Once Abed and Troy think they have located the perpetrator, the group conducts a “trial,” with a reluctant Professor Kane (guest star Michael K. Williams) serving as judge. Jeff soon realizes, however, that the plot is thicker than anyone suspects.

“Do Not Go Gentle”
Alaric finds an unexpected ally to guide him on his dangerous new path, while Damon and Meredith try to figure out what their next move should be. At the school’s 1920s Decade Dance, Bonnie asks Jamie to go with her and, at Caroline’s suggestion, Elena asks Stefan to be her date. Caroline is pleasantly surprised when Tyler shows up at the dance determined to sweep her off her feet, but Klaus does his best to come between them. The dance takes a deadly turn when Damon and Stefan realize they need the help of Matt, Jeremy and especially Bonnie to undo a spell that could prove devastating for everyone. When their Kabletown bosses announce they will no longer pay for TGS to be a live show, Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy realize their lives will actually be easier if they shoot canned episodes fast and cheap. Only Kenneth the page objects, urging that nothing can replace the communal experience of live television. He tries to convince the TGS staff to fight for their right to be live by taking them and our audience through a magical look back at the illustrious history of Studio 6H.

Martin attempts to find Teller’s mysterious workshop and winds up aiding another professor, Logan, to win big at poker. Meanwhile, a young Italian man creates a viral video to track down the love of his life, whom he only met in passing, and a city slicker who plans to sell off his dead father’s ranch, winds up learning a lesson from a horse that makes him appreciate the rural life his father chose. Then, Martin’s sister-in-law, Abigail Kelsey, visits Clea and Jake at the board-and-care facility, much to Martin’s dismay.

“Moment of Truth”
After eight years of practice, the residents head to San Francisco for their oral boards; sparks fly between Catherine and Richard when they bump into each other at the hotel; Bailey intervenes after Owen and Teddy get into a heated argument about their young car crash patient; and Mark tries to recruit Lexie for one of his cases. Meanwhile, Alex feels guilty for being away from the hospital when Tommy’s health begins to fail.

The Secret Circle | 9pm on The CW
“Traitor”
When a crystal is magically stolen from the abandoned house, the Circle decides it was the traitor witch working with Eben, so Jake calls for a meeting with Isaac to see if they can get him to change sides. Cassie’s loose grasp on her dark magic threatens to destroy any possible alliance when their pursuit of the traitor leads them to the “Creepiest Place on Earth.” Meanwhile, Faye and Jake work together to steal Dawn’s crystal, Melissa and Adam pair up and uncover a new magic trick. Meanwhile, a frustrated Diana reaches out to Charles for help.

“The Debate”
Leslie goes toe-to-toe with Bobby Newport (guest star Paul Rudd) in their big televised debate. Ann, Tom and Chris work in the media spin room, while Ron goes the extra mile to save a party for Leslie’s donors.

The Mentalist | 10pm on CBS
“Ruby Slippers”
Jane and the CBI try to find the killer of a man found outside a cabaret featuring female impersonators. During the investigation, they discover a list of suspects, all of whom bullied the victim.

Awake | 10pm on NBC
“Game Day”
A big football rivalry captures the attention of the police department, but all bets are off when the final play goes both ways in Detective Britten’s two realities. In one world, a dispute between rival fans leads to a murder in the stadium parking lot, and in the other, an in-the-red gambler gets burned. Meanwhile, Rex is suffering from a broken heart. Elsewhere, Vega and Hannah are planning a going away party for Britten.

Scandal | 10pm on ABC
“Enemy of the State”
After the Amanda Tanner case takes a shocking turn, one-time friends Olivia and Cyrus take heated, opposing viewpoints, and Cyrus tries to help in investigating the personal lives of Olivia and her associates. Meanwhile Olivia and her team help a dictator locate his wife and children who have been allegedly kidnapped, and Quinn goes out with a reporter seeking information
