With MASKED SINGER host Nick Cannon testing positive for COVID-19, Nash will emcee the show as production kicks off on Thursday, February 4. She’ll remain as temporary host until Cannon has recovered and is able to return to the series.

The fifth season, which is set to debut in March, will return with a new batch of masked contestants, with panelist mainstays Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke.

Nash is no stranger to THE MASKED SINGER universe, having served as a guest panelist in season 4. (She also appeared on Jeong’s game show I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE.)

Variety was first to report the hosting swap.
