New Trailer For Showtime’s WEB THERAPY

June 3, 2011 by

Showtime is doing their part at keeping FRIENDS alumni employed with the upcoming Lisa Kudrow-led series, WEB THERAPY.

What is WEB THERAPY? According to Showtime’s press release, “WEB THERAPY stars Emmy® Award-winning actress Lisa Kudrow as “Dr. Fiona Wallice,” a self-professed psychotherapist who treats patients via webcam in weekly, three-minute sessions – a modality she believes more effective than the traditional 50-minute talk-a-thons heralded by other mental health professionals.  However, she spends more time feigning boredom, interrupting and giving meaningless personal data than hearing her patient’s issues.  Her “patients” including Jane Lynch (“Glee”), Courteney Cox (“Cougar Town”), Rashida Jones (“Parks and Recreation”), and, veteran star Bob Balaban (“For Your Consideration”), among others, are given a script framework, but ad-lib their performances with riotous results.  The series will also delve into the doctor’s personal life and will feature Lily Tomlin as her mother and Victor Garber (“Alias”) as her husband.”

Check out a tease for the series…

Web Therapy is an improvised online television series starring Emmy award winning actress Lisa Kudrow as Fiona Wallice, a therapist who has conceived of a new form of therapy: the titular “web therapy. I like her show very much. Thanks for sharing this with all about web therapy. They are taped in the hope of attracting investors into promoting her new technique as a worldwide therapy option.

The very heart of your writing whilst appearing reasonable originally, did not work properly with me personally after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately just for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your jumps in logic and you would do well to fill in all those gaps. When you can accomplish that, I could certainly end up being fascinated.
