Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Monday, December 14, 2009

December 14, 2009 by

Happy Monday. Well, for most of you I’m sure it is. Unfortunately for me, it’s not a great Monday. I’m on Day 3 of being quite sick. So I’m just going to get to tonight’s shows. Enjoy a mix of original episodes of our Monday favorites as well as some holiday specials.  Being a Gleeker at heart, I’m looking forward to NBC’s SING OFF which premieres tonight.

And if your Thursdays have been too busy to watch THE VAMPIRE DIARIES well then you’re in luck because The CW is throwing a TVD marathon party this week, starting tonight with the pilot and second episode. TVD is must watch TV!

“The Maternal Congruence”
Leonard’s mother (Christine Baranski) visits, which pleases Sheldon but upsets Leonard. [GMMR: If you haven’t seen any of the spoiler photos for this episode then let’s just say that you’ll see Sheldon do something we’ve never see him to before.]

CSI: Miami | 10pm on CBS
“Delko for the Defense”
Former CSI Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) returns, but not to help his onetime colleagues. Instead, he appears in court as an expert witness for the defense, a role that pits him against his former lab partners.

You know what occured to me over the weekend was the opportunity that FOX missed by not putting together a Glee Christmas special. They could have skipped the story outside of the performance – maybe just make it the school Christmas performance or something – maybe even only half an hour or something. I’d tune in to watch Rachel sing Silent Night. Would have been ratings gold …

Hope you feel better soon! I may just tune in to TVD. I haven’t watched any of them, so I might use this opportunity to start from the beginning.

Hoping Sing Off doesn’t suck. Definitely on my watch list this week.
