RAISING HOPE Casts Jenny Slate For Season 3 Arc

This can’t bode well for the Chance family — Fox has confirmed that former SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE actress Jenny Slate has booked a multi-episode arc on RAISING HOPE as a social worker. According to TVLine (who was first to report the casting news), Slate’s Joan “checks in on little Hope’s living conditions.”

Given how last season of RAISING HOPE ended — Hope’s jailbird mother who was thought to have been executed in the first episode of the series was revealed to be alive and then fought for (and won) custody of Hope…before being killed off again — perhaps the Chances get custody back of Hope won’t be as simple as it could be?
