Let’s talk about Sunday night’s TV!

THE ROOKIE: I’m curious how much time this season will cover. With only a handful of days left, in theory, with these cop pairing, might the writers stretch that out for, basically, the season?

I did love that Lopez got to immediately be a badass as a detective. I’m really interested to see how the show handles her promotion, because right now she is so far removed from the rest of the characters and she’s still hiding her pregnancy. Will they actually allow her this win, or is something going to bump her back to her old job? (Though, loved the addition of Kamar de los Reyes; hopefully we’ll see him more this season.)

I did appreciate that Harper noted Nolan’s behavior was verging on trying to be a white savior. And, uh, Brandon Routh’s Stanton is going to be a problem, huh?
