Report: ABC Cancels V and BROTHERS & SISTERS

Multiple outlets are reporting that ABC has canceled V and BROTHERS & SISTERS.
While the season finale of BROTHERS & SISTERS had some closure and a potential series finale feel to it — the hour included a wedding, romantic reunions and a pregnancy — the V season finale definitely didn’t.
Are you disappointed to lose the Walkers? Or are you more bummed about V not getting a third season?

Nooooooo! Brothers and Sisters is the first cancellation I am really bummed about.
Yeah I guess the finale did have some closure, and both Tommy and Kitty were there so at least the whole family was together. But Kitty’s pregnancy! I wanted to see where that was going.
Please consider haveing some kind of closure to Brothers and Sister, because season V seemes to have unfinished business. I care a lot about Brothers and Sisters and would hate for the ending to come so soon. I really look forward to watching this show and all the charters were right on time with their parts, a job well done.
Of course I am sad to waive bye-bye to the Walkers (though not as sad as my mom will be!) but I think that the writing was on the wall and TPTB knew it as seen by their season, I mean, series finale!
Now, someone get Dave Annable back on my television right quick, ok?!
This is SO sad. Brothers & Sisters does NOT deserved to be cancelled!! This is my FAV sho ever!!!!! :(:(:( please abc this is horrible.
I knew it was too good to be true that the Walkers woul finally be happy! I knew the way Nora was looking at her family on the dance floor had the “End of the Road” feel. I will truly miss the Walkers!!!!
Add me to the list of people who really enjoyed the Walker’s and their trials and tribulations. Somehow, it doesn’t feel finished to me and I would like to see another season of it with Tommy settled, Justin enjoying something and finding out what happens to Kitty. No Fair, ABC canclling in mid-story!
Whyis it thay they always cancel the best shows on TV and then renew Jersey Shore for another season and offer those classless kids spinoff series? Not everyone is 25 years old and want to watch 25 year olds behaving badly. I used to think those peopel that told me the don’t have a TV in their house were crazy, now I wonder why I still have mine? I am so bummed about Brothers & Sisters, what a horrible mistake ABC is making, now I have one less reason to watch ABC, they are just becomming the worst!
Ohhhhhhh, my favorite show and I have very few favorite shows. It very much reminded me of my family growing up that has discentigrated because of death and fighing over a piece of property. Cancer is a terrible disease.
I don’t like the energy of V…..I think it is the right kind of energy to put out into the world about trust and safety.
I feel really frustrated that good programming like Brothers and Sisters get canceled while so much drivel stays. I will miss them, guess I will get more quilting done now.
Why doesn’t Lifetime TV pick up Brothers& Sisters. They seem to have some good shows, i e Army Wives, Coming Home, and good movies. They need more good shows to fill in the blanks, instead of repeat, repeat of minor old shows…

The Walkers were going some where. The season finale left too many loose ends to be a series finale. Why cancel one of the best shows on ABC? Too expensive? Two thumbs down! Lots of deadwood to ax and instead cut down a beautiful oak.
Im going to miss Brothers and Sisters. It reminded me of my family. Real problems in families. Why do you take off good shows to put trash on like sex and drugs and vampires? I dont get it!
Oh, I really don’t like this decision. I love this show, and while it was more visually entertaining with the so handsome Rob Lowe, I feel invested in the Walker family and have enjoyed their family ups and downs over the past few seasons. Hopefully it will end up on another network. Agree with posts above, they throw money at those idiots on Jersey Shore and cancel a show that is worthy of watching.
One of the few shows that are not a Reality show, which I am sick to death of. I really liked Brothers and Sisters, one of the best shows on TV. TV Exec have their head up their — when they deceided to cancel this one.

I’m so sad about the cancelation of Brothers and Sisters. It was my favorite show.
Five years ago I was so pleased to finally have a show to watch..to witness, with actually well written, thought out storylines.It was one of my favorite, relationship driven programs. Brothers & Sisters was well written, artfully acted by a steller ensemble cast and to top it off courageous storylines. Now the only drama all I have to look forward to watching is Parenthood! Thank you to everyone for 5 seasons of well spent Sunday nights!
I am so sad to hear about Brothers & Sisters being cancelled. That is one of the great TV shows to watch. Me and my sisters love to watch it and then call each other to go over what happened. This is a show that has touched us because they are real situations that have happened to us in our lives.
So bummed over reading this. Brother’s & Sister’s has touched my life in so many ways and gave me something to look forward to during a rough time. I found myself laughing and crying over the similarities to my own siblings. Hoping it resurfaces somewhere else on tv.
I really, really like Brothers & Sisters! So much of TV is crap these days. I wonder when the execs are going to think about the “intelligent” sector. So much that is on now seems to be for idiots. Brothers & Sisters felt more like “reality” than the reality shows which are hyped up crap! BRING IT BACK!

THIS PUTS ME IN THE MIND OF DIRTY SEXY MONEY WHEN IT WAS CANCELED THAT WAS A SAD DAY AS WELL BECAUSE IT WAS A GREAT PROGRAM AS WELL.

Your taking off Brothers and Sisters. What a waste. ABC will not stop cancelling my favorite shows. This show rocks, cancel some of the other garbage like some of the dancing and bachelor shows. What a waste . Boo for disney.
Honestly, never heard of Brothers & Sisters. But “V” is awesome!!! I love that show and it has only been getting better. Now they go and cancel it! The only two shows I watched on ABC were V and No Ordinary Family, I’m very disappointed. Still disappointed they canceled Flash Forward…
I’m so sad Brothers and Sisters was cancelled! It has been my favorite show for a long time and I never missed an episode. I would love to see if another network would pick it up. The writing was so good and the characters were some of the best developed on television. Each of them had so much to give to an amazing story line. Brothers and Sisters will be sorely missed!
