Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Wednesday, April 4, 2012

Are any of you watching BENT? I know it will get canceled thanks to NBC’s brilliant marketing, but I’m really enjoying it.

If you’re looking for something more dramatic, tonight is the series finale of ONE TREE HILL. The 7th-grader in me is pretty devastated.

The finalists perform live once again in hopes of exciting the judges and the nation. After the performances, it is up to America to vote for their favorite singers to keep them in the competition. Tune in to see who amazes the judges and who falls flat.

One Tree Hill | 8pm on The CW | Two-Hour Series Finale

In the final chapter of One Tree Hill, the tenth anniversary of Tric brings old faces and new possibilities for the Tree Hill family.

Best Friends Forever | 8:30pm on NBC | Series Premiere
“Pilot”
When Jessica is overnighted divorce papers, her best friend Lennon convinces her to return home to Brooklyn and back into the apartment they used to share. The girls easily fall back into old habits – none of which is good news for Lennon’s live-in boyfriend, Joe. Meanwhile Jessica adjusts to her new single life by reconnecting with old friends like Rav; however her new efforts meet the critique of the friends’ precocious nine-year-old neighbor, Queenetta. [GMMR: Hey all, it’s Kath jumping in to say that I have watched the series premiere of this show twice and I thought it was really funny!  The leading ladies are hilarious. I know it’s NBC and that alone should make you skeptical, but definitely check it out.]

Meanwhile, Alex’s new neighbor Dan (guest star Kyle Bornheimer), fed up with the crew’s antics and destructive behavior, threatens legal action. Elsewhere, Walt prepares for opening night of his latest theatre production, and Gary professes his feelings for Screwsie.

“Four Weddings and a Funeral (Minus Three Weddings and One Funeral)”
The gang find themselves at yet another wedding, this time the nuptials of Derrick and Eric. Will there be “DRAMA,” to quote Derrick? Of course, as Brad struggles to tell Jane something important; Jane tries to find a way to help Eric hide the fact that the pricey reception must be downscaled; and Max tries to find the courage to perform with his old all-male Madonna cover band. Meanwhile, a dateless Penny is sad that she’s at another wedding, alone, until she meets cute guy Chris (guest star Brian Austin Green) via Sky

When the CSI team is called in to investigate a man who is shot at point-blank range in a local casino, they shut down the entire building to find their killer.

Psych | 10pm on USA
“True Grits”
A wrongly convicted chef hires Shawn and Gus to help find the real culprit responsible for the robbery for which he was imprisoned.

The Soup | 10pm on E!
A weekly recap of various pop culture and television show moments of the week. The show is hosted by Joel McHale (COMMUNITY), who provides sarcastic and biting commentary on the hottest celeb news events and goofiest reality clips.
