Someone star the slow clap…tonight marks the return of Lorelai Gilmore to television! AMEN! Lauren Graham debuts in the all new PARENTHOOD, which is a sweet and funny and well worth checking out tonight. It’s just nice to have Graham back on TV where she belongs.

Besides the premiere of PARENTHOOD we’ve also got AMERICAN IDOL, THE GOOD WIFE, LOST, WHITE COLLAR and the TNT premiere of the fantastic SOUTHLAND. Yikes!

“Top 10 Girls – Performance Night”
The semifinal round kicks off with the Top 10 female singers delivering performances. Viewer voting begins. [GMMR: Here’s to hoping the girls have overcome their nerves and they don’t suck as much this week.]

The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Up on the Roof”
The temptation winner divides the contestants into two teams and grants immunity to one player; the contestants participate in a challenge on the roof of a very tall building.

NCIS | 8pm on CBS
“Mother’s Day”
Gibbs is drawn into his past when his former mother-in-law, played by Gena Rowlands, witnesses the murder of a Navy captain.

NCIS: Los Angeles | 9pm on CBS
“Chinatown”
The team suspects that the death of a naval officer ruled as a suicide could be a murder, and that the crime implies a threat to national security.

Lost | 9pm on ABC
“Sundown”
Sayid must make a difficult decision, while Claire has a warning for the temple inhabitants. Nadia: Andrea Gabriel. Keamy: Kevin Durand. Omar: Anthony Azizi. [GMMR: We’re going to try our best to record a new ‘Two Idiots Talk LOST’ this week. Fingers crossed that we can make it happen.]

Parenthood | 10pm on NBC | Series Premiere
“Pilot”

Sarah Braverman (Lauren Graham) uproots her kids to move back in with her parents (Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia) in the opener of this comedy-drama about the challenges of raising kids. Sarah’s three siblings are also facing their own set of problems, including career, medical and relationship woes.

The Good Wife | 10pm on CBS
“Bang”
Peter works on a comeback strategy with his political team while adjusting to life at home; Diane and Alicia try to get a woman to testify against her husband.

White Collar | 10pm on USA
“Front Man”

The daughter of Neal’s friend is a kidnap victim; an old enemy leads Neal into a trap. [GMMR: My DVR is packed with eps of WHITE COLLAR that I haven’t seen yet. Oh no!]

Southland | 10pm on TNT | Season Premiere
“Phase Three”
The possible abduction of an elderly man by a known drug addict; a freeway shooting; Chickie’s new partner shoots a 13-year-old boy. [GMMR: After being canceled by NBC, the fantastic cop drama SOUTHLAND returns to a new network, TNT, with all new episodes! Definitely worth checking out. A great show!]

    Recording Biggest Loser, Parenthood and Good Wife since I’m taking the midgets to see Valentine’s Day. I apologize in advance. ;P

    Parenthood is being repeated on Saturday, so I will see that then. Southland is also repeated so I will record the repeat presentation.

    I will record The Good Wife “live” and watch “White Collar”.
