Good Lord. Even with GREY’S and PRIVATE PRACTICE on hiatus, the amount of fresh TV on tonight is already giving my DVR a headache.

PARKS AND RECREATION (!!) is finally back and NBC is debuting their THREE-HOUR comedy block with the new show PERFECT COUPLES somewhere in there.

BONES is at 9. USA has the return of ROYAL PAINS and is premiering FAIRLY LEGAL.

Plus, IDOL is of course on again and so. much. freakin. more.

The auditions continue on the second part of two-night season premiere of AMERICAN IDOL as the judges continue their quest to find the next singing superstar.

“Asian Population Studies”
Annie (Alison Brie) returns fromspring breakto find that her crush “Rich” (Greg Cromer “Justified”), the Dr., has enrolled at Greendale CommunityCollege, sparking a heated debate about whether to add Rich and/or Senor Chang to the study group. Shirley’s (Yvette Nicole Brown) ex-husband Andre (Malcolm Jamal Warner, “True Blue”) is back in the picture and Shirley has some big news for everyone.

Tension runs high when everyone is staying at the same hotel for a science event and Bernadette runs into her ex-boyfriend. Rick Fox, three-time NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, guest stars as Bernadette’s ex, Glenn.

“The Body in the Bag”
An unidentifiable body is discovered in theshowerof an upscale home belonging to a young female socialite. With the help of nosey bones expert and Jeffersonian “squint” Clark Edison (guest star Eugene Byrd), skeletal reconstruction and evidence in thedrainreveal that the victim was a young girl employed by a counterfeit handbag distributor. The team learns that the victim supplied counterfeit purses to her socialite acquaintance, and after interrogating the self-centered socialite and sifting through footage on a hidden camera, they discover evidence linking them to the murderer. “A Kiss Before Frying”
The CSIs link a body with severe burn marks to possible execution by electric chair – and to a legendary Vegas murder. Meanwhile, Greg asks out Ellen, a pretty schoolteacher and forensics enthusiast who has been touring the crime lab.

Royal Pains | 9pm on USA | 2nd Season Winter Premiere
“Mulligan”
Eddie’s heart attack causes both Hank and Evan to reassess their father’s situation, while Divya must do some re- evaluating of her own in regard to Raj and Adam. Meanwhile, Jill plays in a pro-am tournament with the patient of the week, a professional golfer played by guest star Tom Cavanagh (ED, LOVE MONKEY).

Parks and Recreation | 9:30pm on NBC | 3rd Season Premiere
“Go Big or Go Home”
Leslie (Amy Poehler) tries to convince Chris (Rob Lowe) and Ben (Adam Scott) to give the parks department more money, and when she fails to persuade them, she enlists Ann’s (Rashida Jones) help. Meanwhile, Ron (Nick Offerman) and Andy (Chris Pratt) coach youth basketball, and April (Aubrey Plaza) returns with surprising news.

“Mrs. Donaghy”
Company budget cuts affect the TGS staff, and Liz (Tina Fey) tries to use Jack’s (Alec Baldwin) wedding mistake in her favor. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Danny (Cheyenne Jackson) share his dressing room and Tracy (Tracy Morgan) receives disturbing medical news that makes Angie (Sherri Shepherd) consider a different career path.

“Bloodhounds”
When Patrick Jane and the CBI must work with acriminalprofiler, Dr. Montague, to solve a double murder, it becomes a competition for Jane to prove that his methods are superior.

When Todd (Ben Rappaport) hears a beautiful singing voice, he is shocked to discover who it belongs too. Eager to help make someone’s dream come true, Todd offers pay for anyone interested in signing up for an upcoming talentcontest. Despite Todd’s good intentions, it seems Gupta (Parvesh Cheena) is the one with stars in his eyes. Meanwhile, Todd encounters problems with the call center’s phone forcing him to consider taking Rajiv’s (Rizwan Manji) unscrupulous advice.
