Let’s talk about Tuesday night’s TV!

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: We have reached Peak Universal Studios Theme Park Usage: BATES MOTEL being used as the backdrop for a performance of “God’s Country.” This absolutely made me laugh. (I’m sorry.) The juxtaposition was just too much.

I truly have no clue how they’re going to narrow it down to five acts. I would guess my top picks are Alan Silva, Brandon Leake, Archie Williams, Broken Roots, and Shaquira McGrath, but I don’t necessarily think they’ll pick three singers to move forward.

LOVE ISLAND: Ohhhhhh, boy, it’s getting messy now.

It’s kind of crazy the couples didn’t get to talk before Casa Amor was introduced. Obviously they’re all spending so much time together, frequently talking about their relationship, but it’s kind of sad they didn’t get to make sure they were on the same page.

It’s insane how much can change in 24 hours. Yesterday, I thought Johnny and Cely were the couple to beat. Now, I don’t even think they’ll make it out of Casa Amor intact. (Calvin is absolutely not going to make it through this time without moving on to someone else, but that’s fine because Moira finally seems to have someone who is totally into her.)

Carrington’s pure joy over the twist was hilarious, though.
