Let’s talk about Monday TV!

THE VOICE: Kelly. Clarkson. Didn’t. Keep. SandyRedd???? I know we’ve just started the Battle Rounds, but I doubt anything is going to shock me as deeply as that did.

That being said, we’re also an hour into the Battles and half the steals are gone! This is going to lead to some painful cuts in the episodes to come.

ARROW: I’m really excited about the energy of the season premiere. I’m genuinely interested in who the new Green Arrow is, plus Adult!William should make things interesting. I also hope Oliver stays in prison for a bit so the ramifications of the sacrifice—and the world sans Oliver—is actually felt.

HAPPY TOGETHER: I know it was in the context of getting a bit older and bodies changing in your 30s, but it was a little weird that the comedy was talking about Amber Stevens West’s weight, given her real-life pregnancy. (And of course Cooper’s heavy phase was just not him having a six-pack.)

MANIFEST: The metallic angel visions were freaky. Yikes to Olive calling Danny instead of her father. (Or mother. Or aunt. Or anyone else.) The stowaway situation was fascinating, but also how was that not discovered earlier?! It’s not like it was a normal airport where it would be easier to blend in…that plane had to be totally and completely monitored given the strange circumstances around its disappearance.
