WAREHOUSE 13 Holiday Episode Teaser - Give Me My Remote : Give Me My Remote

WAREHOUSE 13 Holiday Episode Teaser

December 6, 2010 by

Hey Warehouse 13 pals! If you’re like me, you’ve been a little bummed that it’s been so long since we’ve had a new episode of the show. But I’m happy to report that we won’t have to wait until next summer to see Pete, Myka, Artie and Claudia try to track down an artifact. No, Syfy hasn’t pushed up the season three premiere; instead, they are airing what they are calling the ‘long lost holiday episode’.

GIVE ME MY REMOTE caught up with Saul Rubinek (Artie) and Eddie McClintock (Pete) recently and they were kind enough to give out some yuletide scoop.

Asked where this holiday episode fit in to the rest of the series, both actors were quick to point out that this is a stand alone episode, meaning that the events of the season two finale, including Myka’s departure from the warehouse, are not referenced in this holiday special.

In the episode, the team is preparing to celebrate the holidays in snowy South Dakota when they are called upon to ‘snag, bag and tag’ a ‘Bad Santa’, who according to McClintock, “You don’t want to mess with.” So is this episode’s artifact some sort of evil plate of cookies or something? Neither actor would say what the artifact is, but Rubinek did comment, “There are quite a few artifacts…one very special artifact and then several others of which mistletoe may be one.”

So what do Pete and Artie want for gifts? “Pete wants his CDs,” Eddie suggested. “They were lost in the mail. And Leena only has Justin Beiber and plays it all day.”

Saul laughed and said he is happy to report that Artie does get what he wants, a renewed relationship with his father, played by Judd Hirsch. “As magical as Warehouse 13 stories are, this one has extra spice,” he said. “The humor, combined with the adventure and fantasy seems to work, and people are watching the show with their families…something we’re really proud of.”

The episode airs Tuesday, December 7th at 10 PM on Syfy You don’t want to miss it!
