Tonight’s TV Spotlight…January 4, 2009

January 4, 2010 by

Welcome to 2010! I hope the year has treated you well so far. Our shows are surely but slowly coming back. There’s a slew of new shows and returning favorites just around the corner. Yesterday Ducky and I recorded our first podcast of the new year (well we actually recorded two since we are overachievers in 2010), but be sure to check them out soon as we highlight some of the shows that will be hitting your TV soon.

As for New Year’s resolutions, I’m not sure I’m going to make any concrete resolutions this year (other than to finally meet Neil Patrick Harris, of course). This year I’m just going to believe more in the power of positive thinking (translation: I WILL meet Neil Patrick Harris in 2010.) Did you make any resolutions that you want to share?

First I have to get through the day. Today is my first day back in the office after being out for about three months. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. Being up and about and back on my feet for a full day? Should be interesting. Plus there’s the whole fact that I’m completely out of the loop. Yikes! Wish me well, I’m a working girl again.

I’ll get through the day, and then I’ll come home and my TV will be waiting. But what to watch? Tonight marks the return of shows like HEROES, MAKE IT OR BREAK IT and THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER. But if forced courtship is more your thing, you might want to check out the season premiere of THE BACHELOR: On The Wings of Love (I kid you not, that’s the title) or the 1-hour special presentation of (I can even write this with a straight face) CONVEYOR BELT OF LOVE.

That and much more tonight. What will YOU be watching? Share your lineup with other GMMR readers and give them YOUR suggestions as to what to watch tonight.

P.S. Just a reminder that starting today TNT will begin airing SUPERNATURAL from the very beginning. It will be on weekdays at 10am. If you’ve never seen SUPERNATURAL then now is your chance to catch up. Set that DVR, you will NOT be disappointed.

Thanks for the heads up about Supernatural! I’ve never seen it, but it’s on my list of things-to-catch-up-with-on-netflix. Much easier to set the season pass!
