CASTLE: Beckett Meets Her Match

January 3, 2011 by

CASTLE is back tonight!

Laura Prepon guest stars as Natalie Rhodes, the actress playing Nikki Heat — the character based on Beckett — in the upcoming movie adaptation of Castle’s book “Heat Wave.” And much like Castle, Natalie feels like the best way to get the feel of the character is to shadow Beckett.

Beckett and Natalie get along great at first…until Natalie gets a bit, uh, too into character. Beckett’s struggle with that is hilarious and provides some of the best comedic moments we’ve seen from the show.

As for Castle, at first he’s horrified to see what his book has become. But Natalie’s charm is hard to resist and there is indeed some heavy flirting between the duo. As for how far that flirtation goes? You’ll have to tune in and see.

This looks hideously similar to the whole Hannah-Brennan mess on ‘Bones’. Let’s hope ‘Castle’ writer/producers are smarter and play it for laughs.

I dont think it sounds at all like Hannah-Brennan. And Castle is so much better than Bones.

It’s not Hannah-Brennan because Natalie isn’t Castle’s girlfriend.. she’s the actress that was cast to play Nikki Heat in the movie adaption of the book..

Can’t wait for this episode tonight!! Looks hilarious!

@EL: The Natalie-Beckett dynamic didn’t feel anything like the Hannah-Brennan one.

great. I don’t recognise who you’re however definitely you’re going to a well-known blogger in
