BONES: Hart Hanson Offers a Cryptic Hodgins Tease

With a whole bunch of BONES coming your way in the next couple of weeks — the show returns with back-to-back episodes on Monday, January 14th — when I spoke with BONES creator Hart Hanson at the Fox winter press tour party, I wanted to know what he could tease about what’s to come for our Jeffersonian — and FBI — crimefighters. And, well, what he offered up is certainly something different.
“Hodgins has to have a garage sale,” Hanson teased. And while that may seem to be a very vague tease, he hinted it could have much bigger implications.
“It has bigger meaning than you know,” he said cryptically. “Why would a guy like [Hodgins] have to have a garage sale?”
That is a fair point. Hodgins is ridiculously loaded as far as we know. What kind of life event would cause the man to start selling his possessions?
And yes, there’s more from my chat with Hanson coming your way soon. But for now, why do you think Hodgins is clearing house?

He didn’t mention if it was a personal garage sale, in his home’s garage, or a “garage sale” of his equipment at the Jeffersonian…
Wild guess? Pelant is gonna tamper with Hodgins’ bank account, and make his fortune vanish! Pelant knows his way around bank accounts and how to get money from and to. He did it with Brennan, to Caroline. Now the guess is that he is gonna make all Hodgins’ money vanish. Oh my. That man is creepy as hell!

Yeah I’m with CB, I guess it has to do with Pelant since the teaser about the episode he returns mentioned that he’s going to try to go after Hodgins and Angela.
Remember that Hodgins runs Cantilever…which is the primary source of funds for the Jeffersonian if I recall. Hodgins/Cantilever goes broke, Medio-Legal lab may lose funding altogether. No lab, no team. Pelant wins by breaking the team up.

I’m with the consensus so far. Plant finds a way to freeze his funds or make it so he no longer has money.
I think CB might be right.
After that flirtation thing with the street artist – and the hint about the body in their bed- and now this “garage sale” drama- I keep getting this bad feeling about Hodgins & Angela’s relationship going south – AND I promise you if Hart messes with them they will lose this fan forever- and I have never missed a show- have all the DVDs – etc. and I am not alone on this.
Didn’t Zack live above the garage? Maybe he’s finally sorting Zack’s stuff… 🙁 I wish Zack would come back, I miss him 🙁
Wow. Hodgins is one of the creepiest TV characters ever. Someone thinks his “flirting” with girls is charming, while Angela, who should be worn out, talks him down. He’s not good looking, not sexy in any way, and should be gone, rather him than Zack, just saying.
Please give Hodgens back his money! It was much more fun with his secret.
