The last few episodes of CASTLE have been on the lighter side, but things take a drastic turn in next week’s hour, “In the Belly of the Beast”: a (relatively) simple request for Beckett spirals into something much, much worse.

“It’s an intense episode that puts Beckett into a very dangerous situation, unexpectedly,” CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe previewed. “She has to use her wits to survive. And it brings us back into contact with some old friends.”

While Beckett comes face-to-face with people from her past, her colleagues — and an increasingly concerned Castle — struggle to figure out what happened to her.

“It’s very intense for them, because they don’t know where she is, or what’s going on,” Marlowe pointed out. “But they know that she’s in a great deal of jeopardy, and they’re doing everything they can to figure [the situation] out and to help her.”

Hm…

CASTLE airs Mondays at 10 PM on ABC. And make sure to come back to Give Me My Remote after “In the Belly of the Beast” airs for more from Marlowe!

I know Stana will act the heck out of all her scenes like she always does. Beckett is amazing in peril and I hope Castle and the boys are amazing in finding her.
