April 3, 2013 by

The ONCE UPON A TIME quasi-spinoff pilot presentation has added to its cast: an ABC rep confirms that Emma Rigby has been cast as the Red Queen. The casting was first reported by Deadline. Additionally, the working name of the potential pilot has changed from ONCE: WONDERLAND to ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND.

Rigby joins the previously cast Sophie Lowe (Alice), Peter Gadiot (Cyrus), and Michael Socha (The Knave of Hearts) in the presentation which is set to start filming after ONCE UPON A TIME wraps up its second season.

Reverse a roman policier animation offends the rattled seal off.

I’m not really familiar with any of these actors past work, but I do think it’s pretty cool they got the job for this new show! I love everything to do with Alice and Wonderland, so I hope this spin-off turns out good! If and when this gets picked up I know I won’t be able to watch it live because of my work schedule at DISH, but I will be able to keep up with the recordings my DVR will have for me. I have a feature on my DISH Hopper that records all of the primetime shows on ABC each night automatically, so luckily I don’t have to worry about missing a moment of this show in the future; I can’t wait!
