Let’s talk about Wednesday night’s TV!

THE GOLDBERGS: Beverly Goldberg yelled at haunted paintings. And it worked! And was true! I love it.

CHICAGO MED: Yikes to Will realizing maybe he had been treating Natalie unfair…only to immediately gloss over that when he realized that Natalie didn’t have a ring on when she was admitted into the hospital. (Which, to be fair, is still a pretty far leap. We know this isn’t the case, but if Natalie had said yes, but wanted to let Will know gently, it also makes sense she wouldn’t have a ring on?)

SCHOOLED: Coach Rick got the girl! It was awkward, and he almost botched it, but good for him.

CHICAGO FIRE: Okay, I’m glad it wasn’t the boy who set the fire, because there have been so many devious kids on television in the past few weeks.

I’m glad Gallo opened up to Casey, but at the same time…shouldn’t Casey have respected him for not trying to make excuses for going against the rules? He owned up to it and was willing to make amends.

MODERN FAMILY: The commitment to plan a prank for nearly a year? My goodness. What an incredible plan. But poor Phil, because now he’s never getting out of a prank war with Claire.

SEAL TEAM: I haven’t seen ahead, but I have a bad feeling about the new guy. I hope he survives, but…

(Though everyone’s crankiness around him probably won’t help matters.)

CHICAGO P.D.: The opening with the dead kids was brutal. And goodness, the A.I. was…awful. But given how bad—and racist—the technology is, I’m glad it was addressed on a television show so maybe a few more million people will be aware about its real-life limitations.

As for the show itself, I’m glad Voight was able to make it as right as possible…though I imagine this case is going to mess with Halstead for a bit.
