Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, A Million Little Things

GREY’S ANATOMY – “Reunited” – With new restrictions, Meredith tiptoes the line of protocol as she helps Jo with a difficult procedure from afar; and Koracick makes things challenging for Owen at Grey Sloan. Meanwhile, a patient at the hospital is brain-dead after falling into a construction site, and her two sisters must decide whether or not to keep her alive, on “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, OCT. 10 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Let’s talk about Thursday night TV!

GREY’S ANATOMY: I haven’t watched every single “Cast from the Past” episode, but this one felt, by far, like the best use of the gimmick. Heck, the CHARMED stars were part of a real, sizable storyline versus just being a glorified cameo.

Loved that Owen was supportive of Teddy’s desire to be at work; them sneaking around the hospital with their baby was adorable. Amelia and Link are adorable. I hope Maggie gets her act together.

SUPERSTORE: I don’t know how much the show will be able to use Heidi Gardner, but Garrett dating Dina’s nemesis is going to be an insane mess.

This was a good way to keep Mateo around for an episode, but I’m very curious how they do it consistently.

SUPERNATURAL: Oh, that final shot was a lot.

I’m very curious how serialized the final season ends up being. 20 episodes isn’t a small amount, but it still isn’t the largest season they’ve done. I appreciate serialization, but I also hope there is time for one out of the box episode.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS: Man, Regina and Rome are great together. I still can’t get behind Katherine and Eddie, and don’t know how long it’ll take before I have any rooting interest in them.

I really need to know if James Roday ad-libbed the line about being there to see his 12-year-old friend.

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT: I was worried about how the show would handle the Jussie Smollett case, but it felt like they handled it the best way they could have—especially because there were a lot of sizable differences. I enjoyed Garland‘s addition to the team and seeing Carisi get to do his thing.

I do really wish the “Noah wants to dance” storyline had been held until a different episode, though.
