Awards season can be a bittersweet time for television fans. Even if your favorites get nominated, there’s always one or two deserving people or shows that get shut out. Or, if you’re a fan of genre or procedural shows, odds are your favorites are ignored completely.
Team GMMR doesn’t have the power to award Emmys (how awesome would THAT be?!), but we do have the ability to let our readers award their favorites.
And that’s where you come in. We have 20+ categories where you can nominate your television favorites from this past season, ranging from “favorite actor” to “character most in need of a storyline.”

Best Season Cliffhanger: Castle!!! (though I have to give a shout-out to Chuck on this one too…”Morgan as the Intersect” isn’t as good as “Ellie as the Intersect” would have been but it still made me go “WTF?!” in the best possible way!)
Worst Season Cliffhanger: The Office (Just tell us who the freakin’ boss is already!)
Favourite Line: (A three-way tie!) Beckett: “Alacazam Jackass!” (Castle); Manny: “I made a reference to The Wiggles and it went right over her head.” Jay: “I don’t know what that means.” Manny: “It’s an expression. It means she didn’t get it.” (Modern Family); and Castle and Beckett at different times throughout the season: “Always.” (Castle)

Favourite “Out of the Box” Episode: “For a Few Paintballs More” (Community) (…for the Annie/Abed kiss alone!)
Biggest Tearjerker: (I cried a lot this tv season!) Lily telling Marshall his dad had died (HIMYM); Pam & Michael’s out-of-sound good-bye hug (The Office); Montgomery’s death (Castle) and revisiting Lou’s death (Flashpoint) (CBS just aired the episode, Sergio di Zio is brilliant in that scene and I am giving another shout-out for Canada!)

Captain issues, how bad is Beckett, did Beckett hear Castle, who was Montgomery protecting, who shot Beckett, what about Caskett’s fight, how are the guys’ really? THE ENTIRE FINALE was a cliff-hanger. It answered questions, yet made new ones. It’s one of the best written season finales EVER.
Worst season finale cliffhanger: Bones…like, seriously. She’s having Booth’s kid, Booth is happy. Whatever.
Favorite line: Beckett to Castle in Dead Pool: “…I’m a one-writer girl.” That entire scene was quietly AWESOME.
