Report: THE OFFICE Spinoff in the Works

If NBC gets their way, THE OFFICE may look drastically different comes 2013.

Deadline is reporting the network is currently in the early stages of developing a spinoff for Rainn Wilson’s Dwight Schrute, with the hopes of it launching — if all goes well — during midseason 2013.

According to Deadline, the spinoff would be set at the Schrute Farms (which, of course, has been seen in the past as the potential site of Andy and Angela’s wedding and where Jim and Pam spent a night away when they were dating) and the potential series will be introduced in an upcoming episode of THE OFFICE.

Of course, this is all in the very early stages, so it’s possible this will never come to be. But if Dwight is headlining his own show in 2013, do you think you might want to tune in?
