About Last Night…THE SIMPSONS, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, and THE WALKING DEAD

Let’s talk about Sunday night TV!

THE SIMPSONS: The “Treehouse of Horror” episodes are some of my very favorite Simpsons installments overall, but this year’s was…fine? It helped/hurt that the best bit was Bob killing Bart, and that was the first story.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE: A) I want to be Rosa Diaz when I grow up. B) Holt and Terry’s handshake was magical. C) Holt’s photobomb was perfect.

I did love that Amy fooled both Holt and Jake, though. While it makes sense they’d be wary of her loyalties, she’s a good detective, and they both acted kind of gross to her to win a bet. So glad she got to be the queen.

THE WALKING DEAD: I’ve watched TWD since the pilot, but my love for it has been hit-miss throughout the years. I didn’t super love the premiere, but I’ve really enjoyed the second two hours of the season; I’m hoping it continues at this quality.

That being said, I agree with the internet consensus that doubts that Glenn is dead. It was a beautifully heartbreaking shot to show Glenn surrounded by the walkers, blood pouring over him, as the music swelled, but…

Right now, the big question feels like when we’ll see Glenn again. I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t see him for weeks. Maybe not the midseason finale, but close enough. Or maybe he’ll be the first thing we see next week.

(Also, anyone else thinking during that scene that Nicholas was just going to throw Glenn into the crowd versus him shooting himself? I guess accidentally knocking Glenn to the walkers is better than doing it on purpose.)
