NBC’s THE FAMILY GUIDE Changing Its Name To GROWING UP FISHER

One of NBC’s new comedies is changing its name: a rep for the show confirms that the J.K. Simmons-led THE FAMILY GUIDE will now be known as GROWING UP FISHER. (The Futon Critic was first to report the change.)

That’s not the only change going on for the midseason series: Parker Posey, who played the female lead in the pilot is departing and will be recast.
