceled their second best show LIFE, CHUCK is a breath of fresh air on this fading network don’t make another horrible decision and cancel it too. WE LOVE CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  561. Sarah on May 5th, 2009 10:38 am

I hope someone saves this show! I am tired of seeing shows like this taken off the air and replaced with Law and Orders and shows that are frankly not funny…or worse some show about overly rich people pining away in their tough horrible lives…

It is about a guy who works at a retail store and something happening to him in a fantastic way. It is a break from reality and the horrible dark shows that NBC is shoving down our throats. Please NBC keep around one of the bright shows and stop worrying with the ratings you see on a single night. People now a days have to work and even though you don’t think they are watching…we are. That is what DVR’s are for…shouldn’t you networks understand this by now?

    Thank you for listening

  564. Eric L. on May 5th, 2009 1:54 pm

Chuck is a family show and on Monday nights it brings my family together. I can’t even count how many other shows have done that. Oh, that’s right NONE.

I think it was John Lennon who said “Give Chuck a chance” or maybe it was peace. If Chuck is chopped from the line up it will be Rest In Peace NBC at our house.

I hope NBC comes to its senses. My final words on this subject (for now) are…Wake up and smell the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki.

  565. Rich Naran on May 5th, 2009 2:27 pm

I didn’t become a Chuck fan until about half way through the first season. I caught two consecutively and then found myself going online to catch all the episodes I missed. This season I caught all the episodes on Monday. Yeah, I wanted a third season but in hopes the finale wasn’t Fonzie jumping the shark. I’d like to see if they can meet the challenge they created for themselves.

I’ve been a fan since the pilot and, well, the show has only gotten better as the series has went on. The first season was fantastic, but they really upped the ante in Season 2. It can only get better from here. Heroes, by comparison, has really taken a decline whereas Chuck’s stock is on the rise! NBC must be out of their gourd to even consider canceling Chuck. Seriously.

the Fans have spoken CHUCK ME !!!! we are all just sick with the way that networks cancel shows for something as dumb as so called low ratings sure Chuck has not hit the 10 million viewer mark but that does not matter alot of really bad shows have less viewers than Chuck and yet they were renewed back in january . I have been a nerd herder from the get go my mondays used to be like this Chuck then kyle xy we all seen what abc did to kyle xy and that is one of the many reasons we need to save our beloved Chuck we can’t let the networks walk all over us I mean they still think that people really like all the so called reality shows sure they were a novelty back when it was just survivor the first season not the rest of them and maybe the amazing race is good but all the other shows please it is the same every year they find some way to humliliate people but good quality shows like Chuck with the wonderful story the writing the comedy romance and action that we all love and crave they want to throw it out based off of some antiquated rating system that was developed back in the 1920’s most people today watch shows online or on their DVR show yeah it may not be live but they are watching so my fellow herders let us keep up the pressure on NBC and if they don’t want to renew the show let us try and get it on a network that will give the show the respect that it is due

    Nerd Herd 4 Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

P.S. Sorry this was so long just venting

Well, I live in Portugal, i’ve seen the first season and it was amazing, the second show was a little more “story thing” but had a fantastic finale.
I hope just like millions of people that the show don’t goes down. I hope that some “Intelligent Guys” see this posts and think “Wow, the season atracts a lot of people, and they like it.” The story is good the actors are very good and we see the serie and stay like “wow when is the next episode”.
With a finale like that is very very sad if a new season don’t comes out.
I can say a phrase that we use “With shows like that we can’t throw them to the garbage.” Please someone remember the tv viewers and the all world people instead of money and millions.
Unfortunately today the people only see money!

See Chuck and get away from your job and your stressing life for a while. You will like it.

    Regards.

This show is the best thing since peanut butter. Heroes is doomed. Chuck offers a suitable replacement. Don’t put pressure on the writers so they feel like they need to mess with the classic formula to gain an audience; a new time slot will do that anyway. Chuck is one of NBC’s best shows. Period.

I was shocked when I found out Chuck had not been renewed yet. It has been one of my favorite shows. My wife, who watches almost no television, is even addicted to this show. It seems to be one of the few shows that men and women watch together. I admit I watch a lot of television, and if you were to ask me for the shows that most commonly come up in conversation, it would be Lost and Chuck. I still can’t get over the fact that this show is at risk. Please save Chuck!

One of the last, if not THE last remaining nights of “Must See TV” on NBC. Monday night’s “Chuck” is a delightful, smart and funny show that offers a perfect balance to the dark and always entertaining “Heroes”. Come on NBC, pull your head out and keep more inventive and entertaining shows like “Chuck” on the air.

I would be glad if someone would write the e-mail address of nbc concerning chuck, since i want to tell them it’s not only us or europe which wants to watch chuck but there are a lot of fans in turkey too!!! and you can guess that not a lot of people in fact watch foreign series or movies in english so it’s quite a prestige for nbc but it appears they blow it away.

I am afraid to check on-line on the 19th to see the decision that NBC has made regarding Chuck. My heart will just sink if they do not RENEW CHUCK. I am so afraid with some of the bad decisions they have made of late they might not do the right thing. I mean they canceled LIfe, they forced Jay Leno out of his job before he was ready, which is probably part of the reason there is even a wait on this decision on CHUCK because Jay has 5 hours of prime time TV 5 days a week. I don’t think people will follow Jay to the 9:00 p.m. time slot, and I for one don’t not like Conan. If they do not renew CHUCK, I am done with NBC, I will not go back even for Hero’s, or any new shows they come up with because they don’t realize when they have made the best show they could ever make. Here is hoping they make the right decision, to keep the masterpiece they have created in CHUCK on TV.

While I am on cloud 9 about NBC finally getting the message from all of us CHUCK fans, last night as I thought about NBC’s decision it truly saddens me that they are not giving CHUCK the total support that this truly wonderful show deserves. To cut writers, and actors on screen time is very sad. Don’t get me wrong I am totally grateful for the 13 episodes that have been ordered, but what can we do now to really push CHUCK over the top to get a full season and many more. Maybe we could all contact Direct-tv and let them know how much we love CHUCK and they would do a deal with NBC for CHUCK like they have for Friday Night Lights where they help with the cost, and get to show CHUCK first. I know because of their partnership with NBC Friday Night Lights has been renewed for 2 years, and the ratings have never been that great for Friday Night Lights. I watch Friday Night Lights and think it is a quality show too. I will continue to wear my CHUCK shirts, and I have purchased CHUCK songs from itunes, I have a Buymore shirt on order from the NBC store, and will be purchasing the second season of CHUCK the first day it is available. I have CHUCK videos on my facebook page, and continue to sing CHUCK’S praises to anyone who will listen. I am open to any other suggestions to make sure our show is on for more than the 13 ordered episodes. I TRULY LOVE THIS SHOW.

I’m am so glad that NBC renewed Chuck, but am unhappy that it won’t return until February of 2010. It seems like shows that start late in the season don’t have network support and end up not doing so well. I hope I am wrong about this one, but it’s hard to get momentum going for a show (other than one like Lost) when the hiatus is so long.

  605. Pat on May 19th, 2009 11:27 pm

On the NBC site it says it won’t be on until March 2010. That is horrible to wait that long for our next CHUCK fix. I guess I will have to watch Season 1 and Season 2 until then. Yes NBC brought CHUCK back because of our efforts, but they sure don’t seem very committed to helping it succeed. With all the buzz over the save CHUCK campaign the fall would have been the best time to have CHUCK on. With the show starting so late it sounds like there might not be much hope for the other 9 episodes they talked about. Lets blow the ratings sky high so they have to commit to a whole season in the fall of 2010. So happy CHUCK is back but they really does suck. Maybe when one of their new shows fail that they think will do so good they will bring CHUCK back earlier. NBC still doesn’t realize what they have in CHUCK, but all the fans sure do.

I’m from Turkey and i’m following the episodes by cnbc-e channel. I love the creators’ sense of humour and their ability to fit it into action. Zachari Levi is a talented actor and Adam Baldwin is the correct man for his role. Little action, little comedy: Chuck. Thet’s why i love this series. And i don’t want to be contended with 2 seasons with just 35 episodes. So please continue shooting it.

I just want to thank everyone who put forth their efforts to save “Chuck”. I am ashamed to say that I did not start watching “Chuck” until recently, but once I stated to, I was hooked. After watching a few episodes online, I went out and bought seasons 1 and 2, and in the span of two weekends, had watched every “Chuck” episode to date. Had all of “Chuck”‘s prior, loyal fans not made the effort that they did to save the show, I might never have discovered it, and that would have been a tragedy; thus, to everyone who falls into that category, thank you!!

(Let’s hear it for a forth season!)

    Hey Chuck Loving Friends,

With this homepage, we try to bring together all Chuck fans worldwide and become one team.

Now, Chuck fans from around the world are randomly distributed in more then thousand fanclubs and numerous fanpages. We are trying to build one team, a team with all the die hard Chuck fans who are willing to do their utmost to SAVE TEAM BARTOWSKI!

With this we are also bringing the facts on the table. We are going to present the result of the poll to the producers, cast, advertisers, newspapers and NBC. We want to proof to them that there is a worldwide loyal support for this show.

We know that Together Each Achieve More. Maybe we have lost a battle, but certainly not the war.

We implore you to keep on fighting together for a 5th, 10th, and 15th season. To be honest, we want more Chuck , more awesome storylines, fantastic fighthing scenes, Chuck’s friendship, Chuck’s loyalty and romance.

Unite and show your friendship, loyalty and love for this show.

This is the platform where Chuck fans from around the world can unite and become one team. We think, believe and know, that it will have more impact when there is one loud Chuck voice, instead of thousand small fan groups and numerous fanpages. Keep the thousand fan groups, keep the numerous fanpages, but at the same time…unite!

Unite, become a team and help us to give you more Chuck.

So visit our homepage and participate in maybe the final important poll!
    http://save-team-bartowski.webnode.com/

    Thank you, Simon & Richard

P.S.: One small favor…… support your fanclub, support your fanpage, unite and please spread the word.

    MORE RATTLING PORMOTION FOR CHUCK!!!!

  641. lozaloza52 on June 4th, 2011 4:36 am

Chuck is one of those shows that has it all. It’s funny, dramatic, action packed and family based. I think that it’s a great show for people, especially young people, to watch as you can learn a lot from it. Ok so you might not ever become a spy and be out in life threatening situations, but almost everyone goes through the same emotions that the characters of chuck have. Without knowing it subconsciously the show teaches us how to deal with these emotions in everyday life. But this is all done with simple fun humour and thrilling action. When my brother first introduced me to this show I was immediately captured by it. I couldn’t wait to watch the next episode. If Chuck ends then it will be a great loss, I know lots of people that would love the show if they watched it they just need someone to tell them about it. Chuck is really a great show and I will really miss watching it if it’s cancelled so please keep Chuck going for more than 13 episodes!!!

it is the best show in the world and please try to save it go on all the websites and put good comments on and do what ever it takes to save it i know i am and will

  643. Jack Gilbert on November 15th, 2011 11:24 am

Hi, my name’s Jack, here’s a few things you need to know or maybe you just forgot:
I absolutely love Chuck, i used to be bored out my skull till my friend introduced me to this, im not hugely bothered if it completely ends, it can’t drag on forever and i appreciate that, but all i ask is that it’s on british TV, or if it already is, make it more widely known in britain so more people watch it, put Chuck on British TV.
Also if people are that desperate to see Chuck still around, do a spin off or something involving his son or something like that, just make sure it’s a good actor that lives up to its predessessor
