The IDOL Are Gleeks – Don’t Stop Believin’

June 26, 2009 by

During a practice session for their upcoming tour, the AMERICAN IDOLS proved themselves to be GLEEks. Check out their performance of “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.

Adam handles the song with such ease. Scott, yikes.

That is like a little micro-recap of the entire season. I love Kris and Allison doing their things, even though the style of song isn’t in their respective wheelhouses – they really “make it their own.”

    And, Adam: gah! Words fail.

Actually I think Scott and especially Matt nailed it (plus pretty good dueling piano work)…Matt was definitely channeling the Perry vibe.

Thanks for all the good clips this a.m., Kath, huge t-storm blew through here and got me up at an ungodly hour 🙂

Scott sounded really bad and Matt was off-key a lot but the piano work was incredible.

Awesome clip! Does anyone else think it’s awesome how Adam can hit the high notes that not even the girls will go for?

i hate to say this, but the smart thing would have been to just let adam sing this alone. (i would still LOVE to hear him cover it.) the song is perfect for his gorgeous voice, oh well.
