Admittedly, much of my Tuesday night was spent watching baseball, so my scripted viewing was limited.

But let’s talk about what went down last night!

GRANDFATHERED: I adored GRANDFATHERED. Absolutely adored it. It fascinated me that Jimmy accepted everything so easily — you’d think he’d be questioning it all a little bit more — but it feels like a little slice of happy. The family dynamic was adorable, baby Edie is just the cutest, and Paget Brewster is ridiculously underrated.

THE MUPPETS: Interesting that the show had Josh Groban, Jay Leno, Laurence Fishburne, and Lea Thompson in one episode. (Poor Kermit, though, getting his moment with Thompson ruined.) All of the spots felt authentic, but I wonder how long that can sustain itself on that end. Aside from that, funny episode

THE GRINDER: I wonder how the show read to people outside of the industry, but I loved this new show, too. I am very curious how the show will function going forward (the percentage of cases versus the family angle), but I’m in. (#teenlife)

SCREAM QUEENS: The Backstreet Boys scene was amazing. I do find I’m most taken out of the show when it goes uber campy, though. I enjoy camp/fun/comedy in horror projects, but the very fake “both arms get chainsawed off” scene took me out of things for a second. I kind of wish it looked/felt a bit more real?

That being said, the fact that they’re saying there are two killers this early on makes me wonder if there are actually more…
