Exclusive: Fox Debuts Key Art for Angela Bassett-Narrated MALIKA THE LION QUEEN

On Easter Sunday (April 4), Fox is airing a new wildlife documentary, MALIKA THE LION QUEEN, about a group of South African lionesses. (MALIKA will also stream on Fox’s free streaming site, Tubi, starting Sunday, April 18.)

The two-hour special follows Malika, who lives in South Africa’s Kruger National Park, as the documentarians explore the dynamics between the lioness and her pride.

MALIKA THE LION QUEEN also has an incredible narrator tapped to help shape the story: 9-1-1 star Angela Bassett, who is a two-time Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Narrator, thanks to her work on 2018’s THE FLOOD and 2019’s THE IMAGINEERING STORY.
