A few highlights from tonight’s TV lineup…what will YOU be watching?!

The New Adventures of Old Christine | 8pm on CBS
“He Aint’ Heavy”
While helping Matthew lose weight, Christine finds herself unable to shed extra pounds she has put on, despite her know-how as a gym owner.

Lie to Me | 8pm on Fox
“Blinded”

Lightman teams up with an FBI agent (Mekhi Phifer) to hunt for a serial rapist who is terrorizing Washington, D.C.

American Idol | 8pm on Fox
After tonight it’s down to the final three.  Who will go home? One contestant is eliminated; No Doubt performs; Daughtry performs. [GMMR:Daughtry! Woo to the Hoo. Perfect guy for rock night. Show ’em how it’s done, Chris.]

Scrubs | 8pm on ABC
My Finale
J.D. wonders if his final day at Sacred Heart will live up to his fantasy; Elliot seems to want to take her relationship with J.D. to the next level. [GMMR: Season finale? Series finale? Last episode without Zach Braff? So much confusion around these “bubble” shows. Are fans going to really be able to say a proper goodbye if this is series finale? Ugh.]

Lost | 9pm on ABC
“Follow the Leader”
Kate and Jack are at odds; Locke solidifies his position as leader of the Others; Juliet and Sawyer are scrutinized.[GMMR: One of the highlights of the week. That is all.]

The Unusuals | 10pm on ABC
“The Circle Line

Officer Powell wakes up in an alley covered in blood and with his off-duty weapon missing; Delahoy and Banks discover they have become victims of identity theft.

Also Playing…

  • America’s Next Top Model | 8pm on The CW: The final four contestants are dressed as exotic birds for a photo shoot with Tyra; a model breaks down during the panel.
  • Gary Unmarried| 8:30pm on CBS: Gary loses control of his house and his kids when his rambunctious half brother decides to move in.
  • Criminal Minds | 9pm on CBS: The team suspects that a series of vehicular homicides may be the work of a serial killer.
  • CSI: NY | 10pm on CBS: Mac tries to convince an ex-con (Charles S. Dutton) to tell the truth so the real culprit can pay for his crime.

May I ask…what will YOU be watching?

The Scrubs finale was always intended to be the SERIES finale, so it will be a proper goodbye. And I still am not sure what I think about continuing the show with the interns (I do love Denise, but it’s a weird idea).

I knew about the rumour (though thought it was kind of confirmed) that Zach Braff wouldn’t be returning to Scrubs next year, so I wasn’t sure it would continue after this season. I also figured the reason ABC picked up Scrubs was so it could “say a proper goodbye”. I had no idea it was possibly continuing into another season.

Regardless, I really haven’t liked much of this season, or found it funny, so this will be the series finale for me.

The Unusuals is unfolding nicely, more layers to the characters each week, and the ensemble is clicking, keyed by Adam Goldberg. And Framingham’s own Monique Curnen is driving key plot line. Make the time GMMR!

I’ll definitely try, Tom. I just need them to add a few more hours in the day. Maybe I can catch up during the summer TV doldrums (not that those exist as much anymore).
