Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Monday, November 16, 2009

November 16, 2009 by

It’s already Monday? How did that happen?  Maybe it’s because I missed all my Sunday night shows that it doesn’t feel like Monday. (Pain meds knocked me out early last night!) Hopefully I’ll get to THE AMAZING RACE and BROTHERS & SISTERS today.

And it must be said…Happy NEW MOON premiere week! Am I the only one excited?  Be sure to keep an eye out on the daytime and late night talk shows as the Twilighters will be making the rounds.  Taylor Lautner is on with Leno tonight and Kristen Stewart is on with Conan. I’m so bummed that both Kristen and Taylor will be on with Jimmy Fallon later this week but Robert Pattinson can’t be “bothered”! Come on!

I’ve waited so long for the movie to finally hit the theaters, but now with my back issues I can’t go. How cruel?! Talk about incentive to get better.

But let’s check out what’s on tonight. Here are a few of the highlights.

One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl lead the night, Heroes, CSI: Miami and How I Met Your Mother are for DVR.

  2. Nicole on November 16th, 2009 3:23 pm

I started watching Vampire Diaries yesterday (first 3), and now all I want to watch is more VD. I think I may watch BBT and HIMYM and a couple of more VD eps. Everything else can wait until later in the week, or the weekend.

  3. Cori on November 16th, 2009 3:54 pm

I believe all the OTH episode titles are actual song titles, weird song titles, but actual song titles.

  4. Jen (HIMYM) on November 16th, 2009 7:40 pm

Cori’s right, OTH always has song titles as the title of the episode. And it’s a pretty good song.

My plan: HIMYM, House, Gossip Girl, BBT then Castle. OTH I’ll watch online later in the week.

  5. Jen (HIMYM) on November 16th, 2009 7:44 pm

Oh, and I think the song/episode title in full is “You Are a Runner and I Am My Father’s Son”

  6. Kate on November 17th, 2009 6:11 pm

I actually look forward to Mondays because of Castle. Love the show!
