TV has arguably never been more varied, with several hundred scripted shows on the air and new platforms constantly popping up. So with the year coming to an end, we looked back at some of the best things to grace our screens this year…
WHISKEY CAVALIER
It’s extremely not easy to establish a new will they/won’t they in 2019—with patience for that trope from the audience appearing to dwindle by the year—and it’s also difficult to establish a fun ensemble drama. And if you’re able to do one of those two things, you’re generally not able to do both. WHISKEY CAVALIER did. Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan had electric chemistry, and it’s a real shame ABC didn’t continue on with the series. (ABC/Larry D. Horricks)
