SLEEPY HOLLOW: 5 Teases for ‘Mama’

November 17, 2014 by

SLEEPY HOLLOW is exploring a bit more of the Mills family drama with Monday’s brand new episode, “Mama,” as footage from suspicious deaths at Tarrytown Psych leads Abbie and Jenny to fear their mother’s soul might be responsible.

For me, “Mama” is the best episode SLEEPY HOLLOW has put out in season 2, and while I don’t want to ruin anything in the hour, I do have a few teases about what goes down…

  1. Originally, SLEEPY HOLLOW was supposed to introduce Mama Mills to the audience in the season premiere before we actually got introduced to her properly in this episode. While those plans may have changed, viewers’ first introduction to her in “Mama” is actually not via the case of the week.
  2. Thanks in part to Abbie and Ichabod’s recent success with busting the local “cult,” Sheriff Reyes allows Abbie to take lead on the Tarrytown Psych case.
  3. With the investigation centering around Tarrytown Psych, Irving has an increased presence in the hour. (And thanks to other circumstances in the hour, it seems like Irving’s increased screen time won’t just be a one-episode thing. Woohoo.)
  4. Ichabod is a bit under the weather in “Mama,” so his introduction to something new this episode is a food. Though the person who actually gives Ichabod said food influences whether he claims to like it or not.
  5. Henry may have wanted Katrina to see Baby!Molach as a tiny human, but he didn’t count on what it would mean to watch his estranged mother be mothering to someone else.

SLEEPY HOLLOW airs Mondays at 9 PM on Fox.
