BONES Welcomes Back NIKITA’s Tiffany Hines

September 28, 2010 by

On last week’s BONES season premiere, Cam’s job was in jeopardy, but now she has something to look forward to: her adopted daughter, Michelle, will be back on-screen later this season.

Tiffany Hines, who plays Michelle — and who is currently starring on The CW’s NIKITA — has tweeted about her return to BONES, and Fox has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that she is filming scenes for the seventh episode of the season this week.

Hines last appeared on the series in April’s “The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle,” when Cam went on a quest to find Michelle an OB-GYN. So what brings her back to the show this time?

Sources tell me exclusively that thanks to the seven-month time jump, Michelle is focused on choosing a college. Needless to say, Cam will be experiencing some difficulties, trying to figure out how involved she should be in her daughter’s life.

The return of Michelle isn’t entirely unexpected, since executive producer Stephen Nathan first told GMMR in August that despite Hines’ commitment to another show, they still planned on having her reappear on BONES. He also mentioned that they’d like to have Elon Gold return as Paul, but as of now, he’s still MIA.

So what do you think, BONES fans? Are you excited to have Michelle back?
