Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

THE FLASH: I miss THE FLASH of pre-“Crisis.” I understand why Barry is still struggling with all of the changes, because I’m finding myself feel the same way. (It may also be compounded because I watch all of the ARROWverse shows and a number of them have been—naturally, given the scope—dealing with the fallout of the crossover.) The first half of the season was fantastic as Barry grappled with his impending death, while also throwing in a few lighter moments. It makes sense this show would be the one feeling the impact the most, but I’m really not sure what would feel less jarring. As Barry discovered, the changes since “Crisis” are so huge—both big and small—that we could, in theory, still be finding out new elements four seasons from now.

THE VOICE: I’m absolutely fascinated by Toneisha Harris landing on Team Blake. She was easily the standout of the night for me—both her heartbreaking story and her incredible voice—but Team Blake has heavily skewed toward country. If he’s faced with keeping her or a good/great country artist, will he actually keep her around? (I could see arguments both ways.)

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: While I wish the Constantine story had gone on a little longer, it was a fun episode. The Charlie reveal was nothing I expected—I thought it might be something more tragic or sinister—but I’m curious to see how it impacts the show going forward. But holy moly, the writers gave Caity Lotz one heck of a complicated episode to direct for her first go-round.
