“Friendships & Partnerships”
Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Ava’s (Maya Rudolph) friendship is tested following the news of the show’s cancellation. The Next: Fame Is At Your Doorstep | 9pm on The CW
“Los Angeles”
The four mentors work with their local contestants: Jeremy, Krystle, Tilky and Angela. Joe Jonas helps transform Jeremy into a star. Nelly makes Krystle change her song so it better showcases her vocal ability. John Rich helps Tilky forget about his boy-band past. Gloria Estefan helps Angela break out of the coffee house circuit. The four local contestants perform at the Orpheum Theatre.

Parks & Recreation | 9:31pm on NBC | Season Premiere
“Ms. Knope Goes to Washington”
Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Andy (Chris Pratt) visit Ben (Adam Scott) and April (Aubrey Plaza) at their new jobs in Washington D.C., and Leslie feels overwhelmed by the city — especially after meeting two of her idols (Senators Barbara Boxer and Olympia Snowe).
