Save One Show...CHUCK - Give Me My Remote : Give Me My Remote

Save One Show…CHUCK

April 13, 2009 by

The Watch with Kristin team has launched their annual Save One Show campaign. CHUCK is on the endangered species list this year so it’s time to pull out the big gun (and no I don’t mean Casey) and VOTE!

Yep, it’s that time again. As we speak, networks are deciding which on-the-bubble series to save and which to cancel, and that means some of our favorite shows may not see another season premiere. Sob.

But there is strength in numbers—numbers of superdedicated and devoted fans such as yourselves—even if the Nielsens refuse to stick up for the beloved likes of Chuck, Dollhouse and Privileged.

To vote, click here.

Share the link with your friends.  Even if they aren’t CHUCK fans (any why not?), still ask them to do you a favor and vote fo CHUCK.

P.S. You can vote more than one…so go crazy!

I voted for Chuck, but after the excellent finale, I really want Terminator to get renewed as well.

Just read a bunch of those posts on E! and 98% were for Chuck. They need a new way to track who watches these shows because they are obviously being viewed by more than the Nielsons think. DVR is the way it is now and they are turning more tv watchers off by screwing us over time after time this year by just pulling the plug. If this is the trend of the future, to not let us watch a whole season, then why would anyone ever try a new series again? They are training us to not ever invest in any new shows because they just take it off the air before we get a chance to watch them. I see the future, much like Demolition Man (is that the one with Sandra Bullock and Sly Stallone?) where every restaurant is Taco Bell. Every show will be a reality show. Yea. Can’t wait. I love my reality shows, but this is getting so ridiculous.

I watched Eli Stone when it was a mid-season replacement. During the fall when the first season came out on DVD, we watched it (me again, hubby first time) and it was even better on the second viewing (and all in a row). I couldn’t WAIT for the second season. I had no doubt that it would be around for a long time because the quality was so high. But when Pushing Daisies got cancelled, I knew that Eli Stone had no chance of being saved because Daisies got all the exposure and if they were going to save one, it wouldn’t be Eli Stone.

How funny that a star from each show will now be on Fox together? Go Victor Garber and Kristin Chenowith! I’ll wait to see how they do in the ratings before I invest in another new show, though. Fool me once.

They really need to change it to “Save Two Shows” so we can save Life, too.

Save Chuck. It is the only show on TV that both my husband and I watch, TIVO then watch again. We finally get some good entertaining TV shows and they get cancelled and they leave all the crap on. This show is like going back to Old Time TV, keep it on and make lots of fans happy. I am so tired of all these stupid half hour comedies that make no sense and all the reality shows, pretty soon there will be nothing good left to watch.
    A true Chuck fan.
