  10. Jessica on May 19th, 2009 10:08 pm

Love, love, love Glee! I’ve seen the premiere a few times now and I adore it more each time I see it. I’m bummed that we have to wait til fall to see more, but I’m sure I’ll get plenty of people to jump onto fox.com to view the pilot over the next few months. Plenty of time to bring in mass amounts of Glee lovers!

It was awesome! I’m just annoyed that I now have to wait forever to see another episode 🙁

  12. beeboop on May 19th, 2009 10:13 pm

I love it!! New obsession! I convinced my family to watch it (normally not their type of thing) and they loved it–they called and yelled at me for making them like it and now having to wait until the fall 🙂

  13. Emily on May 19th, 2009 10:15 pm

Amazing! Can’t wait to watch the episode again!

  14. SVB on May 19th, 2009 10:17 pm

LOVED IT. And the fact that they had THREE JOURNEY MOMENTS made it that much better (I’m a HUGE Journey fan)!

Will definitely be tuning in this fall.

  15. Jaime on May 19th, 2009 10:20 pm

I’ve found my new obsession. I absolutely LOVED it, and I downloaded the two songs on iTunes about five minutes after the show ended.

  16. tessa on May 19th, 2009 10:22 pm

Perfect. Every expectation realized, but still has me wanting more! The previews for next Fall made me so excited!

  17. Jenn-Jenn on May 19th, 2009 10:24 pm

No GLEE for me. 🙁 My DVR was set to record but didn’t. Boooo – I was quite looking foward to watching this show!

  18. James on May 19th, 2009 10:37 pm

Loved this show so much I can’t believe it.
But by the way, not to rain on our parade, but it’s vocal CORDS, not chords. They are cords in your throat and have nothing to do with musical CHORDS.

  19. Give Me My Remote on May 19th, 2009 10:41 pm

I was going for a little play on words (cords vs. musical chords)…I guess I failed. Ha!

  20. Mandy on May 19th, 2009 10:52 pm

Loved it! I hate we have to wait so long for a new episode. I guess I’ll be watching the pilot over and over again. The songs are already on my MP3 player.

  21. Lizzydee on May 19th, 2009 11:25 pm

WOW. I loved it!!!! I can not get that song out of my head! it was just so so good! I cant believe we have to wait until the fall for a new episode!!! Im going to watch over and over again all summer!

  22. eelizbic on May 19th, 2009 11:33 pm

Even better than I expected! I am still not sure how a musical weekly show will play out in the long run, but I’ll definitely be tuning in this fall!

  23. Patty on May 19th, 2009 11:57 pm

Already downloaded the Journey song. How could I not? This will be the fun show come fall that everyone is talking about the next day.

I frigging loved Glee. I’m going to watch it Over and Over and Over.

  26. Randi on May 20th, 2009 1:08 am

I am literally in tears I am so excited for this show. I haven’t felt like this about a show in a looooong time. And for a girl that loves shows like the great loves in her life, that’s major. I’m absolutely 100% looking forward to it coming back in the fall. Yay Fox, you picked a winner!!!

  27. Philiana Ng on May 20th, 2009 1:23 am

Loved it, but that’s the inner musical nerd in me speaking. I’ve been a big fan of Lea Michele (from “Spring Awakening”) and was semi-familiar with Cory Monteith (from MTV’s short-lived faux reality show “Kaya”; not all that great by the way), so obviously it was a show I had to tune into. I saw another version of the pilot and thought the final air version was cleaner, but still had some holes to fill. It is tough to have substantial background on every character (especially the supporting) in 40+ minutes, but it did a good enough job to whet your appetite.

  28. Sam on May 20th, 2009 1:39 am

    YES

  29. Tessa on May 20th, 2009 2:38 am

Holy moly, so good!! I knew I would like it, and I definitely wasn’t wrong. Is it fall yet?

  30. Jocelyn on May 20th, 2009 3:32 am

I haven’t seen the pilot yet, dammit – but I WILL, I’m already crushing hard on the show from just the extended pilot. It’s bumming me out that we have to wait so long to get the whole series, but what a great advertising strategy, especially following American Idol – what a huge audience to get hooked!

    Love love love ^_^

  31. Sarahhh :) on May 20th, 2009 5:48 am

    i loved itttt!
dont stop believing has been stuck
in my head and i love how they
    sing that song!

  32. Lisa (aka lmr) on May 20th, 2009 7:02 am

Add me to the chorus of fans, ha ha. I absolutely loved it. The lead won my heart in the first five minutes (sorry don’t know the actor’s name). It was funny and pulled at the heart strings. This is going to make up a little for Chuck being delayed until Feb.

  33. Lisa (aka lmr) on May 20th, 2009 7:09 am

Sorry for the double post but OMG just read Philiana’s post. I saw Spring Awakening last year, knew I’d seen Lea before. I was in the ‘spit zone’ front row for that show so I should have recognized her. So that’s really her singing, wow.

  34. Michele on May 20th, 2009 7:46 am

    yay!

  36. strunkette on May 20th, 2009 9:50 am

I thought it was fantastic! I knew it would after seeing all your tweets about it 🙂 I’m watching on Hulu right now!

  37. Corey on May 20th, 2009 10:18 am

Popular was good, Nip/Tuck is great, but Glee is fantastic! Ryan Murphy has really hit his stride with this one. I’m not a musical person, but gave it a chance and watched. Boy, am I glad I did. Every moment was like a little moment of joy. I truly hope Glee is a hit, and doesn’t go the route of the sorely-missed Pushing Daisies.

  38. Cathy on May 20th, 2009 10:39 am

Definitely lived up to my expectations. I do agree on the need for development of the background characters (Tina’s stutter came out of nowhere at the other school’s show, after she had already auditioned without it).

Downloaded the songs on ITunes this morning and “Don’t Stop Believin'” is the #2 download right now!

  39. mg714 on May 20th, 2009 11:59 am

Loved it! It reminded me a little of Popular (obviously) and also of the movie “Election.” Can’t wait to see it back in the fall! And I love that Jane Lynch is on the show – glad to see her on TV!

  40. Casey on May 20th, 2009 5:59 pm

I can see myself watching this a few times a week, every week until it premieres in the fall! I LOVED it! It made my inner musical theater nerd extremely happy, and several of my high school friends and I talked today over how much we could not wait for new episodes. AAHHHH I <3 this show! If Fox screws this up, I may have to sharpen my pitchfork….

  41. Lynzee on May 20th, 2009 6:41 pm

Oh that show is going to be pain to get onto DVD with all those music royalties and licenses!

Very cute though, look forward to seeing more!

  42. Marci on September 10th, 2009 1:29 am

This show is amazing! I go to a performing arts school that has a huge choir program and this show is the obsession of everyone. The songs are amazing. We can really relate, theres people at our school that are just like the characters on the show. Its nice to see a show on network tv for artists, not for athletes. 5 thumbs up!
