Let’s talk about Monday night’s TV!

PRODIGAL SON: It’s probably a very dangerous precedent to allow every killer who wants to talk on live TV to have an open line…

I am irrationally sad Martin confessed he intended to kill Malcolm when his son was a boy. Not that we should expect good things from a serial killer, but yikes, what a line he almost was willing to cross.

Even excluding the stabbing, the Malcolm/Jessica/Martin joint reunion was dramatic. I’m endlessly fascinated by the very, very, very thin line the show has to walk to not overdue playing with the natural chemistry and drama, while also not neglecting it.

There’s no way Martin is going to die, but this is definitely going to mess up Malcolm—and probably Jessica!—for a bit of time.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS: There were a lot of great acts in the finals. My personal highlights? Sandou Trio, The Silhouettes, Angelina Jordan, and Marcelito Pomoy. I truly don’t know who is going win. Maaaaaybe if I had to guess, The Silhouettes may have done enough to make people emotional? But the risk for the Sandou Trio, plus their late placement in the show might be enough of an advantage.
