With May the 4th (an unofficial STAR WARS holiday) around the corner, Disney+ is adding the final film in the Skywalker saga to the streaming platform two months early.

STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER was released in theaters in December 2019, as it closed out four decades of the franchise’s storytelling. (Spread out over nine films.) The film starred Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, with Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams

In addition to RISE OF SKYWALKER, May the 4th on Disney+ will also include the premiere of the eight-episode documentary series DISNEY GALLERY: THE MANDALORIAN, as well as the series finale of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.
