Backstage at the Creative Arts Emmys 2013: Stories From Bob Newhart, Dan Bucatinsky, Carrie Preston, and More
September 16, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
While the Creative Arts Emmy winners got their time on stage to give their acceptance speeches (and you can watch the broadcast of the ceremony on FXX this Saturday), there’s always more to say, more light to shed on what it means to them, etc.
So, backstage, after their victories, many of the night’s winners talked with press…and they shared some lovely sentiments about the shows that got them an Emmy…
Carrie Preston (Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series, THE GOOD WIFE)
While Preston is regularly being kept busy on TRUE BLOOD -- not to mention guest spots on PERSON OF INTEREST and an upcoming gig on THE FOLLOWING -- with the HBO series coming to a close soon, Preston said she'd love to make her THE GOOD WIFE gig more of a regular thing. "I've made myself known there that I would love to be on that show anytime," she said. "Any time they call me, I will come. So I hope they will call me again, not just in light of this [win], but I do feel I'm a part of the family."
